Great down-to-earth coffee shop. Small space, but good service and cozy digs. I got the Kyoto coffee and it was perfectly made, delicious and well roasted coffee. Quick service as well.

Rose Vanilla Latte (~$6) - A disposable paper cup containing a latte with foam on top is placed on a dark table outside a cafe. The cup has a cardboard sleeve with a logo that reads 'OK Cafe.' In the background, the cafe's entrance features glass doors, with two green benches and a small black table visible outside. The scene is illuminated by natural light, and the cafe's signage and window decals are partially visible.

Ordered: Rose Vanilla Latte (~$6): with almond milk Aya's take: Honestly, I really wanted to like this more and I'm definitely being generous with my 4/5 rating. I really want to give it a 3/5 but because it was still good, I'll go with 4/5. The Rose Vanilla Latte tasted more like a vanilla/honey blend than anything. I'm a sucker for rose, but I didn't get any essence of it in any sip. The Latte was warm, soothing, and sweet but it just didn't have the flavors I was expecting. I'm hesitant to come back but if I do, I'd probably try a different specialty drink on the menu.

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a green patterned dress, is smiling and holding a coffee cup with a logo on it inside a cafe. The cafe has wooden paneling and patterned upholstery, with natural light coming through large windows in the background.

Baristas are always very knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks are super unique and the coffee is very smooth. I love whatever blend they use. They have reusable (Gluten free) straws. They also have good pastries, including a whole shelf that is gluten free (celiac safe bc it's pre-packaged.) The graphic design is very beautiful too. A little pricy but it is local

Some Bites - The image shows a chalkboard menu with the word 'Empanadas' at the top, listing fillings like beef, chicken, and spinach, along with prices. In front of the menu, there is a green tray holding packaged cookies and a clear plastic container labeled 'Oatmeal & Muesli Cup $3.50,' which contains a mixture of oats and dried fruits or nuts. The background includes a counter with various items, indicating a food stand or cafe setting.

Tiny....but powerful. Being that we had just finished with lunch on Ditmars Blvd and had enough time before my daughter could catch her plane, my non-Yelp husband decided to come to this cafe on 33rd St in Astoria for some hot beverages. Damn right he was spot on. No indoor eating due to everything that's going on these days- but there's great coffee and other beverages from this space barely big enough to contain at least three baristas. My kid went for an Almond milk Latte and hubs decided on an Espresso. Both liked theirs. I put a Lavender London Fog order in- then noticed a Mexican Hot Chocolate on the menu. I intentionally bypassed it and thought it was done with that brown Hershey's syrup people all seem to love. Sure enough, when I asked if their Hot Chocolate has Hershey's (her look said it all), she turned around, cocked her neck and said, "no". My Lavender London Fog was just right without giving my drink that overkill "flowery" taste lavender usually gives when it isn't proportioned correctly. Dare I say, I regretted not going for their Mexican Hot Chocolate- on top of the Lavender London Fog I'd already ordered. To eat, there are cookies, savory items, at least 3 types of Empanadas and other Vegan bites on the menu. Service was awesome. And can I mention what my favorite thing (I have a few) about this place was? The space is a hideaway and just too damn cute- even with the chairs up for no-indoor eating the early Saturday afternoon we were here.

The photo captures the exterior of OK Cafe, featuring glass doors with the cafe's logo. Outside, there are green benches and a small black stool on the sidewalk. A chalkboard menu displays various beverages such as apple cider, pumpkin spice latte, and Mexican mocha. The storefront has string lights hanging above and a brick building with a window secured by metal bars. The scene is set on a sunny day with a clear blue sky and a few pedestrians in the background.

Embracing the non-chain, small business coffee shop for the win. Quaint, cozy and an ideal place to meet up with a friend or knock out some work. I selected the turmeric latte that was really good. The barista was helpful in her recommendation and made an excellent latte at a reasonable cost.

This cafe or small eatery is just that -okay-but, really not worth the hype. We found the breakfast sandwiches decent and the coffee decent, but they are definitely not worth a third look.

SPACE - small, intimate, cozy SERVICE - warm, friendly, helpful COFFEE - Counter Culture (Fast Forward Organic) - Americano double shot 8oz espresso NOTES - light roast, creamy texture, bright acidity, nutty - not bad but prefer med dark roast espresso over light RECOMMENDATIONS - looking forward to stopping by again to try other beans and brews!

Coffee is great, the ambiance is adorable, and the staff are friendly. I came in to pass some time while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. It was a rainy afternoon and I was so happy to spend some Time here. I sat in the window with my delicious coffee and enjoyed the community passing through. There are a whole bunch of great snacks and food items here. There is a hot chocolate that I am dying to try. There is also a cookie shop next door that would be great to dunk in the coffee here. There are also tasty treats here. I like that they cap the amount of time people can spend working if it's busy and that they encourage no screen time days.

Oh my goshhhh LOVE! This place is so cute, the baristas there are sweet and they love their locals & just being in there for 3 minutes whilst awaiting my cortado- the other barista starts talking to some local as if they were friends forever. I love the vibe & the energy was on point for just being there for a few minutes. If I was a neighborhood local in Astoria, this would be my spot. OK cafe is more than just OK, okuuuuuur keep being great you guys the cup was so goooood

As stated before, I finally came back to try the savory foods from Tea Cup Cafe!…read more Starting off, my fiancé ordered the Crispy Fish. The sauce that was served was absolutely delicious with the signature tanginess and sweetness of Thai food. The hot pot that I ordered was also enjoyed to the fullest! The food here was super good but also I love liver so I was glad they had a hot pot option that included that! After a delicious meal, we finished off with the mango bingsu which also was a huge hit! The bingsu was super fluffy and light! This meal was definitely worth it and didn't leave me feeling super heavy. The service was also great even though they were always full house with some parties waiting and only one person serving. I will be back next time to try their Thai barbecue which I saw people having and I could stop looking at! On top of all this, the server or manager even gave me a free Melona ice cream which I paired with the bingsoo after he saw that I was pregnant which I thought was super sweet. I don't live too far from here so I also want to add that even though I have not added a review, I always go to this restaurant to grab a coconut Thai milk tea to go (I am not even a huge Thai tea fan)! For some reason, I love the coconut thai tea from here and always find myself craving it.
