Service is awesome! Food is delicious and quick to order. Ambiance is nice and the building is very clean. I really love the musubi and the fries we had were perfectly cooked.

First visit after Covid Lockdown and remodel of this Subway in Wasilla, AK. Used to be occasional…read morecustomer for many years. Like many Restaurants today prices have increased. You be the judge of the value. The Interior is brighter a more attractive. Nicely decorated and better organized. The parking lot is in front of a busy highway (Parks). The restaurant has the same five wood steps up with a wrought iron railing on each side. Parking is free and sufficient unless you are driving more than one large tour bus. I didn't see a handicapped entrance but will correct it if they have one. Nothing in this review is intended to be negative to this particular business location or Subway in general. I and my family have been frequent customers for longer than I can remember but I believe almost 50 years. I am 79 and as long as I can remember there has been a subway in my life. For many years they were the major if not only on the East Coast. Today we have many excellent choices to choose from and some are regional only. Now to the "Meat" pun intended of this review. Since covid more than the prices have changed at Subway. The menu has changed and has more choices. It was harder to read for this senior 78 with glasses. But it is better organized with bold numbers, catchy names, and better pictures. The individual contents and prices of the sandwiches were what was hard for me to read. I ordered the "Beast", leg 12", with Parmesan-Jalapeno Bread, toasted with all the vegetables, except Guacamole. I made it a meal with a large fountain drink, and "Miss Vickie's" Jalapeno Chip" I added Oregano, Salt, Black Pepper, and the MVP Parmesan Vinaigrette sauce. The sandwich featured Pepperoni, Salami, Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, and my choice of PeperJack Cheese. Seeing my taste preferences? The ingredients were ample with good portions of double meat. The vegetables were fresh, clean, and favorable. The meat tasted excellent with the flavors of the Pepperoni, Salami, and Roast Beef standing out over the Ham, and Turkey. Not a bad thing as I still taste the others. The bread was fresh, toasted lightly with the cheese melted nicely, and the meat warm. The Chips were fresh, and crispy, with a strong flavor of Jalapeno. I choose the Aquia Berry XXX Vitamin Water which was strongly flavored, delicious, and healthy with low calories. The was overall excellent, much better than I remember. The bread was more flavorful and crusty. They have more flavors now. I normally order double meat and it appeared to be equal to before except for the more than double price, $7.50 vs $3.00 on a 12" Sub. The overall price of all the subs has increased but is not excessive. The young lady who waited on me was patient, friendly, efficient, and attentive to my desire for ingredients and excellent at her duties of making an outstanding Sub. This renewed design of Subway I believe will give their competitors a run in competition. It is good for groups, families, seniors, and the military. It has seating for over 30, is clean with bathrooms for customers. If you haven't tried Subway since the end of the Covid lockdown I urge you to give it a try.

Since I was too sick to really do anything, including go to the Yelp Elite event, he took pity on me and we went on a drive around the scenic valley. While we were cruising around we got hungry, so I utilized my Jersey Mike app to pre-order us some dinner, so all my husband had to do was pop in and pick it up. My husband tells me the shop is nicer and bigger than the one in Anchorage... what else is new. The Valley always gets bigger and better. Our sandwiches were made as expected with no errors. I order in Anchorage all the time and this one was exactly the same. I like that dependability. It helps that their cheesesteaks (not Philly- you Alaskan weirdos- I was born in Philly, Philly is a place not a fucking sandwich) are perfect. Since moving to Alaska from Jersey a decade and a half ago, I have been longing for a proper cheesesteak. This is as close as you are going to get, minus the stupid red peppers, which ABSOLUTELY MUST BE OMITTED. They do NOT belong on the sandwhich and ruin the entire flavor profile. Thankfully the app makes it very easy to modify your sandwich to your preferences. What I think is the true proof of the quality of the sandwich is if it needs condiments. This sub does not. I typically drown my cheesesteaks in ketchup. But this sandwich has the perfect balance of cheese and meat, and the meat had an excellent flavor with no gross chewy pieces. I have a really REALLY bad meat aversion, so bad that I was a vegetarian for 5.5 years, because I can't deal with tendons and miscellaneous meat appearances in my meal. But my love of cheesesteaks is literally what brought me back to carnivorous lifestyle. I'd die in a sword death for a proper cheesesteak. And Jersey Mike's has it going on.

Stopped in after working late this past weekend for takeout. Complete disappointment! Opened the sandwiches at home only to find dried out stale bread on both sandwiches we ordered. At the high price point for commercially prepared food these days that is completely unacceptable and we will never go back. We are going to stick with our local sub shop, Krazy Moose subs, which produces a far superior product. Have been going there for years and never had any problems. Fresh bread daily. Locally owned. No more franchise food for us! Update: Jersey Mike's replied to the above review and said they're "sorry." Then said they hoped we'd "come back in the future." Not a chance. Spent over $30 to get dried out puckered bread on not one but two sandwiches. Don't need any lame, insincere boilerplate 'apologies.' Our money goes elsewhere. Great job, people. Your Wasilla shop served dried out, puckered, stale bread instead of throwing it out and lost us as customers for life. Great business model. All to save a couple bucks on inventory. Way to go!
