Recently used Bobby C's to host a post funeral luncheon after our mothers death. Would absolutely recommend Bobby C's. As they do not open for dinner until later in the day, we had the entire restaurant for our group of about 80 people. Owner Julie and all of the staff were very pleasant to work with and very thoughtful to our group. The food and presentation were great, and the cost was very reasonable. I love this place!! Stopped here twice in the last week for a quick drink. Bobby C's has the best seasonal cocktail menu and this seasons had some incredible fall drinks and a fun Taylor Swift drink. 5 star service. Staff and waitress were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has an older traditional semi upscale vibe. They also have outdoor seating which is more casual. The food was mediocre which locked in the 3 stars. My husband found it strange that the ossobuco came with gravy as opposed to red sauce. Also to note my chicken parm was also really dry. I would probably come back out of convenience but wouldn't go out of my way to dine here. read more

My wife and I had dinner here last night. We were greeted and seated right away. Very bright, clean restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Parm, and my wife ordered the Chicken Piccata. We both thought the food was excellent. The wine and beer list i thought was a bit pricey, and we had a bit of a wait trying to pay the bill. What a nice place! Incredibly friendly host/owner and server. Creative cocktails. Amazing Arancini. Pasta fagioli! Outrageously good entrees. Came here on a Friday night with family on a recommendation. We were seated right away. The bread and oil given at the beginning of the meal was AMAZING I will be back just for that alone. The Caprese pizza was amazing! The crust on the edges appears very thick but it's quite thin in the center. The edges were crispy but the center was quite soggy. The taste was delicious tho. The complementary bread was good and it came with a delicious side of oil with garlic. We dipped the pizza in this oil and it was delicious!!! Highly recommend this combo! The calamari was also great. The portion was good for its price and it came with sauces. The cacciatore was a bit disappointing because the sauce was overwhelming. Had a great dinner with my family on Sunday. Our waiter Kolby was great and was on top of things considering we were a big party of 15. I had not been here since I had my bridal shower here 15 years ago. The spring fling was a delicious cocktail to start. strong, sweet and fruity with a hint of mint. My MIL had a crème brûlée martini which looked so good. The calamari were a little on the chewy side, but the mussels made up for it. My dad loves mussels and he kept saying how big and plump they were. I had Caesar salad which had a nice thick dressing and huge garlic croutons. Had the Parmignana Pizza. It was very good. Nice amount of cutlets and a good chewy crust. Desserts, I had a bite of my dad's Tiramisu which was yummy, a lot of whip cream on the plate. I also had a bite of my sisters chocolate lava cake. That was So decadent and rich. Everyone either finished their meal or took home leftovers. Besides the calamari everything was wonderful. If I could give more stars, I would!! My dad recently passed so after my dad's services, we decided to celebrate my his life at Bobby C's. I absolutely could not ask for a better experience!! Staff was very accommodating. They made sure all of our needs were met and did this without being overbearing. Food-excellent!! We opted for baked haddock, DELICIOUS butternut squash raviolis, chicken piccata, cheese tray, very fresh bread and dipping oil and drinks. Espresso and chocolate martinis were bomb!!! We had mini cannolis for dessert and these are made in house and delicious. What I liked best about them is that they were not overly sweet. It was a perfect amount of sweetness. Owner Julie Crowley came over and greeted all of us with a smile and empathy. She made a very difficult time so much better. I don't know what else I can say about this establishment!! Friday night we tried Bobby C's and were amazed at how good it was!! It's a perfect spot for a date night. The lights were dimmed just right and we were in a booth where we didn't really notice anyone else around us even though the place was full. I started with the crème brûlée martini. I'm not really a martini drinker but this was out of this world so I got 2!! We got the arancini as an app. It's on the specials menu. I really hope it becomes a staple because it was delicious!! I then got the marry me chicken as an entree, it was delicious!! It's in a creamy tomato sauce. I highly recommend!! It too was on the specials menu. We got the butternut squash raviolis as well, they too were great!! Portions were perfect, we had enough for leftovers. We ended our dinner with the cheesecake. It had a strawberry puree drizzle. Super yummy!! Our server was Alida (sorry if I butchered her name) she was so nice and made us feel at home. We also met the owner who came over and chatted with us as well. Came on a busy Friday night - without reservations they sat us fairly quickly. Staff was very nice and they have an awesome valentines cocktail menu drink right now (i did notice they had the "Pink Drink" on there twice - whoopsies) Food was sooooo good, from the mushroom apps to the scallops with two sides (which I got to try the pasta) it made me so happy to have good food at a fair price. The