I love ordering from here. The shrimp tacos are the best I've had around this area. The food is always fresh and delicious. I've dined inside the Everett and East Boston locations. Fun Vibes! They also have music and karaoke some nights. The service is always friendly.

    Vegetarian Quesadilla ?

I asked for a vegetarian quesadilla, comes with mushroom, green peppers and monteray jack cheese. Asked them if they can take out the mushrooms and just add extra green peppers. Instead, I get a quesadilla with BROCCOLI AND CARROTS!!! Like what ??? When did green peppers start sounding like broccoli and carrots- in any language ??? Second time I ordered from this place, second time they got it wrong. Not doing it a third time.

I write my reviews under several pseudonyms to protect the review process.. The location is in the heart of Everett, MA. Easy parking, lot in the back, on-street metered parking. From the outside, the restaurant looked dark. It was a Friday, and the time was 9 pm. They have karaoke right alongside the people who are dining, which is something I've never encountered before. The noise level was so much that when talking to the person I brought along with me, we had to shout in each other's ears. The place is dark, so dark in fact with the loud music you wonder if its a restaurant or a club. I was met at the door by a man who showed us our table, there's no formal hostess, the waitress came over asked us for our drink orders, without asking if we even wanted water or not (something fairly common in restaurants). We ordered margaritas and I could see from where I was sitting that our waitress was the one who prepared our drinks. Also, something fairly uncommon. If she's making drinks, then who's tending the tables? Normally managers do this to cut costs. The menus are in a booklet, with photos, making the place feel like a Mexican Applebees. The food came out lukewarm, you can see a kitchen window, they ring a bell when your order is completed, similar to a diner scene in a shady movie. The plates are all just piled up, no order to how it's presented. You'd think I set up the plate myself at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The bathroom was at least clean, I noticed the man who sat me at my table sitting at the bar having drinks. The restaurant you can tell is poorly managed, lighting, presentation, the gimmicky karaoke, lack of real bartender, no hostess, the quality of the food, that all falls squarely on the management. The trouble with a place like this is they seem as though they've become complacent with their customers. Probably relying squarely on regulars to keep them afloat. The neighborhood of Everetts changing and if those who visit this spot move away, I'd be surprised if this place lasts through the next iteration of what the city is becoming. Restaurants such as Ole in Cambridge, La Barra in Union Sq, Somerville are much better options, and for my money, I'd rather stop by a Chipotle if they'd serve me a Corona.

Fajita was good. But the rice and beans did not have much flavor. The wings were great. Torta was also good but very salty

While on the smaller scale, there is an eclectic feel to the decor that makes it homey and feel like a family restaurant. The crowd varies from families to couples to groups of friends, making it a place for everyone. The service is extremely friendly and attentive, and likely one of the reasons I'd come back. We wanted to order lemon chuhai but saw it wasnt on the menu - when we asked our waitress which drink would be the closest to this, she actually told us she'd have the bartender just make it for us with lemon instead. This is just one example of how friendly the staff is. In terms of food, while pricey I did find it to be worth the value. We ordered the Thai basil stir fry with chicken which was tender and had an array of flavors and textures. We also the wagyu rice as the meat was tender, and the egg added a nice flavor. Lastly we had the A5 miyazaki zabuton- this we were able to cook ourselves and felt worth the price tag. The flavor and quality of the meat were delicious. Overall this was a fun experience with excellent service.

If you're looking for a solid weekday lunch spot, this is definitely worth a visit. For non-alcoholic drinks, the coconut matcha clouds is a must order. Super refreshing from the coconut juice with a nice creamy matcha foam on top. Really well balanced and not overly sweet. We ordered several dishes to share: Baked scallops with tom yum sauce - usually one of my favorites, but this version had too much cheese, which overpowered the flavor of the dish. Uni&wagyu toast: perfect bite if you love both Wagyu and uni! Monkfish liver - creamy, rich, and surprisingly clean tasting with no fishiness. Also reasonably priced. Picanha fried rice - the standout dish and the reason I keep coming back. Easily one of the best fried rice dishes I've had. The meat was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the rice. Torched salmon roll - tasty overall, but quite heavy, so good to share. Service is straightforward and efficient. Overall a great spot for catching up with friends or an easy date night.

