POOR ONLINE ORDERING EXPERIENCE. I placed an order for frames on 3/25/26 and paid via PayPal,…read morereceived a confirmation immediately but then didn't hear anything for a few days. So I emailed them on 3/28/26 to find out what the status was and did not receive a response. So today 3/31/26 I called and they told me the frames I ordered were actually not available and they would cancel my order. When I asked why they never notified me about any of this, the man on the phone just said "because we didn't get to it." They may have a great walk-in mall shop (I have no idea), but AVOID ONLINE ORDERS with Next Level Optical - they are amateurs. I gave them two stars (instead of one) because at least they answered the phone, were polite, and finally refunded my money.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent visit to your office and to request a…read morerefund for services that were not disclosed to me in advance. Three weeks ago, I had a full eye examination with Dr. Wise, an ophthalmologist (MD) in Florida. Since I have worn glasses since high school, all I needed at this visit was a new prescription after losing my glasses. Last year, I also had a full exam at LensCrafters in Aventura, where the front desk clearly explained all costs and insurance coverage before my appointment. That visit was handled transparently and professionally. At MyEyeDr, however, the front desk did not explain what my insurance would or would not cover. During my appointment, a technician took retinal images without informing me that this would result in a $44 charge. I should have been told in advance and given the choice to decline. In addition, I was charged $140 for a contact lens fitting that was never discussed with me beforehand. The optometrist attempted multifocal lenses, which did not work for me. I was the one who had to suggest the lens setup I normally use (one lens for distance), and only then did he agree it would work. This left me feeling the fitting was unnecessary and not worth the fee. At checkout, I was presented with a bill of $640 that included these undisclosed charges. I was not prepared for such an amount and chose not to proceed with the purchase. The interaction with the sales associate afterward was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Because I was not informed of these additional services or fees beforehand, I am requesting a refund of the $44 retinal image fee and the $140 contact lens fitting fee. I believe this is a fair resolution given the lack of transparency and communication at my appointment. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and resolution.

He makes you feel at ease, and that your feelings and whatever you're experiencing matters to him. He's very caring. We need more optometrist like him. He keeps you laughing, and he's professional with his patients. The staff let's not forget about them. They're all very professional the young ladies that were there, were new since my last visit this time last year, so I didn't know their names. Marlin, I hope that I have his name correct, as always was exceptional! Thanks staff of MyEyeDr you're all the Best!

I was very nervous coming into Lenscrafters to get prescription eye glasses. I made an appointment…read morewith the Optometrist, Dr. Charles Rosenthal. When I arrived, they were able to see me right away. The staff were friendly, and the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and patient. Dr. Rosenthal never made me feel rushed and answered every question that I asked. After my exam, Xiomura helped me pick a pair of glasses that was suited for my face. She took photos of me in over 10 different pairs of glasses so that we could compare styles. I never would have been able to find the right glasses without her. So here is one of my favorite things about Lenscrafters. They will redo your glasses without any hassle (for the first 30 days I think). Once I had my glasses home, I realized that I needed to be able to see better clarification at a particular distance for my computer monitor. I was able to make a quick appointment and get the new lenses (progressive, transitions) in the same day. Free of charge, the doctor talked to me to help figure out the best solution. Also, one important factor is that they are also very skilled at adjusting the glasses. They also have a machine to heat the frames if needed. Xiomura was able to adjust the frames in a way that they fit perfectly. The prices for the frames are over-inflated. But they often have coupon specials on their web site. The skilled service to help get the right pair of glasses makes it worth it.

I am completely dissatisfied with my experience at this LensCrafters location…read more I ordered eyeglasses and paid approximately $540, which I consider an expensive purchase. During the process, it was not clearly explained to me whether the discount applied was a new-member discount or the discount I may be entitled to as a Medicare beneficiary. That lack of clarity was frustrating and should have been handled more professionally. After placing the order, I was never properly contacted to let me know that my eyeglasses were ready. I eventually had to call the store myself. During that phone call, I was treated in a rude and disrespectful manner and was told that they only send text messages. However, I was not properly informed of that policy, and I never received a text message. I later contacted the store and submitted a complaint. A few minutes later, another representative called me, but that interaction was also aggressive and unprofessional. When I finally picked up the glasses, I felt the service was incomplete and far below the level of care a customer should receive, especially after paying such a high amount. As an elderly customer and Medicare beneficiary, I expected to be treated with patience, respect, and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had, and I do not plan to return to LensCrafters.ision Care / Eye Care
