Terrible cancellation policy. You forfeit the whole booking if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival. Outrageous!

The Wilmington Inn

We have a tradition of going to Mt. Snow's Oktoberfest every October, so we've driven past the…read moreWilmington Inn many times. This year, our friends celebrated their wedding at the Wilmington In , and the majority of guests stayed, including us. There's plenty of on-site parking and as soon as you walk in, you feel the owners' passion for the property. The decor is classic Vermont, and the common spaces have comfortable, inviting furniture. There is also a bar area where you can purchase any number of craft cocktails, which are expertly made. We stayed in the Wilmington room, which is one of the few rooms with a King bed. The room was beautifully furnished, with a nice high bed, armoire, and television. The bathroom has a beautiful jacuzzi tub and shower. The linens were fresh and comfortable. Where the owners truly shined was with hosting the event. We truly felt special during the weekend. Every evening a fire was made in the fire pit out front. The breakfast each morning was delicious. And the main common room was cleared of furniture in one day to accommodate the wedding tables. Everything looked fabulous and made for an incredible wedding. I highly recommend The Wilmington Inn, whether for a quick stay, or your special event. You will not be disappointed!

Clean room, and Inn was clean throughout. Lovely breakfast by Megan included in the rate. Charlie's bar is available and there's a nice area there to relax in as well as a living room with a fireplace. Good wifi, but I wasn't taxing it. Mount Snow very close for skiing but also plenty of other activities, especially hiking, nearby. Right price for our needs-will definitely go back.

We were only there for two nights and they were discovered after our first day so not much we could do. We also left a message that went unanswered until after checkout. We were offered a discount for a future stay - not happening. This is an older Inn that needs a deep clean, furnishing upgrades, and a good dose of energy. It felt very sad. Nothing special here other than the proximity to Mt Snow and restaurants.

The host, Oz (spelled Oguz), has a bachelors and a masters degree in hospitality and it shows with his extravagant welcome and gracious helpfulness. The room was exactly what you would expect from a quaint New England Inn, with very comfortable love seat and chair in front of the woodburning fireplace (very rare to find anymore). The bed was pleasurably comfortable. Breakfast was cooked by Oz and was tasty and well presented. The location is surrounded by excellent restaurants, just minutes from Wilmington which also has many restaurants and shops. If you were an artist looking for a beautiful Vermont country inn to paint, this would be an excellent choice. And, it was quite affordable, especially in light of its well-deserved stellar reviews. Take a bow, Oguz!

When you first walk in there a the smell of pine trees and warm fireplace. Ariiane and Scott were very welcoming. We stayed in the Evergreen room which had a fireplace in the room and jetted tub which was much needed after a day of skiing. My only complaint was the pillows were not so comfortable. They had complementary bottled water cookies and coffee in the room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good and their dog Josie greeted us daily. We loved it and we'll be back soon!!

The attention to detail in the room and the Inn made for a nice relaxing weekend. The room had a jetted tub, fireplace, outside private deck and super comfy bed. The linens and pillows were soft like clouds. The personal touches like the robes or make-up face cloths were those little unexpected things you appreciate. The owners Ariana and Scott were so gracious and accommodating. Josie their pup was friendly especially during breakfast. :) I have food restrictions and they were able to accommodate all of them. The breakfast was delicious homemade everything...cinnamon chips scones, omelets, bacon, coffee and tea etc. YUM!! Did I say how immaculate the room and common areas in the Inn? By far the cleanest and most organized B&B I've ever stayed at and I have been to a lot. The location is perfect for people wanting adventure or just a nice relaxing day or both. We took advantage of the location and went on a 5 mile hike which was wonderful. We relaxed with a bottle of wine and a nice hot bath after the hike. It was perfect. We highly recommend staying here and will be coming back for a few nights next time because we enjoyed it so much. Thank you Ariana and Scott for making my birthday weekend so special.
