I ordered a Italian Grinder Panini from Olive and Ivy. I enjoyed this sandwich very much. The bread was crisp and the inside fillings were not piping hot where you had to wait several minutes before biting into the Panini sandwich. This is important at the airport when you're pressed for time. There filling of salami, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese blended perfectly within the toasted sour dough bread. I'm with the woman who said she wishes she could fly through here more often so she could come to eat here. Normally airport and salad are not two words that are very exciting, especially together. But this was a very well conceived delicious salad. I had a Mediterranean, with feta cheese crumbles, almonds, very fresh spring mix, couscous, tomatoes and cucumbers. I ate every last morsel. I was a little disappointed to see that many of the photos uploaded by the restaurant were not options for breakfast (i.e. eggs Benedict, pancakes, etc...). It's not a huge deal, but I assume those or professional photos from their other location which is a bit misleading. I ended up with the O&I Breakfast sandwich. It was your standard sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin, but they add a tomato to make it fancy. The restaurant in Scottsdale is more upscale but we were hoping for a transfer of quality. They serve meals all day and have limited seating. There is also a long community table for lone diners or people watchers. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered an Italian sandwich with potato salad. Our ordered items came out 15 minutes apart from each other. Both of these sandwiches are toasted in their brick oven. The bread on both taste fresh but that is were it stopped for the Italian sandwich. It was loaded with meat but super bland. I was looking for it to have some kind of Italian spice flavor but instead the only taste that came through was turkey and ham.
