I wish…read morethey had a soup on their menu, The service is really good, so is the popover bread they start you off with. Get the bolognese, it's awesome. The lump crab, has a lot of potential, but my dish had way too much pasta water. It watered down all the flavor minus a little bit of the spice from the chili butter. The mushroom pasta was solid, I think it would've been better if we kept it with the gnocchi. The salads are dressed perfectly, and it's nice you can order it as a half portion. If you add a protein with a half portion, it can make it a pretty pricey salad.

The restaurant doesn't look very big, but it definitely handles a lot of people. It was busy when we walked in but we were seated immediately (you seat yourself at any clean table and a server brings menus right away). We ordered coffees and waters then perused the menu, which is full of wonderful sounding options. I landed on the hash benedict and he got an omelet. We also ordered a blueberry pancake to share. My eggs were *perfectly* poached and the hollandaise was incredible. His omelet was full of meat. The home fries crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The pancake was MASSIVE and full of berries. Service was immaculate. 100/10 will return

I have no issue spending $$$$ on good food in fact my wife and I would bring her father and found $300 plus steaks drinks spots and dessert so that's not the issue. it all started to do downhill when they put in the "sports" bar. They seemed to forget their old clients who had money and would spend and went for the "hip" market. many if my friends now refuse to go there as it is a confused atmosphere and the menu changes a bit, dropped steaks and several dishes, cut the double burger to a single, same price and kind of dropped the quality in general. The staff is great but they can only work with what they have. I feel really sorry but maybe this post will motivate them to get back on track. before the bar it was a unique local place that had outstanding food now it's just like any other cookie cutter Italian bar. So sorry but I will not return and many of my friends I sent there agree. Who ever suggested the hip bar thing really did them a disservice.

I made reservations to be seated out in the patio which was very cool as we were seating right by the window so we had a nice view and the patio had a nice cool vibe, casual but intimate, perfect for a summer night. Our server was Angelina, she was so sweet & pleasant. We both ordered a cocktail & both choice the minestrone soup as our appetizer ( it was DELICIOUS, served piping hot and a perfect starter)! I chose the Chef's Haddock , gf chose the Orecchiette pasta, both entrees were cooked perfectly, I ate all of mine, gf had to take most of hers home (which was fine with me so I could eat it the next day for lunch)! We truly enjoyed everything about Scopa and we will definitely be back soon & keep Scopa on our " Great Date Night Dinner List"!

The oysters were delicious, and the crab cake was probably my favorite of the starters. The meatball was interesting. It had pork and ground beef and was quite gamey, but it lacked the flavor I was expecting. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo. Unfortunately, the chicken cutlet was pretty bland, and overall, the dish was just okay. I've definitely had better Italian meals. There were a few highlights, but overall, Scopa just didn't leave the impression I was hoping for on my first visit. Maybe I didn't order the right dishes, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be rushing back.

It was very loud so it was tough to catch up with friends but it made me so happy to see such a big turnout for such an important cause! We're already planning another dinner here soon!
