Omg!!! Silly me!!! I totally forgot my contacts back at home!!! Like what!?? I'm in Miami on my vacation with my man, we barely touched down and I don't have my contacts to look extra cute?? Girl, I cannot see without my glasses, I'm like Velma from Scooby doo! I kid you not! But to my surprise, I remembered I recently got my prescription not too long ago so I can hit up any eye glasses store and see if they had my prescription. I was willing to pay for a pair because I know how pricey contacts are. Luckily for me, I had the pleasure of speaking with Benji! Absolutely the best!! I called late night right before closing and he was so kind and so helpful with my situation. He went above and beyond for me! I never had such an amazing customer service like that!! He explained to me that he cannot sell me pair, he first needs give me a trail pair to see if my eyes will adjust well to the contacts. I stopped by the next morning, got a box for each eye and gave me a week's worth of contacts for the trail. I walked out without paying a dime! I decided loved his service and will definitely will be placing an order with this establishment!! read more

Went back to this store to have eye check up for me and my son. Joy helped me and my son in having our check up. Dr. Cristy did our check up and it was great. She explained to us everything. My son got his contact lenses and I didn't get anything because my vision was fine. Will always go to this store for all our eyewear and vision needs. Excellent customer service! read more

My husband and I went in for eye exams, and I purchased a pair of lenses from the store at Lincoln Rd. This is the series of unfortunate events that happened to us: - They canceled our first appointment and failed to notify us. We went in for our exam, and they straight up told us that somebody else called earlier on my name to cancel our appointment. It sounded very much like a coverup lie, but we understood the mistake and decided to reschedule. - I got their number from our insurance providers list (Spectera), and I also asked them if they worked with my insurance to double-check, and they said yes. After we finally got the exams, they told us that that particular doctor didn't work with insurance, so we needed to pay $80 each (when our insurance copayment is only $10). It was a very uncomfortable situation, and the services were provided, so we were forced to pay. They later agree to reimburse us $80. - They ended up charging us around $250 for a single pair of glasses. Our insurance covers $150 for the frames and the lenses for free. So a single pair of regular acrylic frames cost over $400?! I asked them to disclose the prices of everything to understand what I was paying for, and they got very annoyed and just were very vague about it. - After I came home, I checked the receipt to see if I could ask our insurance for reimbursement, but the ticket didn't say anything about the services provided nor the products purchased! It just said $45. Of course, my credit card was charged for the full amount. It just lives me thinking, is this something they do for tax evasion purposes?! - When they finally called to say that my glasses were ready, they asked me to pick them up before 6 pm. I went the same day, drove over 30 minutes, and arrived at 5:45 pm, and they were closed! It's been 3 weeks, and I still don't have my glasses! This just has been a month-long horrible nightmare. I feel belittled, scammed, and that I am some sort of a joke. read more

Got my prescriptions and sunglasses here. I love the unique design and great quality. I bought two pairs of the same prescriptions glasses last time because they are limited production. Took my daughter to SEE after dealing with another corporation eyewear. Meet Shanell who helped her to find her glasses. He was so professional and helpful, not pushy at all and didn't care how many glasses she try on. She felt really taking care of. Will recommend this to anyone. Shanell was very helpful and courteous. read more

Very good eyewear hunting experience with these amazing crew. Ask for Martha she is a well know specialist and will make of you visit an unforgettable experience. I purchased an online frame eyeglass and honestly I don't recommend it; be in the shop and try every single pair of frame you like. I ended returning the online purchase and getting an amazing red frame (hopefully the forever ones). Martha helped me from the beginning to the end with the return and with the appointment with the optometrist. I recommend her without hesitation. (Ademas habla mi idioma!) read more

I have been going to this store and purchasing my eyeglasses for years and plan to continue to do so for many more. The quality and style of the glasses I believe are the best. They are constantly changing the selections and keeping the numbers low so that you never see anyone with your same eyeglasses. The store manager Faras I have to say is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people you can find. He always makes my experience easy because he knows his product so well. He also remembers what I like and thanks to his pointing out glasses I might like I always save time and find what I like! I waited during the pandemic foe Faras to reopen since I would not go elsewhere. read more

