2nd visit in the past 3 weeks.... Saw some new items on sale from $19.90 - $39.90 for clothing that we liked. Bought a Men's Dry-EX T-shirt for $24.90, a DRY-EX Hoodie for $39.90, and a Geared Shorts for $29.90. During the Checkout process, one of the employees was very friendly and helpful at the Self Checkout area. He helped ring up the items and fold them nicely into the shopping bag. read more

Great place to buy quality clothes that are minimalist, casual and comfortable. I've bought shirts, sweaters, bras and dresses from here. I've never had a bad experience here, staff has always been friendly and they recently installed a self check our with the coolest kiosk. When you're ready to pay try the new self checkout, it's alot more advanced then the ones you see in grocery stores or other retailers. read more

My wife's go-to place when we go to the mall for shopping. She only likes great clothes and this must be a good place or she wouldn't be going here so often. Both men's and women's, but the sizing is bit too small for my XXL size. But, definitely someplace for women's cloths and for men that are less that aren't like a linebacker. read more

This store is located between Sears and Nordstrom at the Southcenter Westfield Mall. I haven't been to this store before and thought the products, clothes, and pricing were a neat concept. Yes, I agree that the concept is of efficiency and being a minimalist. There are lots of choices with colors, but it seems sizing is very simplistic. Employees are friendly and helpful but do not follow anyone around the store as one Yelper complained about from a prior review. I stop in here every 6 months or so and pick something up because they always have something cool to add to my wardrobe. Very reasonable prices on most items. The only item i'm not a fan of are the under shirts. Too short for me to tuck in and have stay tucked. Otherwise, I'm all in. read more

I'm not too crazy about their extra stretch skinny fit jeans. Sure the fabric is stretchy alright but what's with the thick waistband? You won't get that with designer jeans, heck not even Levi's does that. My theory is that the material's not strong enough as a single layer so they had to stitch two pieces together so it would hold its shape. I placed an online order for store pick up, and received a notification to pick up my items at the Southcenter WA store within 5 days. when i visited the store, the employee checked my email and asked me to wait. after 30+ minutes, they told me the order is not there. they gave me a story about how the item is unavailable in stores so they cannot fulfill the order, and that they would process it so that i never came to pick it up within the 5 day timeframe. I found this absolutely ridiculous because i know the order was shipped from a warehouse. they never even apologized for my missing order. Not only do I not have my items, now I have to wait 4 weeks for the refund according to them because i "never picked it up" what is this nonsense? they also said NO REIMBURSEMENTS out of the blue as if I was demanding money and being unreasonable. to be clear, i never even mentioned getting any type of reimbursements. i suspect that they misplaced the order and are trying to blame it on the "system error" for sending me an email for pick up. i sincerely hope some look into this matter and also speak to the store manager there. she never even bothered to show her face. needless to say I wont be shopping at this store, or any other Uniqlo for that matter. They have the worst customer service. Good news! Your order is ready for pickup at Uniqlo Southcenter. Please remember to bring a photo ID when picking up this order. UNIQLO's slogan is "clothes made for all" and if you give UNIQLO a chance I'm sure you're going to find it has something for you too. UNIQLO is Japanese Street clothes that are both fashionable and inexpensive. While living overseas I have been to UNIQLOs in Japan, Korea and China. What was great was that no matter where I went, I could find the same clothes because they sell their own label clothing. Think of UNIQLO as the Japanese version of stores like the Gap or Old Navy. They offer the same item of casual wear clothing in many colors. It's crazy but when I say many colors I mean there are some items that you can find in some really unique colors you might not probably see. So if you have something with a not so common color, this is the place to go to try and match it. I totally prefer the clothes here to the more common American stores because the men's selection isn't the same thing that you're going to find in most American stores. Trends are trends, but the items here have a different feel. If you stop in, you'll see what I'm talking about. Here's a quick bit of history... UNIQLO opened its first store in Hiroshima in 1984 and is now the largest clothing retailer in Asia. UNIQLO has been in the United States since their first store opened in 2006 in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. It took a while for the Seattle/Bellevue area to get our first store and now we have one in Southcenter too. This store is neat and clean and the staff here are very polite. They have a large selection of clothes for both men, women, teens and kids. I totally love their selection of printed t-shirts and underwear for men. I have several hoodies and jackets from them as well and they have held up for years. Stop in to UNIQLO and you'll be back. read more

I've heard great things about the quality of clothing at Uniqlo, so I brought my wife in to see what they had. We searched all over the women's section and settled on buying her a maxi dress with a built-in bra! Super comfortable, and versatile! The women's clothing was way more hit or miss than the men's. For women, they have a lot of spaghetti strap tanks, athletic clothing, jeggings, and t-shirts that are shorter than my wife likes. Then there is a gap from super casual to formal clothing (business clothes and summer dresses), with only seasonal linen pieces to fill the void. The men's selection on the other hand was awesome! They had a ton of variety, from jeans and hoodies to workout cloths, even suits! I loved every short sleeved button up shirt I saw, perfect for summer! Both genders get super affordable down-filled outerwear and limited time collaboration collections. Even some cool options for kids! The employees were amazing to work with. Super helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. If it wasn't for the poor women's selection in store, it would have been a perfect experience. read more

