Parking is typically available in the lot and there is a partition now if wheelchair access is needed in the portion of the lot without handicap parking. Disappointing at best. After being a fan of Olga's for so many years the portions have consistently become smaller and smaller while the prices have consistently increased as with many other things. While I understand having to make adjustments due to prices for products used to produce the Snackers, perhaps it's just best to stop offering this item altogether because it's gotten to a point where it's starting to feel more like highway robbery. I absolutely love the Snackers but cannot understand while after paying $8 for them I only receive a handful and then one very limited amount of Swiss almond cheese for the size that I purchased. Additionally I ordered one sandwich which was almost $12 by the time I added a fry and side salad it was over $16. Not including the $8 I paid for the Snackers. Sad to say this location (Dearborn Heights @The Heights) is very inconsistent. Sometimes I have great customer service and sometimes it is awful. My last several visits have been beyond poor in terms of customer service and the food is mediocre at best. This post is all customer service related... If you order curbside, you should fully expect to actually go inside to get your items (kind of defeats the purpose of curbside, right?). If they do actually bring items out, they frequently forget the drinks and the condiments ordered. My last visit a few days ago was ridiculous (and not a stand alone incident). I placed an order for curbside pickup. I arrived and parked in a designated curbside pickup parking spot at the given time, I checked-in per the instructions in my email. I waited, I saw two staff look out the window, I waited, a customer in the car next to me went inside, came back out with her food and said to me, "I think your food, like mine, is just sitting there. You might want to go get it" After waiting a total of 15 minutes past my curbside pickup time, I went inside and sure enough, my food was sitting under the heat lamp, including the orange cream cooler (who puts an orange cream cooler under a heat lamp?). The fries were barely warm so I asked for new fries and that seemed very bothersome for the person with whom I spoke, but she did bring me some new fries - very over seasoned new fries, to the point they were almost inedible. When I asked about the curbside pickup process I was told how busy they were (there were two tables and seemingly more than enough staff with plenty of time to joke around), then I was told their system isn't working, and then I was told I should have called instead of following the email instructions. As I was standing there another customer who orders curbside pickup came in and another called on the phone to ask when his food would be brought to his car. How many people need to come in for their curbside pickup before you pay attention to it? The thing that really bothered me were the excuses - never did I, nor the others, receive an apology, only excuses. I also tip pretty well for curbside pickup, too bad I didn't get part of my tip back since I did some of the work! I think we will be putting Olga's Kitchen on pause for a while and will find some other places with better customer service. read more

The service is always great. I had my gift card from Olga's so instead of cooking, we thought we would enjoy a quick dinner and then back home to relax, since my husband wasn't really feeling good and he had tons of paperwork to do for work. As always our food comes out hot and ready. I hate that I couldn't remember our waitress's name. She was very attentive not only to our table but to those in her section. She served with excellence and always smiling and friendly. We are going to have to go back there so I can make sure I have her name. As always our food tasted great, my husband's salad was good, he likes their house dressing, very Italian. I personally love their zucchini fries. I should have ordered the appetizer size of zucchini fries because I ran out before I could finish my gyro. Their lamb always taste fresh and their gyro bread is perfect. One of the best experiences in a fast fresh restaurant lately. If you look at my other reviews, I have a love/hate relationship with Olga's. Love the food, absolutely hate how they're run and the service at most locations. I will definitely come back to this location. So, I took my Grandma and kids out for lunch after running errands. Restaurant looks pretty new and is very clean. We went at about 1:30pm so it was quiet with only a few tables occupied. We were sat promptly and our waitress came right over. Stephanie was our server and she was excellent. Very personable and fast. Our orders came right out and were hot and everything was right. It was so nice to actually have a good experience at Olga's! I want to start out by saying that the food is always good and the service is always friendly. The service is so friendly, in fact, that I feel bad writing a negative review but I have had multiple bad experiences at this point. I have done the curbside to go a couple times and both times they gave me a time estimate (15-20 minutes) that was wildly inaccurate. The first time I thought it was a fluke but it was over 45 minutes on both occasions. My other big issue is with how they nickle and dime you and then skimp. Olga's is not cheap but it's usually so good that it is worth the splurge. I ordered a basket of Snakers that would be being split by multiple people so I asked for a couple extra cheeses. They told me it would cost extra which is annoying but fine, I get it, they need to make a profit. It was $1.29 per extra side of cheese and I will let the picture of what they gave me speak for itself. This unopened container is exactly what they charged me $1.29 for. Pathetic. read more

If you're in a hurry for lunch do not stop at this location. I arrived at the location at 12:30 p.m. . By waitress did not even greet me for 10 minutes. Came back 5 minutes later with my drink and took my order. I did not receive my soup for another 20 minutes and within two minutes I have the rest of my meal which got cold because I was eating my soup. If I would not have asked for my bill it would have took way longer. What should have been about a 40 minute lunch took an hour and 20 minutes. read more

We had an Olga's email with a digital coupon and went forth for a lunch in the Dearborn Heights location. The menu has changed a little, but they still had an all you can eat salad and soup with snackers. The salad and peasant soup were very good, but what happened to the full size bowls? The little half cups they come out with must be a detraction to eating very much because the waitress has to keep coming back at least 2 or 3 times to even get a full serving. It does were you down a little bit, but before with the big bowls, one bowl as usually enough to fill you up. We also ordered a three cheese Olga sandwich and it was quite good as well. We work a few miles away, but it is worth the drive to have lunch there. My coworkers and I try and get there once a week. Kelli, and the rest of the staff are great! Two or three of the servers know what we are going to order before we sit down, because we are "regulars"... I order from here a lot because it's closest to me. I wish they were better at carry out. Every time I get a carry out they mess it up or just blatantly disregard special request and add-ons. If you are allergic to something specific check your food before leaving because they probably won't care. Seems like all they care about is making their money and not giving you what you want or ask for. Dining in is the total opposite tho, it's good service when dining in but still be specific because they aren't good at listening and executing the right food a lot of the time. read more

I ordered the White Bean Chicken Chili for lunch. I've probably ordered this a few dozen times and have always been happy I did. For some reason, this wasn't one of those times. Chili should be thick & hearty but there was hardly any beans, chicken or texture. The broth? was thin like chicken soup. The flavor was there only it tasted diluted like too much water was added to thin it out to make it last longer. I was really disappointed because I order this all the time and never had this problem before. I have never been to this Olgas', and not to any in probably 30 years. The waitress helped me decide what sandwich to order, it was delicious. The broccoli soup was also very good. Ordered a pick up today which consisted of appetizers and sandwich. Order Time said 8 minutes I got there in 15 minutes and still wasn't done. Another 10 minutes and I finally got my order. This was my 1st time ever trying Olga's and I can say I was beyond dissapointed with my chicken being dry and snackers being over cooked! Great food. I had been looking forward to their peasant soup and it didn't disappoint. I also had a small plate version of their quinoa harvest salad (great flavours, expect to chew a lot it has quinoa and wheat berry so this wasn't news to me) and the Italian pasta salad which really hit the spot and tasted as I'd hoped. My mother and I have made it a sort of tradition to stop here and share a basket of snackers when we're out and about. She's been bringing me here for years, and I love their food (especially the Olga bread), but it has to be a once in a while thing because their food is pretty pricey. As much as I would love to give this place at least a four star review, I just can't justify it. The waitstaff is always friendly, but every time we go, we end up waiting around half an hour to get our food. Not to mention that a good portion of the time, it's overcooked.
