I called 3 days before my son was due to return to school. I asked if they had polo school dress code shirts, the lady was so nice to me and said she would hold them for me and to ask for Megan. I drove over walked in and found Megan and she had all the shirts I asked for in various colors, nicely folded I might add. I walked right up to the cashier and I was out of there. Now that is great customer service!!! Especially for us busy mom's who have so many things to accomplish as well as love our little ones!!! Job well done Megan and Old Navy!!! read more

My last review stated that I came here for jeans, which I couldn't find. I therefore had to place a couple online orders for them. Ultimately, I returned one order in its entirety, and I only kept 3 pairs of jeans from the other. That is where my trouble with the entire Old Navy brand starts. Old Navy insists that I kept 6 pairs of jeans. That doesn't even make sense, as those 6 pairs represent several different sizes -- I only kept one size, the one that fits. I tried calling Old Navy's customer service line, but was put on hold for nearly an hour. As I was at work, I had to hang up. I then tried e-mailing. All I got was an automated acknowledgement of my inquiry, and a promise of a personalized response in 1-2 days. I never got it. Even for the order that Old Navy verifies I returned in its entirety, I was issued an incomplete refund. It was only $0.04, but it still makes no sense, and highlights a problem with Old Navy's refund process and/or accounting ability. Moreover, they randomly sent me a pair of kids' jeans, saying that they couldn't accept the return because they had no record of my ever buying it... That's because I didn't. I don't have kids, or any kids to buy clothes for, so they sent me somebody else's jeans, and somebody else isn't getting their refund. To get any sort of response from Old Navy, I had to get my bank involved, but because too much time had elapsed (uh, yeah, because Old Navy didn't bother to respond and I was giving them the benefit of the doubt as I waited), my bank couldn't do anything about it when Old Navy refused to issue the credit back for me. Super sketchy business practices, not to mention poor customer service with the total lack of response. The most obnoxious thing was that I could have returned my order here, and watched as they counted every pair of jeans! However, I didn't want to make the poor salesperson do that, especially because I had like 15 pairs of pants (I knew I wanted 3 pairs of jeans, but had to order a range of sizes because the jeans I was told I was ordering the first time turned out to be different, and the sizing was different). For ~$76, they've lost a customer. Even if I buy Old Navy products from now on, it will be through eBay or something, so that I'm not giving Old Navy any more money. Good job, Old Navy. read more

I love old navy... this is the store to buy cute and inexpensive clothes for your kids... Great deals always going on, and because I signed up for there mailing specials I get other offers like ( spend 50 or more and get $15 off your purchase) SCORE- as for the women's department its okay sometimes there materials suck I buy shirts here and wash them and end up with little holes in my shirts??? also there active apparel is great quality, for a great price!!! I love Old Navy but seriously this store is a dump. Looks like black friday is every day, clothes everywhere. Also the line is riduculous! usually have one cashier even though I hear them asking for additional cashier. Manager says there is no one to help cashier. My question is why don't they open a lane and take care of the customers. I have walked out a few times because they have one cashier. I went shopping at the Escondido mall and was so happy to see an Old Navy there. It is a beautiful store with more cashiers. read more

Every time I've ever shopped at this old navy it has always been a disaster. You're better off just shopping online rather than getting annoyed that everything is so unorganized. Manager was rude when I was overcharged for something I did not buy, but had asked the cashier to put back. Neither the cashier or manager apologized for the inconvenience of having to drive back and get my money back. They made it out as if I were trying to rip them off. read more

Return policy its sucks you cant return a Merchandise that's been wash once and its shrunk 2 didn't fit and the other 2 fits on my son. The girl (totally a liar )who works here she is trying to say there is no guy works here while, i told her i called this morning to verify if i can exchanged it told the guy its been washed and it shrunk since the merchandise its defective and the guy said its ok so i went to get the same one but later change my mind what if i wash it again and can't return it .They accepted the pants but not so happy how the girl handle the situations worst customer service ever tried to lie on me .I am a regular customer here but guess what this is my last visit here .wish there is a zero star. read more

This is great place to shop for kids. The clothes are really a bargain here. You can buy so many clothes for reasonable prices. My daughter grows like a weed. Whatever I buy now, in a couple of weeks, my daughter will out grow it. If I buy expensive clothing, it would just be a waste of my money. The appear at Old Navy looks great and are comfortable. I heard that the Gap Outlet has good deal, but I don't know what the price comparison is. I was also told that they are the same company. read more

I wound up at this location due to the temporary closing of the Escondido Mall location (fire). I really have never seen a department store in this condition. It made Ross look like Nordstrom. There were literally piles and piles of hangers on the floor....everywhere on the floor. The display tables were nothing more than mile high piles of unfolded clothing and the display racks were empty with clothing lying on the floors beneath of them. While the staff were friendly, they were inefficient at best, taking up to 10 minutes or more per transaction. I'm not entirely sure how the Old Navy corporate office could (or would) allow this location to represent the brand in this slovenly manner. Will definitely never go back. read more

