I admit I am not a regular, so I was surprised that it was self serve. No matter I chose the original and was so disappointed. the bread didn't have the sweetness and the whole sandwich lacked the Olga flavor that used to distinguish it. Absolutely Mediocre, First the lady brings us a disgusting cup filled with butter and eggs or something like that when I asked for lemonade. Then she was absolutely rude about the hole time we were there. When we got are food it was very very mediocre. Nothing had flavor, and again the staff was very disrespectful. Olga's was nothing how I remembered. The Olga's original came wrapped on a wet pita; not a sweet flavour as I remembered. The lamb tasted old and bad. I hope I don't get food poisoning from it. Very disappointing food. Service was good. They've also done away with the basket of 4 seasonings, salt, pepper, garlic & cayenne. read more

When I go there I usually get a combo where you can get an Olga and two sides. They will let me get a large Peasant Soup for both sides which I think is nice. I really love it!! It's a very tasty mixed vegetable soup and comes with their snackers which are pieces of Olga bread fried and with a delicious coating on them. They also give some cheese to dip the snackers in. I wish they gave more of it, though because it's very good and I seem to run out quickly. I get my Olga without onions or tomatoes and ask for extra Olga sauce on the side. This makes for a good, not too expensive meal. This place is right near the mall entrance, so parking is close and easy. It's definitely worth a visit. read more

We normally go Downtown to the Golden Fleece for their original Gyro, but we wanted to try somewhere close to home. So my husband seem advertisement about Olga's Kitchen, so we thought we would try it. It's been several several years since coming to an Olga's Kitchen, and I'm not sure why we waited so long. It's close to home and in the Mall, so after or before shopping you can have a quick lunch or dinner. Brittney was our server, very attentive and she has a sweet personality. I ordered the Olga original with the zucchini fries. The zucchini fries were cooked to perfection and nice, crispy and thin. My husband had their original special which comes with the Olga original, curly fries, and a nice house salad, the dressing tasted like the Olive Garden Italian dressing. It was excellent. Their bread for the Olga original was soft, tasty and warm, fresh bake. I could probably just eat their bread alone, I will have to return to just order their bread. I highly recommend coming here for a quick lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed! Plus when you check in on Yelp, you get a free dessert with your meal, I'm saving mine for my next visit. read more

This location used to be pretty good but now we don't go there any more. The peasant soup is runny with no flavor and the food is lukewarm. Also, this restaurant feels "dirty" all the time with a weird smell. Go the one in Canton instead. read more

I always order online, I worked at Kohl's years ago and that's when I fell in love with Olga's. Since then I still order online and when I go in it's a short wait but it's no problem because my order is always correct and fresh. I decided to go in and eat one day when I had about two hours in between jobs. The service was great, no wait this particular day and I forgot my waitresses name but she was super friendly and attentive. This is my go to location. read more

Hey, we visited this Westland "Olga's" and hadn't been there in awhile because it used to be a bit on the not so clean side. This particular visit was really great because of our server! Tanya was really great to us and got our food quickly and it was good and hot! Like most people have said..the bread is hot and awesome! I'm a little sad or alot sad that they took most of our favorite sandwiches off of the menu :(** but there are a few of the old fav's still around: the Peasant soup and snackers are great and very yummy! The 3 cheese Olga is still around and the salad is good but they changed the dressing a bit and for me it's not quite the same. It has a "bite" to it that it didn't have before and I liked it better before! I like that this Olga's has very nice server's and that it is in the mall that is closest to our house. I would say that you should try some of the new sandwiches but I stick to my old stand by's like the fajita and the veggie Olga's and like I said, the 3 cheese is great! If you like dessert, they have this great chocolate chip bread pudding that comes warmed up with hot chocolate sauce over it and a special sauce that is white and yummy!! It comes with coffee so you get dessert and coffee for only $2.99! It really great tasting dessert , you just have to try it!! read more

