The egg rolls are made to order so it was nice and hot when I received it. There was a dip that went with it. The dip tasted like 1000 island. Personally the egg roll was very flavorful without the dip. Everything was seasoned just right not too salty. Egg roll was crispy. The customer service was good and not a long wait time. The menu is diverse and affordable w large portions to match. I'd say it's like Coney Island but this is definitely better in quality. The staff are kind and the kitchen is run well. I'd recommend the crosswalk breakfast sandwich, skillet potatoes (well-done!), a salad with crispy chicken, or an omelette. Anything would be good as I've seen the fish sandwiches, deli, and large breakfast specials. The food is hot and it's open all the time. With a drive through?! I haven't been through that but it is an insane concept to me. I would recommend this place to anyone around Eastern Market / Gratiot area!

I like my crust a little crunchy on the bottom but I fixed that by dropping it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes. I love a good pizza especially from a black owned establishment. She then said in an accusatory tone, "Well I saw you taking pictures on the camera. Why?" I kindly answered "I'm taking pictures for Yelp." She said "You're posting those pictures on Yelp? Why?" I said "Well we're visiting from out of town and this is the first Coney Island I've been to so I wanted to take pictures". She looks at my family, my husband holding two toddlers who are asking for pancakes and bacon, and looked back at me with disgust as if we are causing havoc in her restaurant. My husband took the kids, we thanked the lady behind the window, and left. This is the most unwelcoming and ABSURD experience I've had at any establishment. I made sure I answered in the most polite way but the lady ensured that we felt unwelcome. When my kids asked why we were leaving, I answered with "they don't want us here."
