I was visiting Tysons Corner in July 2023 and noticed the Old Navy store has moved locations within the mall. It has a bright new space on the upper level just next to Bloomingdale's (across from the American Girl Store). Service seems to have improved compared with the old location next to the Barnes & Noble bookstore. Overall, this Old Navy store is easy to navigate with a convenient central fitting room in the back left area. No more "shower curtain" fitting rooms in the middle of a section against a wall (which is probably better for privacy and reducing theft). The move occurred recently (late 2022 or early 2023?), so it's worth taking a second look if you haven't been here in a while. Old Navy is a good option for casual clothes or boxers that are not overly expensive. However, I would say it's no longer dirt-cheap - especially after the 2022 price inflation wave. read more

It's ok. I'm going to have to confess not my type of store. They've occasionally worked for cheap sweat pants, or a sweatshirt for outdoor stuff. Their prices are good, as for quality I add the caveat, that I'm a destroyer of all clothing and equipment. Definitely am happy they don't have the annoying television commercials anymore. At least I haven't seen any for awhile. When my son was younger I got good socks for him here. Now he's older so no real need for that. I will say this store is clean. Also it is well organized. Located all the way at the end of the mall. Still the go to for pajama bottoms and throw on shirts. Tons of merchandise. They always seem to have a sale so you can over look the incredibly long line to checkout. No worries they actually sell drinks (water/soda) and candy before you get to the cashier. Always wish they had more cashiers but I will say the staff is NICE and professional. Leaves you with a nice customer experience. OMG! Check out like is 20 people deep, there were three cashiers "available" and the line is literally CRAWLING! Correction, two of the cashiers were talking to each other, and only one was actually working. Old Navy Baby has got it going on! Since my daughter's birth, I've had to restock her with a full closet five times already and it's only been a year. Old Navy's countless sales (sign up for their emails to be in the know), fast cash promotions, and clearance on top of clearance sections has allowed me to do this task without going completely bankrupt. I have a certain aesthetic when it comes to dressing the bebe, and I'm happy to say that she's been able to rock that monochromatic, gender neutral look with no problem. If you like frilly pink, cartoon character type outfits they have that too (I'm counting down the days until she starts showing a preference for these!). Even the hubs has been able to find some fun superhero themed pajamas for her as well. Out of all the Old Navys in the area, the Tysons location has the biggest selection which means their clearance section is a gold mine! I'll see you at the rack... read more

I love Old Navy baby and toddler clothes for affordable, stylish stuff for my little, and they even have Mommy & Me / family-matching outfits to complete my desire to constantly coordinate with my daughter at all possible times. This Old Navy is nice, big, and has a great selection if you want to see things in-store vs. purchase online, and their staff is always very friendly. That said, this store always seem to be woefully under-staffed at the registers -- every time I've come, the check out lines have always taken foreeeeever. I don't know if it has to do with their checkout process, training, or just the number of people they have manning the registers at most times, but I have never had an expedited or speedy time leaving this store. I can't believe this Old Navy has more stars than the Fair Lakes Promenade one. This store is pretty rough. The baby section looks like a bomb hit it. Newborn clothes are right next to toddler clothes and everything is on the wrong hangers. I was willing to do a little bit of digging though, especially for things with discounts. The front section by the registers had things like candy and Chapstick for sale, and that section was pretty gross. I'm talking random powders and unclean bins which I would expect out of TJ Maxx but not Old Navy. I had some super cash to use which specifically says on it that there are no restrictions. The sales clerk would not let me use it on clearance clothes. She also pushed the Old Navy credit card extra hard, and when I didn't want to get one, she seemed to think it was because I wouldn't get approved. I can't imagine how dire of a financial situation I'd have to be in for that to be the case. The next day, since I still had super cash burning a hole in my pocket, I went over to the Fair Lakes Promenade Old Navy. I specifically asked the clerk what restrictions existed, and she let me know that there were no restrictions. This was pretty annoying to hear because I was unable to use my super cash the night before, so it changed what I had purchased. read more

