Scammers. I was told by the main office the charge for a residential lock out would be $45, and a $20 service fee. Which you would think would add up to $65... Before the arrival, Ron the technician called to confirm the location. I asked what the charge was for a lock out to ensure the price quoted from the office was correct because I've been scammed multiple times before. Ron was very insistent that he would charge close to the office quote. When the locksmith arrived, Ron tried to tell us the inside deadbolt was locked... which is impossible since no one was inside the apartment. When we said that can't be, Ron then tried to say it was the other deadbolt that can be locked from the outside (which once again was impossible because we would need the key to lock it in the first place). When we told him how that couldn't be, he tried telling us there was a STICK stuck in the door jamming it. From the get go we told him it was the doorknob that was locked however he never even checked the doorknob. The difficulty of the lock ~varies~ the price. Mind you, this unlocking process took less than 2 minutes once he finally checked the doorknob. Not a complicated lock... yet he charged us $100. The website says if there is a change in the price quoted the technician will notify you before getting started on the lock. Which Ron never did. In summary, not pleased. P.S. Ron did not wear a mask. Nor did he attempt to stay 6 ft away because he said he'd already had COVID... but that just disregards/undermines my roommate and I's safety. read more

Our lock had fallen out of the door except for the deadbolt that was stuck in place. They charged us $70 just to come out. The guy spent 5 mins taking out the deadbolt then told us it'd be $450 for a whole new lock. No way. I went to Cothron's and paid $40 for the part I needed and replaced it myself. Okey Dokey tried to completely rip me off, and didn't talk pricing with me until AFTER taking the bolt out which left my house completely vulnerable. Definitely seemed like shady business. read more

MANNN, like many of you have experienced, 2020 has been such a b*tch to me!! And OF COURSE...i lock my keys in my car... Lucky for me, i stumbled upon "okey dokey locksmith" DJ answered the phone and quoted me a 20 min. "Ticket" time. And told me that a driver would call me when he was on his way! Ron called within 5 minutes. He verified my address and my situation and told me he would arrive in 20 min. The person came over and just replaced the existing deadbolt lock. And charges us $452. It's ridiculous how much they charge for $40 lock. Also i could've done that if i knew it would cost me this much. I would never use them again. read more

We contacted them at 9pm, to have an interior door unlocked, and were told they could be at the house in 30 minutes. We then got a return call 10 minutes later, saying they wouldn't be able to be at the house until 11:30pm at night (2.5 hours after the call). We told them that was too late and SCHEDULED a service call for 9am the next morning. We called that morning to (again) confirm that someone would be there at 9am, and they said yes. At 9:15, they called and told us it would be 10:30am before anyone would be there, however they didn't arrive until 11am. After spending an HOUR working on the lock, we were told they would have to send out a more 'experienced' locksmith to resolve the issue. It took that person (another) hour to show up and finally unlock the door. After waiting for more than 4 hours, the issue was resolved but NO APOLOGY or DISCOUNT was offered. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE - THEY ARE WORTHLESS and have no consideration for anyone else's time! read more

They strung me along from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, promising to show up at 4:00, then 5:00, then 7:00, then 9:00pm only to then say 9:30pm. They kept passing my request to a different locksmith, each time. They were going to charge $250 to install an electronic deadbolt. They may be fantastic but I'll never know because of the timing delays. Ultimately I found an excellent locksmith who charged $137.50, showed up on time and did a great job. Sorry Okey Dokey, this was a disaster. You're likely better than this. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 9 May and they never showed up. Representative admitted it was an error on his side and apologized. Then he guaranteed someone would show up by 9 am on Monday. They did not. Technician called at 8:39 said he had many other jobs and he's get them when he could / probably 2-3 hours. Rude as heck! We called another company and they were there within 45 minutes- professional!!! I will NEVER call Okey DoKey again. Most unprofessional and unorganized company!! Save your time and money. We agreed on a certain price to make a new key for my dodge journey. AFTER he finished the worked he tried to charge me an extra $100 over the price we agreed to. I refused to pay so he threatened to call the cops. I told him to go ahead so I can have his escorted off my property. After an altercation between us he started begging that I give him some money for the time he spent programming the key because he has five kids. I refused because of his attitude. He then said he will make it to where another tech wouldn't be able to start my car and that's exactly what he did. Its been over a month and I towed my car to 3 different dealerships and till this day no one can figure out what he did to my car. I am in the process of filing a law suit with this company. I called this company because of their high ratings ... I told the gentleman I was speaking to that i broke my 07 camry fob but needed to have the key cut. He yelled out something and the call dropped. I called back I explained again that the call dropped and he yelled NO and hung up on me!!! So I guess that means he hung up on me 2x's. read more

She didn't have all the equipment needed when she met up with us and asked is if we had a wifi hotspot she can use?? Wait whattt!!! So we had to wait on another driver to come out to help which he fix the problem in a matter of minutes! Also had the nerve to be rude and tell it was her day off!!! Again whattt!!! quoted me a price of 25$ service charge plus whatever tools the locksmith may need once he looked at what needed to be done. luckily we had only locked our screen-door and we showed it to the locksmith when he got there. took all of 2 minutes to get in, and he still tried to charge 150$. eventually he backed it down to 130$. but by this point i was mainly annoyed at not having done it myself.
