The gentleman that did my "standard pedicure" took his time and did a fantastic job. The shop is clean, excellent and service was great for the price. The pedi was okay, I informed the worker a couple times that she poked me quite a few times causing discomfort. Once we got to my hands, I showed a picture and things went completely downhill. I've been a regular customer for years and while they have some good techs, there are some bad ones and it's very annoying you book an appointment with one and get someone else. I booked an appt with Tran, who is wonderful, came in and got Henry, who is not. I got a pedicure and had to ask him to file my nails but he never touched them other than painting them. I am extremely disappointed to report, that after a year of loyalty to Olio Nails, that I need to move on to a new salon. My best friend and I went to get our nails done together, and we both wanted colors that specifically matched our dresses. My dress is a bright turquoise (more on the blue side), and I picked out a turquoise dip polish. Unfortunately, it didn't look exactly how I wanted (too green), and I requested to make it look more blue. The nail technician responded in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner, saying "I didn't pick the color for you, it's your fault for picking the wrong color." I was extremely put off by this response. Also, my friend wanted forest green, and the color she received was too light. She asked to do multiple coats to make it darker and closer to her desired shade, but the nail technician refused to comply. I was very upset with this unprofessional service. Also, the nail technician was very rough with the filing, trimming, and cuticle cutting, she seemed very careless and rushed. While I had a one-star experience today, I added an extra star to this review to reflect my past good experiences I've had at this location. I went to this establishment on June 20, 2025 as a walk in. I was greeted and asked to sign in on a device at the front desk. The wait time was about 30-40 minutes. The lady Tina finally came and got me to do a dipped powder with tip service. I really thought she knew what she was doing, because she the lady before me nails were nice. She started on my nails, But I did notice that she was rushing and kept looking up at the patrons that were coming. She started moving faster, as to get me finished. She may have taken 35-45 minutes or less to do my nails. I am not satisfied with my nails at all!!! They look more like stiletto nails, due to how sharp the look on the tips. I asked for almond shape!!! I am having to file the side of pinky, because it keep snagging on my clothes. I will start off by saying I don't get my nails done often. I wanted to go somewhere in my neighborhood and I received a coupon for 20% off my service. I wanted my existing set of gel nails removed and replaced with a full set of acrylic nails. I arrived when they opened and I was met with a nail tech who was not welcoming. She insisted on making me an appointment for 11am until I told her I wanted my nails and toes done. She was then very happy to get me in quickly. PROS: they have a lot of nail colors to choose from; easy check in for appointments CONS: the pedicure bowel was not lined with plastic (some of the salons do this for sanitation and safety reasons); the male nail tech was distracted with texting someone during my service; a gently used pumice stone from a drawer was used to buff my feet during my pedicure; I was told that the only thing the nail tech could do was cut my existing nails down, file off the gel polish and do an overlay of acrylic (I asked for a full set of new nails); should not advertise walk-ins welcomed if walk-ins are not your preference. Overall, this salon did not meet my expectations. I was hoping for a better experience after reading some of the most current reviews. read more

I usually enjoy going there and have always thought the staff to be quite friendly but I took my daughter there yesterday for a special treat before she headed back to college. Neither of us get pedicures often so this is a special treat for us. Both my daughter and I felt they were more interested in watching the football and not as attentive. I've been going here for about a year and it's easily one of my favorite nail salons. My favorite is the dip powder because it's your real nail and the dip makes it thicker so less likely to break. I switch it up and get gel every now and then. They have SO MANY colors to choose from in both gel and dip. I recently switched it up and got pink & white ombré for a wedding I'm going to be in. I haven't had acrylic in years. It's taken some getting used to with the length but the nail tech did amazing with the ombré! If you break a nail or it chips before you are due to go back, the typically fix it free of charge. Everyone here is so nice and pleasant. I recommend making an appointment because they stay busy! There was a promotional flyer that I received for 20%off services. I stated I wanted my old acrylic taken off but wanted gel or "no chip manicure ". John was my technician. He wrapped my nails etc. I liked the shape etc but my nails started to chip on several about 3 days afterwards and one actually cracked/ broke which hadn't happened in a couple of years where I had been going. However one thing that I really found helpful is they give you a printed receipt with your tech's name, service rendered and off course date. I thought that was a bonus; I had not seen in other nail salons which can keep the drama down because, oftentimes, owners want to blame the customer and want to charge again. I forgot and left my receipt in the car. I told him what happened and he examined my nails. I have the receipt if he wanted it- he said no and proceeded to take the polish off all and did my manicure all over. They look better than the first time. I've been going to this salon for two years. But when covid happened I stopped getting my nails done. I went in today to have a fill done. The lady did awful. Three nails have huge gaps, and two of which haven't been filled. I wish I would have noticed this prior to leaving. To top it off. The staff was super rude today. I made an appointment for 4:30, arrived around 4:25. was not greeted when I walked in, so I sat down and waited. the ladies who walked in after me were helped before I was spoken to. finally, about 15-20 minutes later, I was asked what I need, simply a gel manicure. they sat me down and put foil on my nails and then the man went to do someone else's nails. I sat for 30+ minutes with the acetone on my nails before finally taking the foil off myself to reveal that my skin was cracking from being so dry. I waited another 5-10 minutes before finally getting up and walking out. Don't go here! 2 star average rating is much too generous. My daughter and her friend got their nails done today. They chopped my daughters nails off thinking she was getting acrylics. When she told them no, they told her her nails were too short now for the Gel French tip she wanted. She suggested she get acrylics, my daughter told her now. Somewhere during this 45 minutes appointment, one of the 4 technicians that serviced her told my 14yr she should get her eyebrows done. My daughter was embarrassed. I understand they do eyebrows but really? So, her nails are cut so short they hurt. She didn't get the French tips she wanted. The color is all white. She was shuffled to 4 different stations/technician and then insulted. I called and then went in to get a refund. Sometimes you get the C team, mistakes happen and there are rude employees, it happens. I'm not one to write reviews or complain and they I probably wouldn't be writing this but the customer service I experienced was much worse than all the other mistakes. My daughters friend also got her nails done and they were not acceptable as well. The girls were embarrassed to go back, but I assured them it would be ok, just be honest. Big mistake. When I showed the Manager their nails and explained our concerns she was so rude. Another tech came over and started yelling at my daughters friend. Telling her her the color was correct. I had to repeatedly tell her the color is correct, it's the sloppiness and unevenness that is the problem. I had to tell her to speak to only me not her.
