I think this section of H&M should have it's own page. It's home goods and the main Southcenter Mall H&M entry mentions clothing. So this is a separate section with dining, kitchen, bath, baby room, and that kind of thing - linens, tableware, baskets. The palette right now is decidedly muted, browns and peach. Clean but empty. An employee sitting on the floor in the middle of an aisle talking on their cell phone. Was glad for the quiet but also would have liked someone to acknowledge my presence. Overpriced. read more

The store has dramatically changed in fashion, looks, and style ever since it first opened. Clothing materials, trendy looks and designs have all been modified over the past 10-15 years. You can tell they are bringing more of the fashion from the 1980's and 1990's back for some reason. Bell bottoms, ripped jeans, classic graphic t-shirts with heavy metal rock bands on them - Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam. Even late rappers like Biggie, 2Pac and Nas. Hoodies, Pants, Sweatshirts and shoes have gone backwards in style compared to the 21st Century trends, as expected. H&M South CenterTukwila. I was exchanging for a different size that i bought online just a week back. They were charging me for the price difference. In store $34.99 vs online $14.99. While the store in Auburn honored the price because it was just a size exchange but they dont have the other item that i have so they told me southcenter have them and to go there and they even called the store. Associate at south center was rude, even yelled at me when i was giving him my phone to talk to customer service. He yelled to get in line and that he was talking to someone. But in fact i was the one first on the line i just stepped a side to talk to customer service. So their customer service said to honor the exchange policy and match the price since it is an exchange of the same product And just the size. But the associate Eddie still wont do it and called his Manager Crystal who also wont do it even if their customer service told them that the customer service manager has said to honor and price match it. The associate wont even give me his name, told me just say that tattooed guy. But the Manager gave me both their names. Will never buy from this branch again. Horrible customer service! Thankful for the girl associate and her manager at the Auburn branch who helped me with the other item and also for the customer service associate gus whom i spoke with while i was at southcenter branch. read more

Associates are truly horrible. Have had two miserable experiences - once trying to purchase a pillow sham that was allegedly a "display" item, despite it being tagged for normal retail sale and not marked for display in any way. Second time, attempting to make a return (all items were properly tagged and had online order receipt), was told by the same "manager" that it is store policy to not accept online returns because "their store can't take the hit". Both times were with the same "manager" and both times they were snide, condescending and openly rude. I understand it's probably miserable to be a low-level retail manager in your late 30s, but there's no reason to be blatantly unhelpful in a customer facing role. read more

This location has a decent selection of clothes and small section of accessories, but it is a lot smaller in physical size than some of their other locations. They have nice employees and an easy fast checkout! H&M doesn't advertise their clothing recycle program outside of their stores but if you bring items to donate they will give you a coupon for 15% off of your purchase! I love this idea! Clothing and/or accessories are either resold, or recycled depending on their usefulness. Textiles from clothing and accessories can be broken down and re/up cycled into other materials. Now this is recycling at its best! read more

I can always rely on this place to get my joggers. Everything here is cheap, somewhat good quality but it works for me. I think the only thing here I will not buy are their T-shirts. Info for everyone that purchases item at H & M store at Tukwvila mall. I purchased two items , however I had to return them cause it was too big. I had the price tags & receipts to request refund. When checking the receipts versus the price tag , I realized they charged me more on both items than what the price stated. Example, from $16.99 to $29.99. I disputed with the manager but argue the number item & price tag did not match with receipt. I argue it shows the original price was reduced but price I paid was more which reflects my receipt. Told them your company inputted the wrong number & charged me the price but tag shows it was reduced. After argument, she finally refund me the price that I paid just to shut me up. I informed manager that they needed to bring this issues to your company cause your scanners are incorrectly charging customers more than what is stated on the original price tags &item numbers don't match on receipts. I would have never known I paid more if I hadn't request for a refund. Therefore, there is a problem with their scanner system but the manager said they couldn't do anything or had any interest or care of informing their company. So shoppers: Recommend to all shoppers to be alert to all merchant stores to watch out what price they or you scan as well check your receipts. Good luck shoppers!! read more

I was EXTREMELY sad when they closed their downtown location. It wasn't that it was immaculate, perfectly organized or stocked. But it was convenient and had a mens section that seemed to stock all sizes in dress shirts. My fiance and I made a special trip out to this last of the two lingering H&M locations in the Seattle area. (Sorry, but WHY WHY WHY keep the two most annoying locations to get to traffic-wise to shop at: U Village and Southcenter?! WAHHHH!) And while the mens section is much larger than I've seen at a lot of other locations, it was literally out of every size MED mens dress shirt. All they had was an entire round rack of smalls and XLs. How does this happen? I've worked in retail long enough (in my past life) to know that these essentials should be the easiest things to keep in stock. How do their computer/tracking systems let this happen? On top of the sad state of stock at this store, their displays and general shopping environment are awful. Black suits and outfits were up on display without proper lighting anywhere (except the very front of the store). And the racks are so packed and unorganized, it makes it nearly impossible to see to check what they actually have. Two sales people were helping two other customers look for MED dress shirts at the same time we were looking and they seemed surprised their own store was out and organized in the way it was... I'm sorry, but I don't feel that your shopping experience should be so difficult and lack-luster just because you don't want to spend $80+ on dress shirts. This location needs to get on some better display lighting and organizing. Hell, the whole store layout could use some Visual's attention. We left and likely won't be doing much H&M shopping in the future, since this location (and UVillage) are what Seattleites are left with. read more

Had to wait in line for 25 minutes while the cashier chatted with some lady buying $350 worth of clothing for her trip to Bali. I mean yeah, that's a ton of clothing to fold but you don't need to chat leisurely like you're in some coffee shop. The dude working the floor was great though. read more

