    Birria Tacos

Randomly came across this place when looking for somewhere to get birria tacos. I did takeout and honestly was super happy with my meal. The tacos were juicy and the consommé was flavorful - exactly what I was looking for. The inside of the restaurant is bright and colorful but I've never dined in so can't comment on the service. The staff was friendly enough with my pickup order though. Overall very solid tacos (and I'm from SoCal so my standards are high). Would return to get them again.

We were here for taco Tuesday and boy this place did not disappoint. They had a live DJ spinning and the drinks flowing. Their menu has many options but this place is really known for the birria tacos, which were phenomenal. The queso dip was also really good. The only item we did not like were the pica pica wings, which were a little dry and lacked sauce. It gets pretty loud (and fun) so use your discretion. The service was attentive and top notch! Would definitely be back!

Experience 3/5 Overall the experience was okay. Personally, I would not travel outside of Boston for this restaurant since there are restaurants with similar vibes in Boston. However, it is a good option if you're in the area and want to go to a restaurant with loud music and flashing colored lights. It just seemed a bit odd to be dining with such loud club-like music and colored lights on a weekday at a restaurant outside of the city that was mostly empty. Service was fine. Food 3/5 Food was fine, but not spectacular. I initially came here because it looked good, however it appears as though the food looks better in pictures and on tiktok than its actual tastes. Pretty average food and average taste considering this spot has Boston prices.

Second time I've ordered from here and I've really wanted it to be better. The takeout service was friendly and relatively quick. I ordered pupusas, horchata, chicken tacos and birria French fries for a group. Pupusas were genuinely really good and super hot and fresh. Horchata was not very good and was pretty bland. Chicken tacos were mediocre at best and lacked flavor. Birria French fries were the biggest disappointment. From the time I left Estefanis and got to my home nearby, the avocados in the guacamole had browned on top of the fries. I never checked to see if it was brown to start, I'm just assuming that's what happened. French fries were soggy. When I hear birria I think moist gravy with the tender meat. This was pretty much just regular meat on top of the French fries without everything that makes birria- birria. Over all the food came to 36 dollars and I sadly felt like the majority of it (really everything besides the Pupusas) was a waste of money. The inside has such potential! There are tasty drinks advertised on the wall and a dining area with lights that seems like it could easily be used for dancing. The creative menu, drink selection and ambiance all seem great! I just wish the food quality delivered what it promises.

We came on a Monday night and the place was pretty quiet. We were 1 of 3 parties there. The servers were just hanging by a table. It was sometimes hard to get their attention when we needed something extra but they came when we needed to order and get the check. The birria tacos are SO GOOD HERE. the soup that comes with it is so good. We also got the quesadillas which were very similar to the birria tacos but more cheesy so I would say opt for one of the other. I wouldn't get the corn again as it wasn't sweet and didn't have the elite flavor.

Gave this place a try after hearing so many good things about the birria tacos and I was so disappointed. The meat was super fatty and only the outer shell was fried so the tacos were a bit soggy. The carne asada fries were also super disappointing. The fries were so thin and cold. The margaritas were very sugary so I had to constantly mix them just to drink it. The restaurant is not bad inside. They have a bar, plenty of seating, and flashing LED lights. Do not come after 7pm for a date. They have a live DJ which is cool but the music gets so loud you can barely have a conversation. The service wasn't terrible, but if you don't ask for water or napkins you won't get it. Parking is not great. There's a ton of one hour parking, but if you get lucky you can find a spot across the street. I'd say save yourself the drive and get birria tacos in east Boston instead.

Birria Tacos - Three beef empanadas with golden, crispy crusts are arranged on a white rectangular plate. A small bowl of spicy, broth-based soup with vegetables and herbs is placed above the empanadas, accompanied by a lime wedge. The presentation is on a dark wooden table, with utensils wrapped in a napkin nearby.

Estefani's offers many Mexican, Salvadoran, and Guatemalan specialties and the owner is Guatemalan and Salvadoran. It's definitely a popular restaurant--my friends and I went around 5 on a Monday and by the time we left, it was packed. The food is very good; the drinks and service are not. Our server, while somewhat friendly, was completely clueless. We had long waits for service and he couldn't answer basic menu questions, such as what type of margaritas come on the flight. He also couldn't understand that we wanted to split what we ordered. He also couldn't understand that two of us were doing separate to-go orders to take home to our families. It was just not good. We each ordered a margarita flight. The margaritas are very strong, but they are super sweet and from mixes. I had a headache after the first sip. None of us finished our flights, which is extremely unlike us. The woman at the next table actually sent her drink back. The food was great. We ordered maduros, birria tacos, yuca con chicharron, and garnachas Guatemaltecas. I don't eat maduros, so I can't comment on those. The yuca con chicharron was tasty, but the menu states that it comes with cabbage salad, so I was expecting either cabbage or curtido; neither ever appeared, and I knew it was pointless to ask the server. The chicharron was crisp and the yuca was perfectly cooked. I'd never had garnachas before but they were so delicious (think mini, crispy sopes) and I could eat a plate of those anytime. Birria tacos were excellent and the consomme was rich. I thought the chips and salsa were a bit bland. I got chicken enchiladas to-go for my dad and stepmother and I tried the beans and chicken, which were great. It's pretty inside, but in using the restroom, we found that the toilets were extremely low. Like, uncomfortably so, and I've never experienced anything like that. So weird and inaccessible. Unless you were looking for something you can't easily find elsewhere, such as birria tacos and garnachas Guatemaltecas, Estefani's probably isn't worth a drive or special trip. But if you live nearby, I'd highly recommend takeout (definitely do not eat inside, especially as a fight almost broke out at the tables next to us) and I look forward to getting takeout next time I am in town.

