They had a free concert. It was in front of the theater. It was very good jazz. They had the road blocked off and they had a bunch of vendors.

Pretty cool spot on place in the heart of Kent. I was hanging around here while waiting for my wife to finish her jury duty. There's so much to check out from shopping to dining and maybe checking out the latest movies at AMC. A bunch of cool places here. Parking is also around the area and it's free!

This is a smallish open-air shopping area in the downtown area of Kent. Perfect for it's convenience with it being near the rail station. There are quite a few varying restaurants. Also perfect for entertainment as there is an AMC theater and a sports bar. It also has a branch of the Green River College here as well as the Social Security Office. I frequent Panera Bread for breakfast. Dilletante is convenient when I'm craving hot chocolate. Red's Wine Bar is a perfect hangout with my girlfriends. The RAM is great for groups. Banyan Tree and Trapper's Sushi for Asian. Johnny Rockets and wing stop for a quick stopover. Mama Stortinis has great happy hour. There are many more dining options that I haven't mentioned. You have varying random shops as well. Game Stop is one I frequent to fulfill my geeky needs. Road Runner Sports for sporting equipment. The LOFT and Zumiez for clothes. GNC, Buds N Blooms and many more.. oh and you can get your tan at Seattle Sun Tan while you're in the area. There's never a shortage of parking. You have the option of parking in the multi-level parking garage. There's parking in the front and the back as well. I've never had an issue with finding a spot. I think the city did a wonderful job of adding this open-air mall and making sure it's clean and not crime-ridden. I never feel like I'm unsafe walking on my own late at night to my car.

Had a few hours to burn after I landed in Sea-Tac and used Yelp! to find a place called Pizzeria Fondi, which had 4 1/2 Stars, and located in Kent Station. Having never been here before, we were lost and to make matters worse, there was a city-wide festival going on and we walked right into a Parade! It was hilarious..... Anyway, it turns out that the Pizza place we came all the way over to Kent for had closed 1 week ago! So, we stopped by RAM Brewery for lunch instead.....that was a good move, I'll write a separate review of RAM later. Kent Station reminds me a lot of Town Square back in Vegas, which is one of my favorite shopping areas. I like how Kent Station has a 'downtown' feel to it with outdoor shopping. I also spotted an outdoor public fireplace where you can sit fireside and hang out with your friends....cool! I wish we had something like that in Vegas. There are a ton of shops and restaurants to choose from, looks like fun. Will I return? If I'm in the area, you bet!

It's a one-stop shop for groceries, baked goods, bubble tea and other Asian drinks, multiple Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean restaurants, a Chinese apothecary, and home goods (from furniture and decor to a kitchen stove store), a couple hair salons, a nail salon, karaoke restaurant and last but not least a bank branch. 99 Ranch is a big draw as the largest Chinese supermarket in the nearby area, both it and Mei Wa bakery next door carry Chinese steamed buns and pastries. I'll be honest in terms of selection, prices (and flavors/techniques for Mei Wa), these are kinda average though are enough to satisfy if you have a craving. Mama Dough and Seoul Tofu are solid restaurants from eating at each 2-3 times. Mia Sugarcane produces some delicious sugarcane drinks though nowadays on the pricier side. Boba Tea Lab is pretty standard bubble tea. I've yet to try Big Bowl Spicy Cuisine and several others, including LiuYiShou Hotpot which is one of the newer restaurants, that also has 22 other locations in North America including NYC, SF, Chicago, Boston, and Vancouver and Toronto areas in Canada. All in all very convenient and generally clean and easy to get around. Very popular so during peak weekend times expect a very full parking lot; the spaces are also tight so you have to be careful when parking and opening car doors.

The rest of the spaces are somewhat bigger, but anytime we go, whether early in the morning, afternoon or evening time, the place is hella crowded!!! Hard to find a frickin' parking space. The different restaurants, Bubble Tea places and 99 Ranch Asian grocery store inside the shopping mall are fine to go to from time to time. There are a number of Boba joints, Chinese bakeries, a Dumpling place, Chinese food places, a hair salon, an herbal medicine store, and a few other vendors. Has a good variety of Asian retail businesses. Been to Mama Dough, Bambu, 99 Ranch and a couple of others and have received great customer service for the most part. The Korean restaurant was my favorite when it was open, but their service was so-so even though the food was great. Prices kept increasing every year and portion sizes kept getting smaller, though.

Shopping and dining in Seattle, Washington…read more.. My high school classmate suggested that we meet at Southcenter for dinner. I asked him, "Do you think that my niece will know that place?" He said "yes" and asked her to pick a place. My niece provided a list of restaurants: Mr. Dimsum Marugame Udon Cheesecake Factory Sushi Hanami Kizuki Ramen and Izakaya We met for ramen... even though there's an Olive Garden at this mall... LOL! Parking was free, easy, and plentiful! Inside, Southcenter was beautiful, modern, gigantic, clean, air-conditioned, and well-lit. We'll have to return when we have more time! THE LANDING @ RENTON…read more Parking is available throughout multiple lots, but it is mostly street parking and can get extremely busy. One downside of this spot is how crowded it gets due to the number of stores in the area, along with limited parking that is also used by employees. While you're usually able to find a spot, be prepared for some walking, as the complex is fairly spread out. I really like The Landing. It's located in Renton right off the 405 freeway at Exit 5, which makes it very accessible. The area has a great mix of food options, including Red Robin, Korean barbecue, Thai food, and even a movie theater. The layout is well spread out and the area is especially known for its Asian cuisine. I definitely recommend taking your time to walk around, especially on the weekends when it's lively and busy. It's also conveniently located next to a park, which adds to the experience. The selection here is mostly food-focused, with limited shopping options such as Ulta Beauty and Target. Overall, the value of this place is decent, though it does lean more toward the expensive side due to its touristy feel. Despite that, I still recommend stopping by.
