A very good Brazilian rodizio in Everett. Parking can be difficult on the street but is worth the effort. The BBQ is much better than other rodizios I have been to. There is a preponderance of beef items and they are cooked very well with both rare and more well done pieces. I came here for lunch and sometimes you will find the meat not as well cooked when there are not many people present, but definetly not the case here. First time here and it was bad. I had thought I'd be doing the buffet but it didn't look appealing at all so instead I went with the tilapia which was nicely done. I stood waiting for a hostess for a few minutes and finally had to ask someone to seat me. The waiter was initially friendly but soon refused to make eye contact and just presented the food. Brazilian food is a thing that I have been eating for my entire life, so every time I enter a Brazilian restaurant, I expect the usual taste, aroma and quality. This place meets my expectations but it can do a little bit better. Service is good and food is good. The only thing that I was upset about is when I asked for a specific meat. I asked for "Alcatra" and they gave me "Picanha". Me not being so stupid, I refused to take what they gave me, so they eventually got what I wanted. Diner BEWARE if you order takeout from Oliveira's. They charge you a 15% convenience fee for preparing your food, which I think is illegal as it does not state this anywhere on their menu!! The unfortunate thing is that their food is good in the restaurant as well as for takeout. But seriously you are going to charge me a fee because my "food has to be prepared in the kitchen"?? Really where the hell is the rest of the food prepared? We have ordered takeout many times and the prices were always higher than what the menu stated but I had assumed we had an old menu. On Friday 7/27 when I placed my order it was $8.50 more than the menu prices. When I called, the girl told me 'taxes and fees'. I asked 'What fees?'. I was here last year on a Saturday night, But I am going to the Woburn one tonight so will see how the 2 compare. But as I remember it...it was DELICIOUSO! Meats were awesome, tender and flavorful, plenty to go around, the buffet was very good as well. You have to pace yourself to fit everything in your belly. I went with a group of 22 people...meetup group. Our table had an 18 year old waiter, I guess he was getting the practice and he did a good job, cute too. The only thing I have to say is they were a bit stingy on the lamb meat, seemed like they did not want to give it out as much (I know can be expensive but you guys make a good business with $24.95)...c'mon). Drinks are separate price. They make a good sangria and since our table was ready she (bartender) brought over the sangria to the table...so nice. Was able to try this place out with co-workers. It's a great casual setting for any group. Their meat is perfectly cooked to an appropriate temperature, just so that the meat is juicy medium-rare on the inside, and grilled tender with seasoning on the outside. Worse delivery service ever, I've order food many times from this place the food aways come horribly packed, with the container dripping off in the bag, it looks like a food my dog would eat, plus my food came with almost no meat twice. I called the place to talk with the manager after several incidents, she apologized and offered me a free meal, well today I've called again, I ordered my food, my free meal, dessert, beverages. for my surprise the delivery guy confronted me for I had made a formal complain to the management, and on top of that my tutu (smashed beans) was spoiled, forcing me to trow everything in the trash. I have ordered from Oliveiras for the past 3 years. Not anymore... The worse way to lose a customer is to have people none "customer service oriented" as your manager. After waiting for an hour for my order to be delivered and being VERY explicit about what I wanted, I got the wrong order... Guess what... Called Oliveiras and the manager on duty (Wilton) told me "best of luck, the best I can do is take it back". I sent everything back and called Oasis Brazillian Restaurant in Medford. Gross employees, lack of personal hygiene, poor service and poor food quality. to be honest the place "looks cozy". I had quiet few visits in this place until i said to myself enough. Others visits I trried enjoy my dinner when i was disgust to see employees coming from bathrooms wipe down hands on asses then go straight to prep to go plates from the buffet, not to say cleaning their nose with hands then prep food. Last visit had as delivery ( my wife said lets get a popular plate called Picanha na Tabua and Salads) our 2 years son love salads with chicken.we ordered 7pm in beatifull evening and was promised to be deliver 7:45pm. Guess what? my son went bed w/out having his regular meal, we lost appetite until driver showed up 8:55pm with COLD AND WRONG ORDER. ...CALL store they were rude and mismanaged. For about 3 years my wife and I went to this restaurant 1-2 times a month. Over that time the quality declined so much we stopped going. Service was slow even when they weren't that busy, The staff who knew us weren't very friendly anymore and the meats were marginal. After a 1 year break we recently went back to see Brasil play in the World Cup and we decided to try the barbecue again and it was terrific. We were greeted by some familiar faces and they treated us like family, we were quickly seated and the great selection of meats they brought were perfectly prepared and nicely timed delivery. We went back a week later for another match and again had a terrific experience. I guess whatever problems they were having have been resolved and we are pleased to have our restaurant back. I have been to many Brazilian restnts in the US..but simply for its food this place always stands out in my mind...The food is a simple buffet with your traditional variety of Salads, Rice (white or w.meat, Beans, some Curry dishes, Fish, Sweet Plantains, Greens, and more supported by an awesome ..wait how about fantastic..BBQ which doesn't overcook or overseason..rotating on an open fire all day..constantly shuffled so it's fresh.. amongst the drinks selection your traditional sodas which I don't care for...but some mmmmazin fresh juice - Passion Fruit and Cashew...chilled to perfection...The place is small ...and the decor low key..with a few plasmas... I actually watched a Brazil / Portugal futbol match here one day and the place went insane...i heard everything from cheers to tears...and had such an awesome time..caught up in the futbol action which hardly gets any attention in the US.....this is not ur chic venu..but if you want to have a great satisfiying Brazilian meal in the Boston area...this is Numero Uno according to me ! read more