Dear Old Navy cashier, I realize that being an Old Navy cashier is probably not your life's dream. I also realize that it's winter and flu season is upon us and not everyone has the luxury of having sick days. HOWEVER, I still maintain that it is quite unseemly (to say the least) for you to PICK YOUR NOSE while ringing me up and then paw my new purchases with your snot hand. I also maintain that it's also unseemly to be offended when I ask you to 1) not touch my purchases, I'll put them in the freaking bag myself and 2) to use a damned kleenex. Now I'm sure that I hurt your feelings, and for that, I apologize, but you must be aware how disgusting that is. Just imagine how you would have felt if I picked my nose and using the same booger encrusted finger, handed you my credit card to swipe? Disgusting, no? From the speed (and I use that term loosely) in which you run me up, I'm quite sure that you're only seasonal help. So I probably won't see you again. Came here last week, and got 7 items that were on sale and it came to $122.85, and that was after saving $61.26! The only thing is, my Wife came in here after me and the person at the register asked her if she wanted to sign up for their card, she turned it down, but they had never offered it to me even though I would have turned it down as well. Old Navy goes through phases. One year their clothes are cute and the next you can't even look at their items. I will say though, I absolutely love their jewelry :) They have a lot of cute and fun items to purchase. Every time I go into this store I get in touch with the amount of jewelry I walk out with! ugh... the struggle of an addict! The staff isn't as friendly as you would think they would be in such a small store. They all seem, mmm...how do i want to put this, "out of it"? I think that's the best way to describe them. I've been shopping at Old Navy for years and I think it's going to hit rock bottom in the next few years if it doesn't really make a positive change, to both it's stores, employees and the quality of their clothes. Everyone has been to Old Navy and this is the same old store! Cheap clothes and not the highest of quality. I was able to get a couple t-shirts for $5 each. Decent. This store is so tiny! The racks are so close together it's difficult to navigate the store without ninja skills! There are always clothes out of place. It's a rare occasion that someone asks if I need help, or greets me. The last time I was there I had an arm full of clothes and no one offered me a bag. I was, however, allowed to take about 15 items in the dressing room...yay for me, but that's a no-no for them! If you do make it to a purchase you will need a lot of patience... there are hardly ever more than two people on a register, even when the line is around the store. It's usually pretty cheap (especially during sales) and the quality is fine for me. They've got an extensive selection in the men's department, although it definitely skews heavily in favor of casual clothing versus more professional attire. But that's fine; you don't go to TGI Friday's expecting Michelin-rated quality and you don't go to Old Navy expecting Brooks Brothers finesse. Only real issue is that like most clothing shops you might be waiting in line for a while. read more

They are beyond just a regular Old Navy, with great accessories selections, and a lot of random, fun impulse buys at the front. And when it breaks down, you can discard it with ease as it didn't rip a hole in your bank account. I just want to start off by saying, I get working the pandemic is hard.. However i feel like that doesn't give you the right to be rude to your customers. This old navy is ridiculously unorganized and scattered. Clothes are literally all over the place. I was interested in these workout pants that had a sign that said buy one get one 50% off there literally everywhere !!! We go up to purchase, and for some reason it doesn't ring up. she called a "leader " and the the leader calls the manger , mind you manger i believe her name is KIM LITERALLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, having a whole conversation with a sales associate, turns around to look at us and continue talking... she finally decided to come over and "help" , and argue that they were buy one get one 50% off even there are signs all over the store. The Team Lead (plus size woman) was very rude and not helpful with a return all. I was charged the day prior for things I never purchased. The pants that I purchased were on sale but they never put them in the bag. Today I went back to purchase the pants and I had to pay full price. Despite Tysons Corner being one of the premier shopping centers in the DC area, I've always found this Old Navy lacking. While my experience only deals with the mens department (a shock, I know) there seems to be a general lack of organization and order when it comes to the merchandise. More often than not, it seems, items are incorrectly tagged with their sized, left in the wrong area, or simply out of stock altogether. I've learned my lesson and now generally go to the Old Navy stores in Springfield and Fair Lakes, which seem to be much better run. read more

While typically crowded, this Old Navy seems to have the best selection of workout gear on sale. Be sure to pick through the sizes though since pricing seems arbitrary and one pair of pants can be priced with 3 or more different prices. The checkout is usually long, but what can I say, I'm a sucker for a good deal. They sell healthier snack options at checkout which gets me EVERY time I go because I'm usually traveling with niblets in tow but Pirate Booty and Pop Chips are usually a small price to pay for happy campers. read more
