A small joint, but oh so good. I got the traditional margarita with jalapeño. The spicier the better. I was very happy. Then we started with the queso....so much flavor. I ordered the taco combination. Let me tell you...three tacos chicken, steak, and pork were AMAZING. The service was amazing. They were attentive and fast really great time. It isn't a big place, but it's clean super well lit, and not too loud. read more

Stopped in to La Hacienda for lunch with a friend and enjoyed it plenty! The waitress was so sweet and the service was fast and efficient. I ordered a passion fruit marg, a pupusa and fish tacos. The food was fantastic. The fish tacos were so filling that I only ate one! The margarita could've been a bit stronger but tasted great nonetheless. Overall everything was great. read more

I've been away from Massachusetts for a decade. I decided to stop in while I am here for the first time in 10 years. Same great food and same great, friendly atmosphere. The service was impeccable. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Went in around dinner time in the place was empty, so it was easy to get seated. It was somewhat clean and just plain. The food definitely was not the best. I ordered the fish tacos and they were extremely bland with no seasoning. The same goes for the salsa and the guacamole. The only thing that was good was the margarita. The waitresses were definitely trying to rush me and my other friend out. read more

Overall: this IS the place for that Latin American food you've been craving for in Boston. Just know the caveat is that the restaurant vibe itself might be a little downbeat. Food: their chips and salsa to start already catches your eye. Well blended chunky salsa with crispy not stale fried chips. Ordered a variety of things from flautas to fish tacos (massive) to fajitas, etc. the overall theme is that you're getting an absurd amount of food with incredible gobsmacking flavor at ridiculously low price point given the city. The tortilla texture is well done. The meats are cooked fried to the exact level you want. The veggies are loaded. You name it. Ambience/Decor/Service: the one thing holding this place back is that it gives off very much dive bar vibes. They entire restaurant could use a little touch up and quality of life improvements but again I totally understand given the context of East Boston and the history. read more

I love ordering from here. The shrimp tacos are the best I've had around this area. The food is always fresh and delicious. I've dined inside the Everett and East Boston locations. Fun Vibes! They also have music and karaoke some nights. The service is always friendly. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Cida for the past five years to the point that I have met of the holsters that got pregnant and had the babies and the kids as well but tonight I had such a horrible experience and when it came to the point that I am a female that has pediatric surgery and I couldn't eat more than what I ordered and when I asked to get a box to have a to go, they told me I couldn't have. Because he was a special deal than nobody let the table know in regards of that and then afterwards the hostess noticed how upset I was and brought me some boxes to take it to go, but that wasn't enough for me because after all the humiliation, it shouldn't be enough then. read more

Fajita was good. But the rice and beans did not have much flavor. The wings were great. Torta was also good but very salty

Very good food, excellent service and nice place ! Street parking easy. Loud music starts after 9pm. Lively.

I asked for a vegetarian quesadilla, comes with mushroom, green peppers and monteray jack cheese. Asked them if they can take out the mushrooms and just add extra green peppers. Instead, I get a quesadilla with BROCCOLI AND CARROTS!!! Like what ??? When did green peppers start sounding like broccoli and carrots- in any language ??? Second time I ordered from this place, second time they got it wrong. Not doing it a third time. read more

My father and I visited this restaurant and ordered the Ceviche, Man, he was ill and bed bound for two days due to food poisoning. The symptoms were so severe that he contemplated going to the hospital for pain management and counseling. Food poisoning, happens right? My father contacted them to let them know, and they did not take his concerns seriously; they didn't even answer the phone. The lack of professionalism and accountability is real. We also never heard back from them. I would avoid seafood and stick with the popular dishes just to be safe. read more

Nada recomendable este lugar. read more

Guys, if you're feeling some folklore you must check this place out. Family friendly place with a wide menu options. The ribs were amazing and we finished with a tres leches cake OMG! We went on Friday night and they had mariachi and Sunday's they have karaoke (: read more

I write my reviews under several pseudonyms to protect the review process.. The location is in the heart of Everett, MA. Easy parking, lot in the back, on-street metered parking. From the outside, the restaurant looked dark. It was a Friday, and the time was 9 pm. They have karaoke right alongside the people who are dining, which is something I've never encountered before. The noise level was so much that when talking to the person I brought along with me, we had to shout in each other's ears. The place is dark, so dark in fact with the loud music you wonder if its a restaurant or a club. I was met at the door by a man who showed us our table, there's no formal hostess, the waitress came over asked us for our drink orders, without asking if we even wanted water or not (something fairly common in restaurants). We ordered margaritas and I could see from where I was sitting that our waitress was the one who prepared our drinks. Also, something fairly uncommon. If she's making drinks, then who's tending the tables? Normally managers do this to cut costs. The menus are in a booklet, with photos, making the place feel like a Mexican Applebees. The food came out lukewarm, you can see a kitchen window, they ring a bell when your order is completed, similar to a diner scene in a shady movie. The plates are all just piled up, no order to how it's presented. You'd think I set up the plate myself at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The bathroom was at least clean, I noticed the man who sat me at my table sitting at the bar having drinks. The restaurant you can tell is poorly managed, lighting, presentation, the gimmicky karaoke, lack of real bartender, no hostess, the quality of the food, that all falls squarely on the management. The trouble with a place like this is they seem as though they've become complacent with their customers. Probably relying squarely on regulars to keep them afloat. The neighborhood of Everetts changing and if those who visit this spot move away, I'd be surprised if this place lasts through the next iteration of what the city is becoming. Restaurants such as Ole in Cambridge, La Barra in Union Sq, Somerville are much better options, and for my money, I'd rather stop by a Chipotle if they'd serve me a Corona. read more

The food's great! The atmosphere is great! And one of the servers, Maria, is always pleasant company!

I enjoy coming here, but the service and food could be a little bit better. I enjoy going to a few different mexican places and this is a smaller, not exactly your typical. It's hard to be critical when people are trying to get by with their business but we need to have great service and great food to deserve a full 5 stars. I'll return here and update my review if things become 5 stars, but right now it's 4 stars - good but not great. read more

Being from Texas I am wicked picky about my Mexican food. I found this place through Uber eats a few months ago and have ordered many times. Today I decided to eat in. Food is always fresh, always hot and has an amazing flavor profile. My favorite is the marinated pork tacos. I don't know what they do to the pork- they manage to load it with flavor, make it tender and then they seat it so that it is crispy on the outside and almost melts in your mouth. The nachos are also fabulous. They do the nachos individually so each chip has beans, meat and a ton of cheese. I've also had their enchiladas and chili rellanos; both of which are also wonderful. Their guacamole is made to order; even the small amounts that come with the nachos so it is always good. You can't go wrong here. Dining in, the staff is very friendly, the food comes quickly and the atmosphere is great. read more

I knew I should of left when I came in. It was empty except for a few people at the bar. I noticed a chair looked like. It got sprayed with sour cream. Very dark. The chips and salsa were okay. Salsa heavy on the onions. got the burrito which was so bland like they forgot to season it. They put lettuce in it and it was so wilted from being in a hot burrito it was gross. The worst part is my finance got food poising from here. He ate the carne asada. A few hours later he was in pain and dealing with a lot of gastrointestinal discomfort. I'm not surprised it didn't seem like many people go her the steak probably had gone bad and they didn't throw it away. read more
