I took my wife here for Mother's Day at her request. She asked for Thai food at a new restaurant. Our son and two grandchildren accompanied us as we had working in our yard all day. I used the Yelp to find this restaurant. It had great reviews which we learned were very deserving. We had a variety of dinners after three shared appetizers, Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls and Fried Calamari. The spring rolls with fresh vegetables and shrimp were delicious. The Fried Egg Rolls were crisp, with ground pork and vegetables, fried perfectly with no with no oily taste. The fried calamari was soft and tender cooked well and flavorful. My granddaughter and I had two different curry dishes with a cup of steamed white rice. Mine was the C-4 Seafood Combination at heat level 4. It was definitely spicy hot, with vegetables, shrimp, scallops and calamari it a tasteful curry sauce. My granddaughter had the Chicken curry C-2, heat level 2, with vegetables.

Great spot we found in Wasilla coming back from Hatcher Pass. My husband and I are both vegetarians so there are always limited options in these areas. But Chef Noy was accommodating to our vegan/vegetarian needs. We ordered red curry with veggie and tofu, and vegan Pad Thai noodles. Both were delicious. Definitely recommend anybody passing by this area to try.

Very good spring rolls and sauce!

Rediscovered this place and am very happy to! Used to go here with my family years ago, but I don't frequent it as often because the location is a little out of my way compared to previous living locations. The other reason why I think I hadn't tried it in a while is because on their menu, it doesn't openly say that tofu is an option for curry, it just says choose chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp. But tofu is an option on another menu item so I asked and they were happy to replace it on their Mama's Chicken Curry that I ordered. In the past when I had looked up menus I thought they didn't have tofu as an option so then decided to go somewhere else, but they definitely do have it so anyone that doesn't eat meat or prefers tofu don't skip on this place! They can replace tofu for other dishes as well. We got spring rolls for an appetizer and their spring rolls are some of the better in the valley I think. Their presentation is really nice and the sauce is very good, more on the vinegary tangy side which I prefer over a peanut-y sauce. They also include 8 spring rolls instead of 6 which is nice. They are a little thinner but sometimes that's nice because they're easier to eat. I ordered the Mama's Chicken Curry and replaced chicken with tofu. The flavor of the curry was really good. Rivals my other favorite thai curry in the valley (Pho Lucky). I really need to try their red and green varieties. Plenty of veggies and a big portion enough for 2 meals. My husband got their pad thai and thai tea and really enjoyed it. Their service is really good here too, they are very friendly and prompt. Also they are open on Sunday! I always find myself craving thai food on Sundays but most of the places in the valley aren't open. Highly recommend!

    Fresh Roll....xtra scrimps......

I call this the freshy fresh roll...I LOVE THAI FOOD! So I tried this place for the first time, called placed my order for xtra scrimps fresh roll, no nuts & red chili flakes. The man who answered the phone said, "No problem, we cook to customers specifications." I'm thinking, survey says! Ding! Right answer!!!! I get my fresh roll. Besty Best Roll I have ever had! They didn't scrimp on the shrimp, vegetables were on point, dipped it in sauce with a nice dash of chili, obviously made two minutes ago. I haven't ordered anything else on their menu yet! I know I need to move forward but I just can't get over their fresh rolls... I'll keep you posted.

Food - of the three dishes we ordered, two were fantastic and one was okay. Mama curry chicken and the chicken satay were fantastic. The satay came with a delicious homemade peanut sauce and some fresh pickled veggies. Excellent presentation. Mamas curry chicken was a yellow chicken with delicious potatoes, carrots, chicken, and onion. All the flavors mixed together perfectly. The rice comes separately so you can ladle the soup on top of the rice or, as I did, scoop the rice into the bowl and let it soak up the juices and curry. The Pad Thai was okay. It wasn't very spicy or peanuty. It was just missing something. The tofu didn't seem very fresh either. It was filling enough but I wouldn't order it again. Service - it wasn't very busy, but our server was mostly absent. Our water glasses weren't refilled during our meal even though they were empty when the food came out. When it was time for boxes, he did come along and refill them. Notables - the prices are very reasonable and the portions are filling. Ambiance - there was a tv playing The Walking Dead right above us. For some reason, seeing zombies wasn't the most appetizing thing. There was some music playing in the background. Upbeat, poppy even. It was a good filler for the restaurant. Cleanliness- while the restaurant booths do seem a little dated, everything was very clean. I didn't see any dust in the windowsill next to our booth and all the bottle and dishes on our table were clean. Sometimes the little dishes with chili paste and other sauces look like they haven't left the table in months. These looked like they were cleaned daily.

Not sure if it was a order and sit or sit and order place as we sat down, got our menus and then got up and ordered at the register. We got our appetizers and the little dog was barking at my friend and tried biting her.

Best pho and pad Thai in the valley! Really Friendly staff, never had Thai tea before, amazing! And cheap

    The spring rolls
    Cheerly L.

The food was pretty decent. The curry and the tilapia was satisfying but the spring rolls definitely need some help. It tasted quite old and I feel like it could use a bit more noodles and lettuce. My dislike is when restaurants have items on their menu but when you order It, they tell you that they no longer serve it. :(

Food doesn't come out as quick as other pho places but definitely worth the wait. Will visit again during my next trip! Staff is very friendly and a lot of space inside as well. FOOD: Lao Pork Sausage (8/10) - Can't find this in many places. Amazing!!! Super juicy, slightly salty sausage that pairs perfectly with the sauce and rice. Would get again! Pho Beef Combo (8/10) - Huge portion sizes for the price (superbowl). Amazing!! Broth and noodles are perfect Pho Tendon (7/10) - Also can't get this in many other places, but comes with so much tendon if you like it! Lao Fresh Rolls (6/10) - Solid spring rolls but the chicken is a little bit dry. I would get it again with only the shrimp. Shrimp Eggroll (5/10) - A fried shrimp in wonton wrapper, would skip this.

This one also had imitation krab, which is fine but not my favorite. The side dish of garnishes was kind of weak, just bean sprouts, lime and jalepenos. I wish it had cilantro. They must have been out of basil that day too, because we didn't get any with the pho. I want to find a seafood pho with fish cake or house made seafood balls. I think I maybe set my expectations a bit high since moving from Hawaii, every pho place there is a peak experience. My husband tried the beef brisket massaman curry which he thought was very watery and very light in the spice department, which he didn't like much. However our child loved her small kid size chicken pho and we all loved the mango smoothie. It's one of the most flavorful smoothies with perfectly thick blended consistency that you can still suck up the straw. Ambiance is kind of old, dank, dark, and dated but also holds some oddly charming quality nonetheless. Service was straight-forward. Special s/o to the man who welcomed us in, immediately fetched a high chair for our child, and then also helped me with my giant diaper bag which he didn't have to do but was very appreciated. I bet he's a dad.

The Banh Xeo, even though it was supposed to be the main attraction, became kind of the side course. That's not to say it wasn't tasty, it was also delicious.
