I've received numerous compliments while wearing the various wardrobe pieces I've purchased from this store. Marta, Shayla, and the rest of the staff are all excellent stylists and a great pleasure to work with. They easily get a feel for what you like and what works for your body type and then curate outfits that fit your personality and shape. Marta personally reaches out to me every time she gets new items in the store that she thinks I would love, and I go in the store and freak out with excitement over the outfits she's picked for me every single time. They are always perfect. I always end up spending hours feeling so fly while trying on new clothes here, and it is so much fun working with these ladies! The items in the store are also high-quality items and reasonably priced. They carry a wide range of clothing items and accessories for all looks and occasions. What's really awesome, though, is that the chances of you running into someone else wearing the same top or dress as something you got from here are pretty low! Divalani Style has really earned my business, and I will continue to shop here. It's just so nice coming into a store where high-quality outfits that spell ME are all ready to try on in the dressing room! I just really, really enjoy my experience here each time I shop. The store is usually messy, and the selection is pretty limited, which already makes shopping here frustrating. What really pushed me to write this review was the customer service. On my last visit, I wanted to try on a pair of heels in a different size to see what fit better. My mom asked an employee if they had the shoe in the back, and the employee said she would check. We stayed in the exact same spot waiting for about 5-10 minutes. During that time, the employee had already come back out and was talking to another worker, but never came back to update us. We were confused and kept waiting, thinking she would return. After getting no response, I went to ask another employee. That's when the original worker walked by, and my mom asked her if she found the shoes. Instead of apologizing or giving us an update, she blamed us. She said that because we could "see her there," it should have been obvious she didn't have the shoes. I've never experienced that anywhere before. If a customer asks for help, it's basic courtesy to come back and let them know what's going on. Blaming the customer for your lack of communication is insane. What made it worse was that there was zero accountability, no apology from her or from the employee who ended up helping us after and witnessed the entire thing. The whole situation felt dismissive and rude. I also can't ignore how it felt watching other customers get much more attentive service while we were left waiting with no help. My mom is an asian immigrant and speaks broken English, and we weren't dressed up since we had just gotten off work. That should not affect the way we're treated. Everyone deserves the same level of respect and service, no matter how they look or speak. I still ended up buying the heels, but the experience left a really bad impression. No retail store should make customers feel ignored or blamed for asking for help and no retail store has, until this one.