I see someone else had a very similar experience. I normally don't put out any reviews, positive or negative, unless the experience is something special - in this case, it was phenomenally negative. Details will follow, but what was quite unpleasant was the following: 1) Internal things that are of no concern to the customer were used as an excuse for their incompetence 2) Some customer facing people were utterly unable to even fake compassion and understanding toward frustrated customers 3) Even though I consider Uniqlo as a relatively large scale store, they don't seem to have any compensation procedure in case of a failure by the store What happened: I placed an online order on 09/30 for a store pick at this location. The items were for my son's specific event on 10/13. On 10/06 I received a mail saying my order is ready for pickup, and if I don't pick it up within 5 days the items will be sent back to the warehouse. On 10/09 my son and I went to the store to pick the items up. They couldn't find my order. The lady who was helping me asked 5 times when I received my notification email, while going back and forth between the register and the back of the store and talking to her supervisor. After half an hour of waiting, the lady came back and told me my order isn't there. She was very apologetic and nice, sweating profusely, but it was very not cool that they didn't have my order. I shifted gear and went for a damage control. I asked what they can do to remedy the situation, since these items were for a specific event next Wednesday. Can they cover the expedited shipping to our house? No. Is there any kind of compensation because this was a clear case of their mistake and now we need to scramble to get something else for my son's event? No. Finally I asked for her supervisor. He came, listened to what I had to say with what I perceived as a rather blank expression (although I guess it's hard to say these days what is going on behind the mask), then told me that my items were delivered to the store on 10/09 at 2:30 pm and somehow at 4:30 pm were sent back to the warehouse. Why did I have to wait for half an hour for them to figure that out? Then he went on to tell me there was nothing they could do because E-Commerce is handled by a different entity and the store doesn't have any authority over that side. Both the lady and the supervisor repeatedly told me I would get a refund, like that's something special. They did not deliver what I ordered and paid for. Shouldn't a refund go without saying? In the end I saw I wasn't going anywhere, and there was no point wasting even more time with these people, so we left. I will try to see if there is an option of filing a complaint that can be tied to my order like with Amazon, but the supervisor told me there is no option for a phone customer service. Coming from Japan, I do like Uniqlo and I don't expect the same level of customer service here, but they could do better. I might try to see how the Bellevue store is, but the Southcenter location is dead to me. read more

Uniqlo is an okay brand and affordable price however their customer assistance is way down ridiculous, bad and rude! I have never been frustrated to a call center customer service operator but these three calling center operators one of the three is Princess; all did a number on me. I spoke to three operators from calling center and waited 30 minutes each operator and explained again redundantly what I need assistance with and them to hang up on me or put you on hold for twenty minutes! I would never support Uniqlo again because of their bad customer service. read more

L O C A T I O N inside Southcenter Mall, next to Din Tai Fung and across from Kazuki ramen S E R V I C E The staff here are suuuuper friendly....like, "Hi, how are you doing" or "WELCOME!!" every couple of minutes. It feels like their cheeks are going to be sore from smiling so much or they're dying on the inside. The fitting room staff were friendly and helpful. If you needed a new size, color, or whatever they will bring it to you. It's the grand opening weekend so it's understandable that they want to make a good impression. O V E R A L L The store has some pretty good promos all weekend long. The pricier items are usually $10 off. If you purchase $60 worth of merch then you get a free Airsoft item. This new store drew in quite the crowd. The lines were long for both the fitting room and checkout stations. But through it all the service and friendliness of the staff were great. I'll probably come back when the hype dies down and the staff are more relaxed and chill. I'm excited that Uniqlo opened in this location. I'm so glad that Uniqlo opened up at Southcenter - now, I don't have to trek all the way up to Bellevue! I've always been a fan of Uniqlo, even before they had stores in the US. They have great basics that are of good quality at an affordable price. I love their heat-tech collection for fall/winter time. It really does keep you warm! The Southcenter store doesn't disappoint in terms of the products available and the friendliness of staff. I also like that they have products that collaborate with other designers - definitely keeps things interesting for me. FYI: Uniqlo might not work for everyone depending on your body type. If you're very tall, Uniqlo pieces will most likely be too short. If you need a larger size (XL, XXL), you might not find a large selection in store - you're probably better off going to the Uniqlo store on-line. Also, not all designer collaborated products that you see on-line will be available in store. The store itself also uses very bright lighting. It seems even brighter because their walls/shelvings are white. It's also more of a "shop on your own" type of store. There are cashiers and greeters, but you won't get bombarded with staff asking you if you need assistance (which I personally like better). read more
