We drove up the steep driveway from our smaller inn down the road. The grounds are picturesque. You can see views of the rolling hills and the Deerfield Valley. Outside they had the BBQ going and drink stations flowing. The patio and inside dining areas had lots of seating for the guests. The food was good, though the peach cobler tasted a bit soapy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of antique details throughout the inn. They even had giant jenga games throughout the great room. Overall, a good time. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, and are looking for something elegant, but at the same time casual, The White House Inn is a great place. You can't beat the setting.

One thing that you should be mindful of is the parking spots.. it's quite limited so you might have some trouble parking in the inn's parking itself but other than that, there are many restaurants in the area you can go to for dinner!