My fiancé and I came close to closing on a Saturday 4/16 and I needed to buy work pants. The manager was kind enough to let us make a quick purchase and the cashier offered us help finding the size I needed. The didn't have the size I needed at the front but they had some stored in the back. The girls were kind enough to pull the pants I needed to side and had them ready to be paid and picked up the next day for my fiancé. This kind of customer service is rare to find at retail stores. Old navy is my favorite store ! I can always find what I'm looking for and more ! They always have sales going on, and the staff are friendly. The store is a bit messy and they can use more associates out in each department but I have seen other customers being messy shoppers. So I understand why the store looks rough sometimes. Love to shop here! They move styles in and out pretty quickly. I was just in here two weeks ago and I returned to buy a soft knit sweater that i had eyed and they were all gone! The prices are better than other dept stores and they regularly have a promotion or sale going on. Some of the styles tend to be a lil on the preppy side, but I can always find cute casual clothes here for the whole family. Some of my favorite wardrobe pieces were purchased here, an insulated warm olive green winter jacket that doesn't make me look like a balloon, light pastel spring sweaters, and long lasting soft cotton tanks and tees that I layer all though out the year. Heart shaped opal and gold earrings with faux diamonds running though them that get me tons of compliments. So why not five stars?? This store is notorious for mislabeling prices. I have to keep an eye out at the register to make sure they ring up correctly. I've had to take back and get refunded twice with items that I was overcharged with. The last time I purchased a clearly marked $8 tank top and it rung up $17! When I told the cashier, she said it's only if you buy more three or more. Nope there was no fine print. Just a sign that said $8. When I explained to her twice that I double checked the price she finally walked over to the rack and seen I wasn't making it up and she corrected the price at the register. I don't want to deter shoppers because I love this store but make sure you are not getting over charged. read more

Old navy sells kids clothes, so one would presume that kids are welcome, right? No. Not at this store (Old Navy, Vista CA) Today I witnessed an employee (middle age brunet lady wearing glasses) screaming at a toddler boy. She was very rude with the boy's mother because the boy dropped some clothes on the floor. I felt very embarrassed with the situation and asked her to be nice to costumers then she told us all to go shopping in another store in Escondido. Extremely rude! This unhappy person hurts the Company reputation. Old Navy should prepare their employees to treat costumers with kindness. The store was empty and the workers did not have costumers to help so I do not understand why so much stress. This type of behavior drives away costumers that will look for other options or shop online and with no costumers to shop there is no need of employees or the physical store. The world is changing, and luckily we have many other options of nice places to shop. Avoid this one. read more

When my family and I were visiting the store today we were asked by Brett if we wanted to "sign up for the rewards card to save $10 on our purchase TODAY." We agreed. I worked in sales for many years so I asked him if it was a credit card. He told us no and said it was just a rewards card and that we would have the option to upgrade when we get the card in 7-10 business days. Then we asked if it would run his credit info and he said no again. So we gave all the info he asked. When it came time to put in the social security number we asked why they needed it. He said "to track the card if it gets lost.". After this he proceeded to turn the register screen to where we could not see it. Finally he told us we were done and gave is our total.... We did NOT save $10 on our purchase. He said "oh they will mail it to u and reimburse you". We paid and left. However were extremely upset with the lies we had been told. This was HORRIBLE customer service and we were extremely dissatisfied with the service! read more

I hardly ever leave reviews but I was so frustrated by my shopping experience today that I felt compelled to. I came in to buy some jeans. The jeans section is a disaster. The boot cut, straight and skinny are all mixed up. The sizes are in no order. The washes and inseams are everywhere. If you pull out a stack of jeans to see what sizes are behind it you will find a pile of unfolded jeans that have been shoved in. I spent about 20 minutes trying to find my size, inseam, wash and cut. Never found it and no one working at the store ever greeted me or offered help. I took a few pairs to the dressing room and there were two employees there. One was being trained by the other and while I was trying on my jeans the trainer was complaining to the trainee about annoying things customers do. I get it, I work in retail too. But come on. I hardly ever shop here and was reminded today why. I would rather pay more for better quality and shopping experience elsewhere. read more

Totally not the coolest place to go if you're a younger guy but good news, you can get in and out really quickly. The bottom line is they have great jeans, from the weird tight kind to the baggy relaxed kind. They have all the colors, the various styles that are popular but at a logical price. Look around online, I see prices for jeans up at least around $60 and its flat out ridiculous. But, I still want jeans. Old Navy has literally every style for men's jeans and they cost 20 bucks period. They even have larger sizes and at the same cost. Thats just the jeans. They've got decent looking fleece sweaters for under 15 bucks, and recently have been carrying MLB and NFL logo T shirts for as low as $9 each. Go online and look at a simple T shirt with the logo of your favorite baseball or NFL team and youll see you're not going to find one for less than $30 and thats rare. Old Navy, another one of those stores you have preconceived notions of because of the somewhat dorky commercials but JEANS, they have JEANS for a price that makes sense. Their website offers even more of a selection and offers a TON of different button up woven Men's shirts in dozens of prints, both long sleeve and short sleeve. Im talking nice enough long sleeve shirts to wear to business casual work, that aren't too dorky to wear out to the bar, and short sleeve button up shirts that are flat out good for anything...and just like the jeans you'll find them for around 20 bucks too. I'm giving them one star because you can't give them negative stars. We were looking for water shoes for my daughter and instead of blindly driving over there and hoping they had her size, we decided to call to verify that they had her size in stock. We'll apparently taking 2 minutes to have the employee check was way too much for them as their manager instructed them that they were unable to look for us!! Wow, what amazing customer service! Really makes you want to spend your money there. We decided to let corporate know about the fantastic service Vista location is providing and this is where it gets better... Upon relaying our frustration to a "compliant dept employee", she let us know that unfortunately since they're having their 1$ flip flop day, that they are unable to perform this highly difficult and extremely time consuming task of walking 15 feet to check if a shoe size is in stock. Then after letting her know that if that's their stance we'd take our business elsewhere, we were given a," I'm sorry you feel that way" retort. I'm sorry you'd rather lose a $20 sale for water shoes over a $1 sale of a pair of substandard flip flops made in some sweat shop by an 8 year old. read more
