I was able to find TWO dresses that I absolutely loved, which I guess is a good problem to have, but such a difficult choice. Jennifer, my consultant, was super sweet and personable. I felt like she really helped me narrow down my style and find the perfect dress. Would highly reccomend working with her when you go here. One thing to consider... they do have a % fee (believe 3 or 4%) for using a credit/debit card in this store. They do have options for Zelle or cash with no fee. I had SUCH a wonderful experience at Olive & Ivory. I was so incredibly indecisive and dress shopping had been very overwhelming as I had already been to 3 other appointments at other shops, until I came to Olive & Ivory. Stacy was my stylist and was such a joy to work with. I felt so listened to the entire time and never once felt pressured to make a decision. I picked a dress out of exhaustion and pressure from family and immediately woke up the next morning in a panic that I picked the wrong dress. I texted Stacy how I was feeling and she got me in the same day to help find a solution. Very luckily for me, they hadn't placed the order for the dress I did not want anymore so I was able to try on more dresses. Stacy helped me find the PERFECT dress and completely put my mind at ease. I found my dress here after having a poor experience at another bridal shop. We worked with Stacy who picked dresses that had everything I was looking for. I take one star off because we went significantly over budget. We didn't find out til the end of our visit after I had picked a dress that there was an 18% tariff which equated to close to $400. If you pay with a credit card tack on another 3%, but they offer other ways of payment to avoid the credit card fee which was helpful. This was the first store I went to for wedding dress shopping. I had no idea where to begin and my consultant Shay walked me through several different styles to get an idea of what I wanted. I told her what vibe I was envisioning and she brought out a "wildcard" option at the end. When I saw it on the rack, I almost didn't even want to try it on, but when I did, it was magical. I didn't end up going with that dress, but it set the tone and informed me of the exact style i wanted. All thanks to her skill and vision. I was nervous and worried with me being a curvier woman and having a pretty strict budget. When I got with my consultant Jennifer, she asked all the right questions to see where we should start on our journey together and with every dress, she pulled she absolutely nailed it. If you are looking for a wedding dress in the Sacramento area, this is it!! Olive and Ivory is the lower budget sister of Bride to Be Couture, down the street. I cannot recommend these "sisters" more! My budget was in the sweet spot where I could afford Olive and Ivory, and some of the gowns from Bride to Be. I went to Olive and Ivory first, and Jennifer was amazing! She had pulled some dresses based on my questionnaire and listened about what I liked and disliked. She disclosed the price and coloring options before I even tried them on, was fully transparent about shipping times. She spent 2.5 hours with me for my first appointment, and brought the dress from Olive and Ivory over to Bride to Be so I could compare some other options I was interested in. I found my dress, as it was originally Olive and Ivory! I booked an appointment for the next day to do my final "pick" with my friends, and she was so patient! Even helping me choose the color of the dress with different linings, etc. One thing to note: THEY ARE NOT COMMISSIONED BASED!! So they don't push you outside of your budget comfort zone! You don't feel the pressure to buy too high! The stylists are tipped once you purchase a dress, so you get to show your appreciation that way! Even their alterations manager took time to explain sizing and alterations and easy adjustments to be made! DO NOT bother with those "fancy" stores downtown.. Olive & Ivory was a saving grace, I had been to a couple bridal shops before and it wasn't as great as an experience and didn't quite have what I was looking for. When I got to Olive and Ivory they seemed to have a vast selection of dresses, they had my name on a board as I came in (which was cute, warm, and inviting) and offered water. Jennifer was my stylist and she was very nice and gave me all the dress options I was looking for to the point it made it hard to choose, the one. But Jennifer was right there with me the whole time supporting the array of emotions I was experiencing until I finally decided.
