Disappointing. Their work is fine but while they were working on the car, they broke something unrelated. Once they determined it's something they couldn't fix on-site, they gave me a lead on a vendor and sent me on my way to address the issue on my own time and at my own expense. 2014 - 2016 Went to this mechanic on a recommendation. They are nice, and will help with little things like replace a headlight for no charge. But they're way too expensive for the lack of knowledge they have. Over the phone a friend diagnosed that my fuel pump needed to be replaced. Olive Auto didn't think so, and I spent $700 as they kept mis-diagnosing the problem. Then they said I needed a new fuel pump. Which is close to $1,000 repair alone. 5 yrs later I have to get another fuel pump. After market fuel pumps usually crap out. These guys are nice, the service they have the knowledge to offer is worth half of what they charge. Response to Bobby's comment: This review isn't nebulous, it's very specific. A fuel pump should last around 100,000 miles. But the life of a part was not the point of my review: it was the depth of knowledge was not sufficient for the price you charge. read more

AVOID - I can not recommend anyone brings their vehicle here as we will never be returning. Have had them doing our last several oil changes. When I got around to changing it myself I found that our filter housing was damaged and I was unable to loosen it because it was in so tight. A trip to the dealer later I found out that the housing had been held in place with some type of adhesive. On top of that I found out they are charging more than the dealership for an oil change. They've done a good jobs with work out our brakes but pulled a bait and switch with the price. Long story short they can't be trusted and might even cause a new problem. read more

Took my 2015 Mazda 6 in for a wheel noise and an oil change, they said it took 2 hrs to figure out that the noise was comming from loose wheel nuts, they wasted a lot of time test driving instead of just putting the car up on a rack where it would have saved a lot of time and would have made it much easier to see . So the bill was 470 dollars for 2 new wheel nuts , 5 Qts of oil , a new filter and checked for any coolant leaks . I am retired and can"t afford the high labor rates of this shop @ (180/hr) ! read more

My 2005 Ford Five Hundred Sedan had been running sluggish and hadn't been serviced in several years due to the pandemic. I brought it into Olive Auto Center for an inspection and oil change, and they were able to identify and repair several issues with the engine and the front wheel control arms. Bobbi was friendly, accommodating, and able to give me a quoted estimate for the repairs a few hours after I brought my car in. Bobbi was also able to meet me halfway with regard to my repair budget and was fair and knowledgable in his estimates of parts and labor. Staff and Bobby were very knowledgeable and friendly. I really feel that Bobby went above and beyond for me. I've been having a constant issue with my check engine light coming on about every 6 months, even though I've taken it in to multiple mechanics for regular maintenance, every time the light comes back on. Not only was Bobby and his team able to get to the bottom of that, he found multiple other issues with with my vehicle that were overlooked by other places. He and his staff showed me the issues, and I felt very comfortable with what was going on. I'm a young lady, so I feel many other mechanics may have taken advantage of my lack of car skills and no one has actually showed me the physical problems with my car. I've also been told by mechanics that the issue has been fixed, when it clearly has not. This means that I had a lot more repairs to preform on my car than expected, and more money that I needed to put into my car than expected. But Bobby was sympathetic and nice to me about it, he really went out of his way to help me. He even went so far as requesting me to send him the paperwork to what other places (such as the dealership) has done to make sure no stone is left unturned. And WOW did my car run GREAT.