down size was got a lil bamboozled on the pork chops. Was told it came with two sides and the waitress advised we try with the roasted potatoes only to find out it already came with roasted potatoes so only got 1 side out of 2. The cool thing about this place is they have a dessert tray they show you! We did not get a showing maybe because we didn't get espresso but I thought it was so cool and old school of them to provide this extra touch. If I wasn't so full I would have gotten the cheesecake. The owner was going around decorating the place to look so dang cute with valentines decor. Parking was outside their lot - maybe we just got lucky but there seems to me availability. Last night my husband and I went out for Valentine's Day. We went on Wednesday because that was the only day we could be kid free . We have been going to Bobby C's for date night which is once a while when we can and we love it there but last night left a bad taste in our mouths. We walk in and a gentlemen asked if we had reservations we said no because we never ever had to in the years we have been going there . Well the moment we said no he walked away from us . My husband and I just stood there looking at each other . Another young girl asked if we had a reservation I said no she said ok do you want to sit at the bar ? We said ok because clearly we needed a reservation to sit anywhere else. We got there at a little before 5 pm . Place was still empty . They were having "Galentines Day" at some point during the evening . Ok we sit at the bar order drinks and our meal. The bar tender was awesome he served us before we love him . Now fast forward there I am with my mouth full of pasta the same young girl who told us to sit at the bar asked me and my husband to move down a seat so another couple could sit at the bar mind you there was a young woman sitting alone at the end of the bar just drinking a glass of wine who could have moved closer to me to allow the couple to have seats. But no move me and my husband food and all over . At that point I was angry and wanted leave . I was looking forward to dessert and another drink again it was our Valentine's Day dinner . But I was beyond annoyed that I had to be disturbed while eating instead of the "friend" of the girl who was behind the bar that was making her and her "friend" drinks . Only after my face said I was not happy did we get acknowledged by the young woman behind the bar . The bartender(the nice gentleman) asked if we wanted anything else a dessert ? 14 years and about 30 lbs later ahem, Bobby C's is still where it's at. The hours have changed a bit, 4 pm on, but the deliciousness hasn't changed at all, and it's even better. There's something to be said about a place that makes it through covid, it shows that people cared enough to come out and commit to the take out only era, and Julie, Jenna, Paul and Paul Jr made sure you knew how appreciated they were. I am updating this because YELP has a category for outside dining and this place hands down has one of the nicest set ups outside out of any restaurant in the entire Boston area. We just recently started going here. The food is delicious. All of the martinis are great. We love the espresso martini! If you are a Taylor Swift fan like myself, a lot of the drinks on the menu are named after her songs. Get the Lover Martini you won't be disappointed! Julie the owner is awesome ! She really cares about her staff and the food that comes out of the kitchen. She always goes above and beyond and she always stops to check on everyone at the tables. Visited Bobby C's to try out their brunch buffet based on a recommendation. The options of food served in the buffet was fine and nothing exceptional to mention. I thought the ham and steak carving stations were good. Also, the live omelette and waffle stations were good as well. What disappointed me were the dessert station. As delicious as all of it looked, they were dry and lacked the freshness. Coffee was served at the table but there were options of orange and one another juice by the buffet table. The food was worth the price for sure but did not stand up in flavor for me. I am willing to try this place again. read more

Been here many times and long overdue to write a review. It feels like home walking in. The atmosphere and music are coming. I always try to get something different. Recently went with my 21 year old daughter. She got the chicken marsala which she said reminded her of the one I make. I tried it and it was very good. That did not stop her from going table to table to make sure everyone was good. Other than the fantastic meals that kitchen puts outs out, the staff and owner is always available to make sure you have the best dinning experience. Tonight on our table was Chicken Marsala, which was unbelievable and amount that was served I will be eating for the next couple days. Lobster Ravs and Baked Scallops. We loved it all. Another exception meal by owners Paul and his beautiful wife, Julie. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the haddock was moist and delicious. The handmade cavatelli we're cooked to a true Italian's liking. My amazing martini was yet another one from the extensive, yet diverse list of artisan beverages. Their bartenders are truly some of the best north of Boston. This is my go-to on Friday nights after a long work week because I know the food and service will be consistent and to the high standards, most of us expect, from a restaurant of this caliber.