All the flavors were good, and being that it was our first time there I might have ordered too much food to try - Eyes bigger than stomach mentality! The Curry Shrimp was insane delicious, the Tikka Masala was good, Medium spice is slightly spicy for those that dont love it, just a heads up! I can deal most often times but this night my mouth was doing its own thing & my lips were on fire, LOL But still ate the whole thing because the flavor was spot on and I was just unable to stop shoveling it into my mouth. Ordered 2 pieces of Naan and wish I got 100, Its such a simple item but OMG I could eat it all night, its like potato chips, LOL I went deep fried momo and might want to try steamed next time, we will see... They were good, but I didnt love them, Just way too greasy for me but that might just have been because of the extreme delay in delivery they sat in that grease!!! Cant wait to try more thing again, and now Im drooling, LOL

The vibe is cozy and welcoming--no-frills décor, but thoughtfully laid out with a nice mix of low tables, high tops, and a long, inviting bar. It was fairly empty at first but became more lively as people trickled in. The staff really stood out, especially our server Sarah, who was warm, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through both the food and cocktail options without rushing us. As an extra touch, Chef Steve came out to our table to chat and describe a few of the dishes, which made the experience feel personal. Food highlights: * Firecracker tofu - perfectly fried cubes tossed in a hot-sweet Korean-style sauce; addictive. * Grilled broccoli - smoky, well-seasoned * Butternut squash soup - smooth and flavorful, elevated by roasted, ground squash seeds and a subtle curry note. * Polenta with short ribs - rich and balanced. * Smoked bluefish pâté - excellent texture though a little salty for my taste. Drinks: * Also Fancy - bright and fruity, but not overly sweet. * St. Peter's Bay - think mezcal meets Old Fashioned. * Bonus points: I asked for a custom gin gimlet, and the bartender delivered a fresh, mint-forward version that was amazing. Tall Order is a great neighborhood spot that's doing everything right. We'll absolutely be back.

The interior was dimly lit with exposed brick walls and sports on the TV screens. For drinks, I chose the 1, 2, 3, 4 mocktail. This was one of the best mocktails of my life! The refreshing early grey really balanced out the tangy mango cold foam with tajin. They had a substantial non-alc and low ABV menu, which I love to see. For food, we ordered a bunch of plates to eat family-style. Our server had recommended the Pickled Mushrooms, which I thought were just alright. My favorite item was the Burrata with gooseberries, and the Caramelized Onion Dip was pretty good, as well. I was really unimpressed with the Fried Polenta, which had the skimpiest topping of braised short ribs. Service was good overall, but our drinks kept getting bussed before we were finished with them, which was unfortunate. Overall though, a good experience!

They have rotating specials all the time, but their regular menu is so good that I just can't move away. Their smash burger is fantastic, but their salads are nice and hefty, so even if you're trying to eat light, you leave full and satisfied. Caesar salads are simple and standard everywhere, but I'm always happy with the one I get from Murray's - well dressed with a yummy cheese crisp on top. Their wings are delicious, always come out piping hot, and have a creative array of sauces. The variety of fries are impressive too and all of them are delicious (though, when are fries really not delicious?!) My favorite thing about Murray's is the front outdoor seating area. When the weather is a bit cooler, they'll turn on the gas heaters, so you can have a comfortable meal and still enjoy some fresh air. But what makes it truly my favorite is that it's dog friendly! It's always so tough to find spots that allow dogs, but Murray's staff is always so kind to us when we bring our dog with us for dinner, and they'll even bring out a bowl of water for him. Good service comes from the top, and we've met John, who is incredibly nice and friendly. Conversations with him are consistently pleasant and we love that he's always open to sharing what he knows about food and drink! The staff also provides kind, speedy service, which we definitely appreciate. The only negative about Murray's is the fact that we only found them a year ago and hate that we didn't find out about them sooner!
