At first when we walked in there was no one there to greet us, maybe because it was a Wednesday when they first opened and it was the low season, but I still think someone should be there to greet you. I would have taken a star away for that but our server made up for it. She was attentive and very nice. The views were beautiful and you can see all the boats, seals, and birds. If the weather is nice that day I highly recommend sitting outside. We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous day. I got the Baked Polenta Cake and my husband got the special omelette of the day that had sausage and veggies with potatoes. Let's take a minute for my chai tea latte though. They make their own chai tea base and when it comes out it is GORGEOUS! The edible glitter made me feel fancy. It definitely put my husband's boring coffee to shame. But, he did say the coffee was very good. Overall we would definitely come back for brunch. My husband wants to try out a happy hour as well.

The food was exquisite -- the crab ravioli and crab cakes were phenomenal appetizers, and my entrée, a fish stuffed with crab meat, was so good I'm still thinking about it. Everyone on staff was friendly and genuinely talkative -- they even kept us updated on the 49ers score. And the setting was something else. We ate outside under the heaters with the fog rolling in over the canal by the harbor and the seals barking in the distance. We got the bacon, cheese, and bacon omelet with a side of potato's and a biscuit. You have choices of toast, pancake, or biscuit. As for potatoes you could have gotten a potato patty instead. The servings were huge. We only ate half and were full. Now we have leftovers for tomorrow's breakfast. The potatoes were real fresh potatoes. Some still had the sling on them. They were cooked on the griddle. I should have asked for mine extra crispy as I like crispy potatoes. They weren't salty or really seasoned at all so I added some salt and paired it with ketchup. Very tasty. The omelette was chuck full of crispy bacon and avocado , it could have used more cheese. The biscuit was light and flaky, but it lacked the buttery flavor. For dessert, we had the grasshopper ice cream cake. Simply put, this sh*t hit. If you like mint chocolate chip ice cream, this is a no-brainer.