I took my daughter shopping here. She chose the place. She earned money and wanted to spend it here. Everything went as normal while shopping but when it came time to check out the total was $50.23. My daughter handed over $60.00. Once the associate had money in their hand they told my daughter that their is a change shortage and they don't have change so he would give her $8.00 in return. My kiddo is 13 years old. She nods okay. I stopped him and asked if the store doesn't have change then shouldn't the store give the .23cents discount instead of taking .77 cents from their customer?? I mean it isn't the customer that is falling short it's the store. He again repeated himself like a robot. I then said you haven't even opened your drawer to see if you have change or not. So your jacking your customers he thought I said begging. Then he responded not like a robot but very condescending. I calmly snapped back and repeated myself clarifying a little Clearer and louder I said jacking you know stealing taking. I was in line behind my daughter. I myself was going to purchase a little over 100.00 in merchandise. I gave my daughter .23 cents and gave them my items because I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!! To have a store policy that takes from customers is insane!!! If every customer said okay to the store keeping .77 cents more or less that means H&M are coming up on a whole Yearly salary for nothing!! It's despicable and disgusting!! read more

This is the dustiest dirtiest store I've seen in a mall before. Most places would be more diligent with cleaning given we're still dealing with Covid, but every single item in this store is coated in dust and it actually creates little clouds each time you lift or touch an item. Their sunglass and accessory display is covered in grimes finger prints too. I've worked brick-and-mortar retail before and I'd guess they have dusted or wiped things down in at least 3 months. read more

I have shopped at the store many times and rarely have to return, the male white manager at men's section was making it difficult for return. He said since they resell the returned cloth in resellable condition, they don't take return that has minor mark on it. I don't know how the chocolate mark got on the cloth, but it can be easily wash off with water. His customer service was lacking because it is either his way or highway. His clerk (black lady) was the same way when I cleaned off the mark with water and returned to the store second time, seriously lacking customer service . read more

I'm being nice by giving this place 2 stars . The place was cleaner than it's been in a few years and a lot more organized . It wasn't super busy but I wasn't greeted nor offered and help with two associates in the baby section . They decided to ignore me and speak only to themselves as they laughed and talked about whatever it was that was more important than helping the customer LOL . The cashiers seemed very friendly but they were preoccupied with other customers so that was understandable . I didn't even get to ask a question they just played and talked and pretended to work but like hey that's what they filled out an application and did an interview to do right ? Unprofessional and rude would be an understatement . I would say this is why nobody comes into the store and actually purchases at the Southcenter location and heads straight to Bellevue but there's a service difference in these two locations . The staff was absolutely terrible. I have worked enough customer service jobs to know what is right and what is wrong. The staff said they couldn't take my size off the mannequin. It was the only large left and there was not any in the back. I think the staff was to lazy to take the time to redress the mannequin. They kept saying "we can't take it off unless it is the last of the product". Terrible service. read more

H&M is total overload! But, in a good way! Where can i go to pick up a cute, super hip peacoat for less than a $100? H&M! Rad t-shirts that look vintage-y without the uber hipster price tag? H&M! Where can I visually overload in the sheer volume of all the neon fabrics? You guessed it....H&M! I've always been a fan of H&M and all the different styles they offered. Over the years my personal style has changed but H&M never fails to encourage me to pull out my credit card and buy at least one little thing each visit. There are some definite bargains to be found here. I had a friend once tell me that they never went into an H&M because it looked too trendy, too young and too "into themselves". Even though the customer service is pretty blah in this location, I can say that in any other H&M I've been too folks have been really nice and eager to help. Prepare to wait in line, especially at the dressing rooms--this place is BUSY! They have clothing for men and women and seriously something for anyone. read more

I was so excited when I heard that H&M was opening in WA. I had experienced it in NYC and didn't think it'd ever come out to the W Coast. This location at Southcenter is one of the larger ones in the region with 2 floors and a good amount of floor space. I have a love/hate with them as of late since it seems they are catering more to the 'plus' size as clothes even in the 'normal' section seems to be extra sized. If it does not hang well, it will not sell. It's common retail knowledge. As a buyer myself, I don't want to insult their buyers but it just seems their trends/styles aren't on par and/or the quality just looks cheap and poorly put together. I'm still a fan as you can find the diamond in the rough but it sure is a hit or miss from month to month. read more

when the basic t shirts are 5.95 I usually get 3 or 4. Great layout too, love the escalator. Also has an elevator. A friend of mine yesterday (around 4pm) catches a man taking photo of her while she was about to trying on clothes inside the H&M Southcenter 2nd floor dressing room. She observed a cellphone above the wall between hers and that person room. She immediately went out and knock the door next to. A guy (25-35yrs/white/tall) She explained that she sees a cellphone taking photo while she is about to changing and ask if he can show to her his phone. But he refused to show his phone, and said that could be someone else. So ridiculous, because she went out right after she observe the cellphone, how come a different client comes in in 2 seconds, she calls more people for help. However, after the employees come down and check there is no picture in his phone. He is good to go, I was so mad when I heard this from her. My friend was in danger and that crazy guy is free in the society. Seriously. H&M should have separate fitting room for male and female, what happen if she shy and went out without saying anything because of her mental breakdown? Or what if this happen to the kids? Or something even worse than that? We love the store, we love H&M's clothing but we never thought this could happen to us. So please, be consider about this as a serious case. I love shopping at H&M! This one is my favorite locations in Washington that I've been to as far as selection and layout of the store (two floors - the bottom is men's with the top women's). I was able to walk out with 4 new sweaters for around $100 that are great prints and style. They always carry some of the best and most affordable ready to wear items when you don't have the money to fork out at high end boutiques or Nordstroms. read more
