The jewelry is handcrafted, and many pieces include the artist's name and a short bio, which adds such a personal touch. The associates are friendly, welcoming, and genuine. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and I noticed they recognized and acknowledged repeat customers. That's impressive, especially considering the number of tourists who visit the store. Another thing I appreciated is that they don't overwhelm you with emails. Their emails are event-focused and purposeful, which is refreshing. You're paying for quality, craftsmanship, and unique items you won't find just anywhere. The prices reflect the specialty merchandise they carry and the care that goes into selecting it. Parking... well, it's Pasadena! I couldn't agree more with the statement "Support your locally owned and operated pharmacies!", and Old Pasadena Pharmacy is a shining example of why. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist with any questions you may have. This pharmacy may not have all the bells and whistles of a large chain, but it certainly has all the basics covered. The selection of products is great, and the prices are very reasonable. You'll find everything you need here, from prescriptions to over-the-counter medications, and even some unique gift items. I appreciate the personal touch that this pharmacy brings to the community. read more

They're amazing. If you've only gone to big chain pharmacies in your life, you'll be astounded at the difference in service and caring at Old Pasadena Pharmacy. Both my partner and I had the same thought after going there: "I didn't know that kind of service was possible." To be honest, I've never even had bad service at big chains, but there's something very different and personalized about this place. I go out of my way to recommend them to anyone. The rest of the store is full of neat, eclectic snacks, drinks, gifts, and, obviously, standard pharmacy items. If you live anywhere in the area, you should give them a visit. I wish I could get everyone to go there, seriously. read more

I love this pharmacy. I live around the corner so it's very convenient to run in for prescriptions but also over the counter medication or even last minute necessities from their store. He spends time explaining, going over how the body functions so we can get a clear idea of what's happening to us. This pharmacy may be smaller, but it's packed with genuinely wonderful people. One thing I've learned is that we, as patients, sometimes need a little patience too. The pharmacists don't make the rules--the insurance companies and government do. And let's be honest... the insurance companies seem to excel at making life unnecessarily complicated. (Looking directly at you, Aetna. ) What I really appreciate is that the pharmacists and staff actually try to help. If there's a coupon, a discount program, or a more affordable option, they'll often suggest it before you accidentally have to sell your firstborn just to afford a 30-day supply. Using prescription coupons isn't being cheap--it's being smart. I've also learned that not every delay or refill issue is the pharmacy's fault. Sometimes your doctor needs to update a prescription, review your medications, or catch a potential drug interaction before they can legally fill it. As frustrating as that can be, I'd much rather have a pharmacist preventing me from becoming a zombie than simply handing over a bottle and wishing me luck.
