Shopping and dining in Seattle, Washington…read more.. My high school classmate suggested that we meet at Southcenter for dinner. I asked him, "Do you think that my niece will know that place?" He said "yes" and asked her to pick a place. My niece provided a list of restaurants: Mr. Dimsum Marugame Udon Cheesecake Factory Sushi Hanami Kizuki Ramen and Izakaya We met for ramen... even though there's an Olive Garden at this mall... LOL! Parking was free, easy, and plentiful! Inside, Southcenter was beautiful, modern, gigantic, clean, air-conditioned, and well-lit. We'll have to return when we have more time! I saw some cute stores (like Pop Mart, Daiso, BoxLunch, and Build-a-Bear) as we walked to the restaurant!

I asked a security guard where it was, she directed me to Lens Cracters...I ASKED for directions to warby parkers! I went into Lens Crafters and asked where Parkers was...this yahoo said to go out, take a right, another right and 1 more right. That basically put me back where I initially started but more pissed off than before. When I finally found it I was completely blown by their response to Molina or having Medicare. Apparently, after giving my personal information, I'm ineligible to receive services without having to pay full price and hope for reimbursement...Yeah, I'm Spent!!

Seems like Target, BK, and Starbucks are the "bigger stores," while there are several other resturant/cafes to choose from, some beauty store (that is not what I expected!), Chase, etc. The Target just might be the best thing about this place. It's recently revamped to look a lot cleaner and open open, and you can grab all sorts of home good supplies there on the way home after you've gone shopping at Westfield that's located right accross the street.

This location has a little something for everyone, with plenty of parking available for you to find a central place and walk the stores easier than finding close parking. Located near here is the Tukwila Pond park and adjacent natural reserve designed to recreate the wetlands that were lose when these malls, parking lots, and warehouses all went in and displaced nature. Turned out that water needed somewhere to go, and city planners chose this area. You will find easy access from transit here as well, and it is a short distance on bicycle from the Green River Trail, making this a high traffic shopping area for any shopper.

Shopping in Tukwila, Washington…read more.. I wanted to get a sponge holder for my niece's kitchen and I thought that I could find one at Daiso. I had purchased other sponge holders at different Daiso stores, so... I was hopeful. This Daiso was located at Westfield Southcenter... a super huge mall with free parking and a clean environment! I went to the kitchen gadgets area and found white sponge holders with red Hello Kitty bows... perfect! It was just $2.25 plus tax! The woman at the self-checkout counter was very friendly and offered to help me. She scanned my items efficiently and cheerfully! I'll probably be back!

Went to this Daiso for the first time a few days ago and it was okay. Thought it'd have a better…read moreselection since it's in a mall, but it's actually more limited than the Daiso I go to on Aurora in Seattle and the one at Redmond Town Square (one of the best in Western WA). I looked for some Japanese cleaning tools and supplies and found an okay selection. I also looked for some stickers but their sticker endcap (not even an aisle) was lacking. So, it was worth it to visit to see what this Daiso had to offer, but I am not sure if I'd come back.

Plus they had a poor quality. I went in there looking for hunters and UGGs and they had a very poor quality as well as a poor attitude for the manager, as well as the shoe salesman. I definitely will not go back there. Matter of fact, I'll spend my money at a whole different store. They've just lost a long time customer and this isn't the first time I've gotten bad service from them. It seems to be getting worse and worse every year.