Everything was great! The waitresses were so very kind. It was my friends birthday and they all sang to him and were so nice to all of us. Very nice experience

So much I can say about Estefanis Restaurant in Lynn! The atmosphere is always 10/10 Whether it's going out for drinks and apps or just going out for a nice dinner Estefanis is where it's at! The service is always top tier and when the owner is there she always pops in to make sure you're enjoying everything that's always a plus definitely recommend if you're in the area. The drinks are TOPP TIER my personal favorite is the Mexican lolipop shot 10/10

What a FUN place with GREAT food! I LOVE the fajitas...and the drinks are to die for. Try a margarita flight. You get to choose from like 9 flavors!! Yummm!! The owners are often here and are so nice and want you to have fun. Come & practice your Spanish, try some authentic (not chain restaurant) food & have a drink. The music is always lively. And they have a great brunch with a mimosa tower! I'm going to keep coming back over and over again!

This was definitely worth drive if you're in the north shore area! We ordered on a Friday night for take out and was quoted 20 minutes-- we ended up arriving in 30 minutes or so and didn't have to wait too much. The front staff was super slow considering the restaurant wasn't too busy. We over ordered, but we do not regret it. We ordered the following: -Birria Tacos ($14) -Chicken Burrito ($9) -Elotes Locos Spicy ($8.75) -2 Pupusas- chicharron y queso ($5.50) -Tortas- torta de pollo ($9.50) -Yucca fries ($5.50) This was the first birria tacos we've ever had and it was delicious! They were a little stingy with the dipping sauce, but it got the job done. The chicken burrito was ginormous and super flavorful.. It had it all. The spicy elotes were way too over cooked and a waste of $9. We could barely finish one out of the two because it was super mushy and it lacked its characteristic sweet taste. The pupusas were good, but we've had better. The tortas was super soggy and wasn't as enjoyable if it was fresh or packaged differently. Lastly the yucca fries were a huge hit!! We wished they were sliced a little thiner but still super yummy. We ended up throwing them in the air fryer when we got home since they were a bit soggy and it was a hit!! Overall, this was a delicious meal!! We would highly recommend this place if you're in the north shore area. Is it worth the drive from south shore or Boston? Probably not. There is not parking lot. Only off street parking in a busy area.

Guacamole, barely. - A small, white disposable cup contains a portion of guacamole with a green color and chunky texture, placed on a light-colored marble surface. In the background, there is a white napkin or paper, partially visible. The image appears to be taken in a casual dining or takeout setting.

This much guac was $8. It's barely 2 bites. I also got the smallest flan for $6.50. Everything was super expensive and just not good enough. $8 por la porción más pequeña posible de guacamole. $6.50 por un flan igual de diminuto. Super caro y no muy bueno.

Birria options are some of the best in Mass. Perfect place for a casual night out with their drinks and music.

Made a pit stop on Saturday night at Lazy Dog Sports Bar, which is located in Wyoma Square, Lynn…read more We have never been but have heard a lot of good things about steak tips and chicken.....two of our favorites. Upon entry, we saw a busy bar scene....football games on the tv's and lots of people chatting and having a good time. The dining room, which is located just off the bar area, was kind of small, but was perfect size for the crowd! We were seated rather quickly and given menu's and drinks! We quickly found out Lazy Dog was a family-locals bar, which is a good thing! The vibe was everyone kind of knowing each other and enjoying the food, company and drink. We ordered and the food came rather quickly. We had the caesar salad with grilled veggies and the chicken breast dinner with fries. Both were brought out with hefty amounts on the plates. All the food was great tasting. I had a small dinner salad, which was fresh and perfect size. The chicken I had was tasty, cooked perfectly and plenty. The caesar salad was fresh, as well and we raved about the grilled veggies that came along with it. I wish I ordered the baked beans....but I didn't! I plan to when I return. There is nothing like baked beans and dinner! We wish we could have hung around for the music, but they did not set up in time for us to watch them play. Again, it seemed like a lot of patrons were waiting for the music because they have heard them before....which is great for local, neighborhood places. FYI, entry is in the back. Also, parking is easiest around the back.