Eyeglass shopping with SEE was the best. Great eye exam with Dr. Jacqueline Gunn, optometrist and then on to finding the right pair with managers Feras & Keith. Fantastic service and exceptional knowledge about their selection is something that I have come to rely on as SEE has been a fixture & go-to for the latest styles on Lincoln Rd for years. The boutique can get busy but it was so much fun watching all of the action in this location and know that these professionals should be recognized. Happy is an understatement. Visiting South Beach? I'll break this review down into three sections: service, quality and price. The service was unparalleled. I haven't purchased new glasses in over six years so I needed a lot of handholding and patience. Kim, who happens to be the store manager, showed me roughly 60 pairs of glasses and never hesitated to give her candid opinion or spend more time making sure I was comfortable. I spent about 2 hours just finding the perfect pair. The exam only took a few minutes and the doctor was right on time (I had reserved an appointment). The quality appears to be very good. No name brands are sold. SEE only sells their own frames. The price was reasonable. I used my corporate insurance and purchased one pair of frames with high index lenses and a year's worth of contacts. Out of pocket cost was roughly $500. I will definitely return to SEE in the future. read more

Worst lenses I have ever bought in my 30 years wearing glasses. They scratch from even the cleaning cloth they come with. Response from the SEE store : all lenses scratch and they are meant to last only 6-11 months! These are my only glasses that are full of scratches from cleaning with SEE wipes. My optician bought glasses from my Eye Dr that I have had for years do not scratch this bad. Not even my cheap internet bought glasses scratch this bad. Going back to my Optician from now on! Pretty bad quality for such expensive lenses that cost more than other opticians! read more

Superior design, inferior product. The lens coating failed within 16 months of purchase, the warrantee was for 12 months, they cannot remove the failed coating, need to purchase new lenses at an exorbitant cost of $500. Ridiculous! read more

I absolutely love my glasses that I purchased at another SEE a few years ago. Popped into this location while recently on vacation. Same wonderful selection of fabulous, stylish, unique, well made glasses. Unfortunately the service at this Miami Beach location is awful!!! I would give 1 star if I didn't love their glasses so much. I purchased discontinued glasses slightly discounted on sale. They tried to charge me $99 for lenses. NOPE. Single vision lenses are always included at SEE. I literally had to pull up the website to show the employee that lenses are included. Sales person was VERY rude about it. I also chose to purchase some sunglasses from the clearly marked SALE rack. They were telling everyone coming in the door that the sunglasses on sale were $49. Salesperson rung me up for full price. NOPE. She literally saw me pick them off of the sale rack and another identical pair was still on the sale rack. I told her they were sale glasses and she got all rude again and tried to debate me, insisting I pay full price. Unbelievable. I was so ready to WALK OUT of this SEE store because I was so annoyed and frustrated. But I didn't. My glasses and sunglasses are fab. But I highly recommend NOT BUYING HERE. Try on or whatever and then buy online or drive to another location (which probably isn't close, but worth it to avoid this place) to purchase. Miami Beach SEE will try to rip you off and they're SO rude. read more

We have been buying unique glasses at See for a few years. We just picked up my wife's new pair and the service we got from Feras was top notch. Feras is an absolute STAR!!! I'm obsessed with my frames!!!!! (Shout out to Robert & Frandy too!) Nothing but good vibes and creative solutions! I wasn't a fan of the blue light coating on one pair and Feras was able to swap it no problem! If you're looking for one of a kind frames, this is the place! for all those customers that purchased eyewear at SEE, wait until you have an problem with their product and see who they don't help you. Its shameful how quick they take your money and have nothing but an email to give you when you have an issue with their product. I guess I choose unwisely when I trusted them to do my glasses. NOW THAT THEY ARE MESSED UP ITS MY FAULT. NOT THEIRS .....great customer service wouldn't you say ! read more

I just purchased my second pair of glasses from See. On a whim last year, I walked in to take a look. My laser eye surgery didn't fully correct my vision, but now that I don't need bottle-glass thick lenses anymore, fashionable lenses are actually an option for me! See obtains their frames from European makers and claims to offer innovative styles without the European price tag. I just think they have cool funky frames and I appreciate that price tag includes the lenses. However, the price tag does not include the "extras" like anti-reflective, scratch resistant coating etc. That will run you an additional $100. The on-site Dr. offers late appointments and is available on the weekends. The Dr. I saw was great and I believe gave me the most accurate Rx ever. My second pair took about two days -- a lot quicker turnaround time than last year's pair. That's because See now has an in-house lab and can do some prescriptions in 20 minutes (if it's not busy). As Siobhan V. mentioned, all the sales people are friendly, attentive and helpful. This is my go-to place when I want a new look -- especially when I can do it using my flex-spending/health savings account! read more

