He said "yes" and asked her to pick a place. My niece provided a list of restaurants: Mr. Dimsum Marugame Udon Cheesecake Factory Sushi Hanami Kizuki Ramen and Izakaya We met for ramen... even though there's an Olive Garden at this mall... LOL! Parking was free, easy, and plentiful! Inside, Southcenter was beautiful, modern, gigantic, clean, air-conditioned, and well-lit. We'll have to return when we have more time! They've turned a simple mall into a labyrinth of idiocy and confusion! I WILL NEVER BE BACK! I came in looking for warby parkers and left completely pissed off! I asked a security guard where it was, she directed me to Lens Cracters...I ASKED for directions to warby parkers! I went into Lens Crafters and asked where Parkers was...this yahoo said to go out, take a right, another right and 1 more right. That basically put me back where I initially started but more pissed off than before. When I finally found it I was completely blown by their response to Molina or having Medicare. Apparently, after giving my personal information, I'm ineligible to receive services without having to pay full price and hope for reimbursement...Yeah, I'm Spent!! read more

We visited the mall along the way home. It's a good size mall. Lots of eateries, shopping and it even has a small library in the mall. It is very well lit with tall window ceilings. A good place to leisurely walk around and visit. Lots of new stores opening soon at this location. You have a supermarket at the end of the mall. Right next to it, is Red Ribbon Bakeshop for Ubes type of bread. Next is Jollibee, the popular fried chicken shop. Most days there is a line to order during the busy times. All of the shops are next door to each other. A one stop shopping experience here. read more

Went here with my family for their first time to capture Santa photos. Did walk-in instead of reservation and had to wait an hour. Horrendous because you could just lie and say that u booked a reservation to go faster in line. They did not verify reservations with people who claimed to be so, so instead, everyone came in on that side of the line was front-loaded, even if they came hours after their reservation...they should have taken two parties from the reservation and then one party from the walk-in line to ensure that both lines were moving. genuinely heinous with how it was run, but the people who were in charge of this activation seemed so lost lol anyway, I got this $10.81 order from bask in n Robbins bc my dad was craving ice cream. Staff was chill, but they do noooo samples at this location, which sucks. read more

This mall is already the busiest and/or most successful mall in the area, I believe, and it has really come alive lately. Tons of new restaurants - still more on the way, including Haidilao this summer. Little kiosks that grew up to to be storefronts like Potato Corner. Very large Filipino junction from Seafood City all the way to the next corridor (filling up much more than before, with Bayani Commercial getting a spot). Hopping at all hours. In the daytime, there are lots of mall walkers. I love the way this mall shows up for holidays, too. Right now they have great photo opps for Easter - either selfies or you can sit with the Easter bunny beneath a lovely wisteria. read more

This is the best large mall I've found in WA State, as there are many crappy smaller malls. The food choices are pretty good, though I tend to stick to Mexican! I love seeing families at this mall. This is one of the most diverse malls in Seattle and there is a strong nostalgia factor to when KB Toys was there. The mall has all of the mainstream shops and big box stores but it's the people, the teen fashion, haircuts, and vibe of community that has not changed in decades. Even post pandemic, this mall is vibrant, there is an energy, and the parking is always accessible. The restaurants have gotten better and the remodels and refreshes feel clean and spacious. This is a mall in which you want to linger and hang out for hours, build your Lego, and try to get as many samples as possible. Some malls, I want to be in and out and the string scents really turn me off. Bathrooms are also very clean which is a plus and security is present and on top of things. This is great for parents. Being from the Midwest, our malls pale in comparison. Visiting Seattle for the weekend and my cousin (who resides in Tacoma) took me here. The mall is huge. We didn't even go upstairs to the food court. There's Macys, JCP, Nordstrom, various places to get your phone fixed or a new case, several snack spots (French fries, juices, coffee, candies). Two candy stores handed out samples; a sugary gummy reminiscent of a sour patch kid and one spot with hazelnut chocolate. Aldo's, MAC, Sephora, Michael Kors, Abercrombie, Foot Locker. If you want to shop for it, this mall most likely has the retail store. read more

This mall is larger than the one in Puyallup and I don't mind the drive. I rarely go to the mall unless I need to or when my daughter wishes me to accompany her. What's going on with this mall? I used to love this mall and found it to be more cu rant and lively, but lately it just feels dead. I'm not sure if it's because of the weather or even the economy, but I don't enjoy walking around here anymore unless I absolutely have to go here for specific stores. The go to mall in the greater Seattle area since I was a kid. It's the best bang for your buck mall if you want stores that range from cheap to expensive. It has an awesome movie theater as well! AMC for the win. read more

We needed some place to hang for a few hours while we waited for our son to finish his shift at the airport and what better place to spend it than at the mall? Our hotel offered a free shuttle to the mall by making an online reservation so we took advantage of it. A pretty large one and well maintained appearance-wise. There is a movie theater, a food court, restaurants, shops, a Daiso! (we lost ours recently so this was a big deal to us), anchored by Macy's and JCPenney and entertainment. The diversity of Seattle is reflected in the stores in the mall. We finished our day with dinner at Din Tai Fang to get our fix of soup dumplings. If you like to eat and shop, stop here! read more