My friend and I walked in on a Tuesday at around 11:45, there were two people sat so they were not busy at all. However despite them not being busy at all, it took someone around 5-10 minutes just to come out and seat us. They were too busy messing around in the back. That should've been our first sign to leave. Our waitress who sat us threw the menus on the table and asked us what we would liKe to drink then sped off. I ordered just plain chicken tenders. My friend asked specifically for a barbecue chicken sandwich wrap. 10 minutes later our food came out and the first chicken tender was just not edible. The second chicken tender i cut up and found big veins through out the chicken. I lost my appetite after seeing that. My friend, who ordered the barbecue chicken wrap received her wrap with steak instead of chicken. When she let the waitress know she went "we don't have a barbecue chicken wrap it's only with steak? Do I have to show you a menu?" And my friend replied "no it's ok" and then the waitress rushed off to go get and show her the menu. Why would she not tell us before my friend ordered they don't have a chicken wrap? The food was overall just very gross and the service and slow. We've been to several different Olga's, but this one is the closest and the one we go to the most. The Olga bread is always hot and freshly made. The Olga salad doesn't come with a lot of variety, but it is usually fresh and delicious. We've been going with the three cheese olga and the curly fries. The ice tea is excellent. No complaints to speak of. The service is normally good and the restaurant is cleaner than most. Olga's is just a little bit pricey for what you get, so I 'm going with 3 stars based on value. read more

We love Olga's. Our favorite Olga's location is in the Westland Mall. The food is great, always consistent, and perfect portions. One of the main reasons that makes dining at this location such a great experience is our server Mya. She does an outstanding job. She is very prompt and efficient and always does her job with a smile. She has an outstanding memory and always remembers our favorite menu items. Of particular note during our last visit, she was serving a couple ladies seated behind us. They were not familiar with the menu and had a lot of questions. I am a vegetarian, so I am my potions are limited. I usually stick to the Greek salad, Spinach pie, Coffee, and of course the Olga Bread. The Greek salad, is so/so. Every city has their own version of a Greek salad. But the spinach pie is goooooooood. And my favorite is the Olga bread. I get the Fat Free version, and it does not taste FF to me. Olga's defines Michigan Comfort Food. People tease me for my love of Olga's but I don't care. If I'm going to Westland Mall and start getting hungry, I'm coming here. The cost is cheap, the taste is good, and it comes out in like five minutes. Everyone who works here is nice. My faves here food wise are the Original Olga - extra meat, extra sauce, with cheese. The legendary snackers. Spinach Pie is dope, I usually get one to go, and of course The Peasant Soup. How good is that soup man? So good! Don't be afraid to admit you like Olga's, you know you do. Fast and friendly service. Food always meets expectations, so if you like Olga's this is a good one. I love the snackers (which have always been fresh during my visits), the fried cheese (like cheese sticks, but in balls) and the cheeseburger Olga. It was super busy here today. We had about a 5 minute wait. My daughters love coming here for the snackers. I had the Mediterranean Olga. It is excellent. It is made with lamb, feta, olives, and tomato. If you like feta check it out. We also tried the cinnamon sugar snackers with frosting. They were yummy and tasted like a cinnamon roll. Me and wife get carry out from here pretty regularly. They consistently get our order correct and the staff is always friendly. A guy walked off with our order today and the staff rushed to get our order remade. The refund has still not been placed on my credit card and I am filing a complaint with the credit card company and the Better Business Bureau. Very, very, very slow. My carryout order is never correct and I receive several apologies for how long it takes to receive my order...even when called in. I appreciate the fact that they're in the Westland area but they need to step it up. Also, my food for carryout is not made with the "care" that is made for dine-in...sloppy. Olga bread is addictive. The Olga salad is perfect. Usually great customer service. The orange cream cooler is a great drink for anytime of the year. It's not too sweet. The only downside of Olgas is the price for the amount of food you receive. My favs are the three cheese Olga without any sauce, onions or tomatoes, just the three cheeses. Then I get a side Olga salad and the fresh bitterness of the feta and veggies balance well with the sweet Olga dressing. I top that off with a side of curly fries. It's about $22.00 total, so it is a little pricey for a small amount of food. read more

Avoid this location at all cost. Food has gone down in quality since the remodel. Add to that only your server can cash you out and a quick 30 minute lunch becomes an hour and half. I was starting to lose faith in olgas after a bad experience last week at the dearborn heights store. Today I ordered from Westland mall and it was AWESOME. My soup was hot, salad was great, they didn't skimp on the cheese for the snackers and I probably had the best spinach pie today i've ever eaten from them. It was flaky and creamy and hot. It wasn't a cheap meal- at 20 bucks I was at least happy the food was as it should be. I would like to say to the execs at olgas- carry out soup in a plastic container is such a turn off. It made my soup taste funky and I probably ingested a ton of chemicals. My daughter loves that soup but I would never feed her anything brewing in that much plastic.