I ABSOLUTELY love this product and love this brand, but I HATE this store. My love for SEE began in Tampa, FL at International Plaza. Great product and great folks! I no longer live in Tampa and travel to Miami for work now and again so I'm forced to do business with the store on Lincoln Road. The people who work here are nice enough but the service sucks! They are quick to make the sale and cant even remember your name when you come in to pick the product up just two weeks later. As soon as I have an opportunity to do business with another SEE store somewhere else in the country, I will do so. read more

I've walked by this place maybe a million times on my way to or from work. I finally stopped in because I needed new glasses and they accept my insurance. SEE is open late on Thursdays and Saturdays and Dr. Boeckel was really chill and patient with me. I would have expected to see him on a surfboard before seeing him in a white lab coat. This boutique is super cute with vintage black and white photos in gold frames hung throughout the store. The walls are whitewashed and there is no shortage of mirrors. Maybe it's just me, but I found it a bit unusual that not a single employee was wearing glasses. Anyways, they have a decent selection of frames and sunglasses. There are no designer brands here like Versache or Chanel like at my previous eye place - only SEE brand frames in a variety of shapes and colors. Every hipster in Miami Beach must buy their specs here. I was happy to find a pair that matched perfectly what I was envisioning in my mind. I left looking like I was on 'shrooms since they dilated my eyes. Glad it was nighttime and I didn't have far to go. read more

Really great glasses! Everything in this store is manufactured for See. The salesperson said often times, if a design is sold out, they won't make that particular pair of glasses again. I was particularly attracted to the multi-colored ones. The frames were liked layered candies, very much like Turkish delights. They were doing a really great sale a week ago. Everything was half off. But alas, I already have new glasses. I was very disturbed though to see someone come in with their dog. The owner had stuffed this poor dog's paws into tiny running shoes! I can't imagine why he was in here...to give the dog glasses?! The salesguy and I were outraged. read more

The deal was too good to pass up and with so many options and excellent customer service you will find a perfect pair of glasses. Their selection of frames are so unique and stylish and....special. I had been debating a pair of specs from SEE a few months back, and felt guilty cheating on their super friendly staff for a pair of gorgeous designer frames my mother treated me to at the Aventura Macy's. Their eyewear is very reasonable price-wise and very hip style-wise. A couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to score a gift certificate ($200) to the store and decided it was time to upgrade my sunglasses. I went in and got all the help, support and validation I needed from Anna to pick out a pair that works with my face and not against it. I ordered my new shades ($250 sans gift card) and they were ready a week and a half later. Super super easy process. They even let me fax/scan in my prescription from home when I realized I had forgotten it, no big deal. Buying glasses at SEE is just easy. It's just easy. read more

My apologies if my review was a little too colorful I see that it had been taken down. I'll try this again. I went to See Eyewear to look at some frames. The store was an absolute mess first of all. All of the associates we're busy helping other customers. The manager was on a personal phone call. I looked for her to help me pick out some frames. I got the ugliest look as if I was bothering her. I continue to help myself shortly after continuing my search. One of the sales consultant came over to help me best she could while juggling other clients. When she asked her manager to help me. She also receive the same look. I have never been so turned off in a professional atmosphere such as this. I have worked and shopped on Lincoln Road for 15 years. I have purchased all of my Frames from a select few staff members. For some odd reason See Eyewear is taking a shift hiring sloppy and rude employees. I strongly suggest corporate take another look at their staff members and start cleaning up the staff. Starting with the manager. read more

While visiting Miami from NY, randomly decided I wanted a new pair of glasses and was psyched to find SEE in Miami since there is also a store in Manhattan that I've checked out in the past. The glasses I think are way overpriced considering they are all plastic, but that's what's in right now, so they can charge as much as they like. I was able to find a pair that I really liked off of the sale wall and they were able to have them fitted and with the right lenses by the next day. It was awesome. Whenever I wear these glasses, I always get compliments from random people (they are square black frames with a little pink and blue stripes) and they work to be both casual and professional at the same time. Would definitely go back to SEE if I ever needed another pair, but would steer clear of paying full price. read more