recently had dinner here with my husband, and we both walked away happy and full. we opted to do the all you can eat option, although based on other reviews, we may go for by the pound next time - and there will most certainly be a next time. the buffet had a wide assortment of options (sushi, tho? really?), but i need to remember - you go to a place like this for the meats, not the salad. don't fill the plate with salad. just get some rice and plantains, and wait for the nice man with the sword full of sausages. there was live music the night we went (a Saturday), and while it was a bit loud at first (i mentioned to the waiter that i couldn't hear him), they must have adjusted the volume, because it was quite good after about 10 minutes in. parking is a bit of a challenge, so give yourself a bit of time to hunt for a spot on the street. read more

My tip is to avoid this place. I am so disappointed. I have been there twice before and the quality has deteriorated. I brought family from out of town and they had a terrible experience. I am writing a review on the Olivera Restaurant in East Boston because I couldn't find it under the search. I usually go once a week to get a plate from the Buffet. There is various options to choose from. I tasted the rice and beans, sweet plaintains,chicken,etc. The fruits look fresh. Everything overall has the right amount of seasoning. The meats are juicy and glistening. The only food option that was a turn-off was the squash with beef. It has too much salt in it. For a nice amount, I usually spend around $10 for a plate. read more

the reviews are pretty spot on. salt is a key element here, and the meats were really tasty because of it. the seasonings are well done, but some of the meats were a bit on the dry side. the chicken, and brisket were one of my faves. and probably the steak tips too because they were crisp on the outside. the salad bar fell short but you're here to eat meat! not salad bar! do the AYCE option! they had no problem seating our large group and there was no wait for a saturday night. the place was lively but not packed. the parking lot is extremely small, but street parking was easy enough to find and this is predominantly a brazilian neighborhood so check the options before coming here, but i would def come back for a good meaty $17 AYCE meal! read more

If you dont mind being told a five minute wait that turns into a half hour and then watching people walk in behind you and get seated ahead of you this is the place for you. While waiting they bring you complimentery non alcoholic drinks you didn't order and leave them on your table in the waiting area. Don't drink it you will be charged in the end even tho you never ordered it and they put it right in front of you. The 18% gratuity added in is a turnoff too even tho I left more because it was taking too long to get my change. The food wasn't bad. But they don't come around enough with the meats. The food is okay and the service is pretty poor. However, they are not the reason I gave this one star and will never set foot in here again. I used to live down the street and would often go through the back parking lot to go the the shopping center like a lot of people. Behind the building where they receive their deliveries and employees park I saw a dead rat on the ground. Gross... But not the worst part. This rat stayed there for weeks over the summer and they just drove over it and left it there. If they have no problem leaving a dead rat out in the open behind their restaurant I can't imagine what it looks like in the kitchen or food storage areas.