Ah, Southcenter Mall! It's really the creme de la creme for the Seattle metro area for stores that "you and I" know. Meaning familiar and comfortable stores that you see in any mall. Sure, there is some "leveling up" from even this mall but you'd need to go to Bellevue for that in which there you will simply get overwhelmed with gentrified looking, unaffordable and in theory well made merchandise from stores you may have vaguely heard from the TV or a movie but never really seen one before... unless you count the ones in Las Vegas where it's all Roman themed type of stores. So you're comfort level can remain the same as if were any other mall because most stores you've probably seen with your own eyes in real time. This mall has several stories so you can definitely spend a lot of time roaming the place and even outside the mall there is a large amount of businesses, especially restaurants where you have a very nice variety of them to pick from. Traffic flow can be a challenge especially if it's off of I-5 but as long as nobody neglects in their duties or suddenly forgets how to drive and causes an accident the back log and flow moves along steadily and you just have to summon patience from yourself and keep telling yourself once you're in the mall it will all be worth it. For me though this characteristic and reassuring oneself around Christmas time simply does not work as the back log to get to the mall increases dramatically so avoiding getting in the wrong lane where everyone must simply and desperately shop at this place all at once and just cruise on into Seattle. Generally my visits here are worth it and I do enjoy myself. I often buy something here too... usually a small and inexpensive impulse buy. But if you have any desire to take on a mallrat status... which I know I'm dating myself since it's a 90's term then this is the place to go. read more

Great food & drinks ! We had Cesar as a server and he was very helpful and overall friendly. We had the Cadillac Margarita and it's a MUST! We also had the butterfly Margarita and it was delicious too but on the sweet side. Portions are generous and the atmosphere is beyond perfect. We will definitely be back! read more

Went here to celebrate my birthday yesterday. I hadn't been here in a very long time. There are so many shops, restaurants, and more. It's a bit overwhelming. Much better than our local mall. I tried on things at Macy's and Nordstrom. I had lost a lot of weight and wanted to see what my size might be now. There wasn't much of a selection for me at Nordstrom. I need basically tunic-like length of shirts. We went to Fuego as well. One of my fave stores. That was great to see. There was an impressive candy store. There was a huge food court. Plus, a lot of restaurants. We tried to find Seafood City market, but couldn't. I don't think I saw Daiso either. We might come back much sooner than last time. read more

Coming here to spend some time before our flight, which takes place six hours from now. I was on a call, actually in class because my teacher was in England and really chose to hold a four hour class during Spring Break. This meant that my husband and the grands went around and saw parts of the building that I never saw. We were visiting in Aug and decided to go through as we were killing time before our flight. Southcenter Mall has an UFO History exhibit by the old Sears. Looks like Sears did not last very long after opening up again. They lacked inventory and had poor quality clothing when I walked in there when they reopened. I grew up going to the Sears in Sodo. My Dad took me to buy school clothes. They had a great Candy Counter with Popcorn. As an adult, I bought a TV there. If they were open when I was looking for a Washer, I would of bought a Kenmore brand. Getting back to UFOs. Burien, WA hosts an UFO Festival with live music, vendors and the Historical Museum is open for free with lectures. I heard an UFO. Lecture there. WA State has gotten the most UFO sightings per Capita . My friend in N. Bend saw one hovering there before it speed up. There is an UFO Meetup too. I tried to look for Xmas Displays in the Hallways here but can't find much. There are people here roaming. Earlier I went upstairs to AMC theaters to see a Chinese movie. I usually go to the Kent AMC but they don't show any Asian Films. I like the Kizuki Kabuki Artwork. So sharing it. read more

So people say this is a ghetto mall but I think otherwise. I always enjoy coming here to eat at the different restaurants (DTF, Jollibee, 85°) just to name a few. Round One is also a great place to hangout and I love the stores they have in there. A lot of great shops. read more

This place is the bomb! It's got to be one of the best malls I've been to. There is something here for everyone! What sets them apart from the rest is the fact that they have a bowling alley, movie theater, library and Seafood City Market. CHINESE NEW YEAR AT WESTFIELD MALL. They really do this up. They gave out chocolate coins. And, there were apparently events from 10 -2. We arrived at 1:30, so we didn't get to see much except one lady doing a scarf dance. Other than that, the decorations were really great, especially the giant dragon--definitely something to see. The Vans store has A board inside the entrance that said ANY shoe purchase get another sale shoe 50% off. So my aunt and I go through and she tries on maybe 4-5 van shoes, checkerboard style slip ons, and also one blue laces shoe. Decide on two, head to checkout and they both come up regular price. We ask them where the 50% price is, and they responded it's only 50% if the shoe is on sale and only on the maroon colored checkerboard slip on shoe. Dishonesty at its best, false advertising and why would you not say only what sale items and only 1 color, lamest business I have ever experienced shady crap by Vans company. The mall has an enormous food court and three levels within the mall, which includes an AMC Theater. Even though this mall is huge and has a variety of stores and restaurants. It is not a safe location to bring family. There's always fights, thefts, and shootings. Most recently shooting was yesterday Saturday 3/8/25. It's not a place to walk around and window shop. Either you go straight to the store you need to shop from or just shop somewhere else. Wow! Has this place changed since my last visit, maybe a decade ago! The space is large, clean and bright. Stores seem to have upgraded their look and feel, while restaurants abound in and around the shopping center. We were pleasantly surprised to also find a branch of the KCLS inside. read more

do not go to perfume obsession. i bought a perfume there for 100 dollars, i go home and look online and it is $25-50. i call the store to ask about the return policy and apparently they dont do returns, only exchanges, and you can't even open the plastic casing on the box or they won't take it. this store is a scam and money grab. please do not waste your money like i did.
