The sun-dried tomato ricotta ravioli were both "piquant" and "bangin."…read more The ravioli were rolled out, cut, filled, and sealed right in front of me. The pillowy little pockets didn't even need sauce (I ate one plain like a toddler). Nothing against the sauce: it's a celebration of the tomato, bright and smooth. I also got to watch the master (Bivona) at work. It was like what I imagine witnessing the efforts of a Renaissance sculptor to be like. It was also fun and educational watching him guide customers and give them a tour of the day's pasta shapes. For me, one of the best marks of quality is when you can look at the pasta and see the texture. You know that means your sauce is going to cover all that surface area, that will adhere brilliantly to your noods. The Cannookie (chocolate chip cookies sandwiching cannoli cream) was way more delicious than it had any right to be. I'm not going to ever have one again on principle because it sounds like a racial slur for Canadians, but that doesn't change the fact that it was outstanding. The meatballs, were all beef, I think, so it's pretty impressive how light and tender they were--beefy too.

I have honestly never had truly fresh pasta straight from a pasta shop before, and I can't believe…read morewhat I've been missing! The owner was absolutely amazing--so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He took the time to explain his techniques and even showed me how he cuts the fresh pasta right there in the shop, depending on whatever style you want. I was especially impressed with his gluten-free pasta. I have family members who are gluten-free--or try to eat gluten-free--so finding a place that actually takes the time to explain their gluten-free options was a huge plus for me. Of course, I ended up buying way too much stuff , including some of his prepared meals from the freezer. I tried the chicken cacciatore, and WOW. Even though it came frozen, once I baked it, it tasted like something I had just made fresh at home. The chicken was delicious and that sauce was ON POINT! And then, as if I hadn't already bought enough, he sent me home with a couple of samples of his fresh cannolis. You really can't go wrong with that! Such a great little find. Fresh pasta, great food, and an owner who clearly takes pride in what he does. I'll definitely be back!

They also host awesome pasta-making classes and pastry-making classes too! Everyone here is so friendly. I recently came here to order fresh pasta for a luncheon I was hosting. Adam listened to how many guests I was having, what their preferences generally were, and how many courses I wanted to have, and he helped me pick the perfect things for the party. He suggested and I went with a pound of fresh fettucine made that morning--it was a colossal hit! We also used fresh vodka sauce that he made at the store, and we took some gluten free ravioli and frozen goods for later. It's kind of rare to find pasta houses like this where you can plan basically any Italian meal. Don't miss it!

They absolutely make the best pasta and ravioli I have ever had in the US! I do not cook often, so…read morethe fact that I cam stop in, grab fresh sauces, and fresh pasta or ravioli, and "cook" them in minutes to have what tastes like a homemade fresh meal is just the best thing ever! Is it cheap? No! Is it worth it? Absolutely! You will never want boxed pasta from your local grocery store ever again. They also now have desserts and I loved the personal size fruit tart, and oh the to go with your coffee in the morning is a must try! The fillings of the ravioli change with the seasons, and the lemon in the summer and the truffle are amazing when it's truffle season! I literally did not even think I liked truffle until I tried this ravioli, and then I realized it was the fake truffle oil that restaurants put on truffle fries that I hated the smell of, which is nothing at all like the actual taste and scent of a real truffle that is not overpowering or stinky. Lol The owners are the sweetest and are always present, and I am so proud to see how many places are now using their pasta for their dishes. The space is clean, and I am so excited that they are actually opening a second location in Glastonbury! I can't say enough good things so if you haven't given them a try yet, add it to your must do list!

A beautiful family owned pasta shop in the heart of West Hartfords bustling restaurant lane. I picked up a box of their fresh spaghetti, and spring ravioli; Lemon Ricotta Ravioli and Spinach Ricotta Ravioli. I was greeted by Ana, the owner and we chatted about her new location opening up in Glastonbury, CT. If you love fresh homemade Italian pasta and or have never enjoyed this specialty before-- give it a try!
