Again, as she asked if it was ok, she started walking away. I told her it was adequate. A good waitress would have asked if I'd rather have something else. I was craving something hearty and healthy so naturally, I went for the pearly bowl which originally comes with couscous, roasted cauliflower, golden raisins (trust me these add THEEEE touch), pickled red onions (YUM), tahini sauce, avocado, and a lemon-mint vinaigrette - THISSSSSS. I ended up substituting the couscous for quinoa which was perfect for the type of meal I wanted before traveling. Can we talk about that lemon-mint vinaigrette? It's perfectly green and brings the whole bowl together, SO GOOD. Wish I would've gotten a whole side of that. Ordering delivery through Yelp is so easy thanks to DoorDash and I was so thankful I didn't have to be stuck eating chips and m&ms - love these but I needed a little something more. Next time you're taking a flight from Newburgh airport be sure to get delivery from Ms Fairfax. Can't wait to try their crepes and green goddess wrap from their breakfast and lunch menu!

They also have a cute table in the front outside as well. I sat in the backyard while I waited for my friend to arrive. The establishment has a chill summer vibe. All the staff were friendly & attentive. The special was the red snapper & OMG, they need to just put it on the menu! It was delicious, fried to perfection & had alot of meat. I am not a hummus fan but the appetizer my friend orderd-the hummus was tasty.

If you're driving by you might miss it as it looks only like a house. There isn't a big sign so you might not realize it's a business. There's lots of drinks and snacks to choose from like chips and danishes. Everything looked clean, no visible dust and it was well organized. Lady at the counter, during my first visit was an absolute sweetheart. She told me about the lunch and dinner plates they serve and it intrigued me to come back. At my second visit, I received the same great service from her. I called in to place my dinner plate order. I waited about 45-50 minutes but, let me tell you it was AMAZING!! Everything is cooked fresh when you order so expect a wait. Calling in your order is highly recommended. To tell you the truth, If I had to wait 2 hrs it would still be worth it. When I tell you that was the best Mac I've had thus far, in all my life, at any establishment! I desired more for sure. Maybe I'll ask if they'd consider making a tray someday heehee The food was hot, straight off the stove, perfectly seasoned and not to mention it smelled so delicious. Mac was velvety and idk how to describe it. It was delicious and you MUST try it for yourself! Collards were perfectly cooked and had nice chunks of moist turkey and the fish was tender and flaky. 5 pieces of fish!! Can you believe that?! I was expecting, maybe 3 pieces so that was a REALLY nice surprise. I ate twice out of this dinner plate. I went in June and can't remember exactly how much I paid. Twenty something I believe. Worth every cent. Btw, don't forget to try the Banana Pudding!! I'm allergic to bananas so all I had was a little taste. I couldn't get in it the way I wish I could. But, it was really good too!

The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The servers know the menu well and are happy to make recommendations, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of our favorite times to visit is for their weekend brunch buffet, which offers a great variety of options. During the week, their Happy Hour (4-7 PM) is another favorite, especially the $1 oysters. It gets busy, so I definitely recommend arriving early. Just keep in mind that Happy Hour is available only in the bar and lounge area. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot shared with the neighboring restaurant, and offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the river during the warmer months. The patio closes for the winter, but it's one of the best places to dine when the weather is nice. They also have a kids' menu, although my 6-year-old usually orders from the regular menu because she has a very adventurous palate. If you're looking for great seafood, excellent service, gorgeous waterfront views, and one of the best dining experiences in Newburgh, Blu Pointe is an easy recommendation. We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.
