    Curry fried rice

Sooooo yummy! I wouldn't change a thing! We had this delivered and not only was there a lot of food it was still hot.

    Chicken Panang Curry

We had spring rolls, a California roll, cashew chicken (#18) and chicken panang. Service was blah, not super attentive but mediocre...didn't get chopsticks with the sushi and no drink refills. The curry was average, not spicy. The cashew chicken was bland too. Thai food demands a modicum of heat to enhance the flavor and unfortunately it was absent. Spring rolls were also average, which rounds out this average establishment in the heart of Wasilla.

Found this little gem in Wasilla. Best tom yum soup I've had in a while. Filled me up. Had shrimp tempura for appetizer and my boss had one of their curries. Boss said taste was excellent. Great experience. I would come here again.

    Spring rolls were EXCELLENT!

We arrived at noon on a Monday. Only two ladies on staff. One was doing the serving and cooking. So it was a little slow getting our food. Would consider ordering ahead next time. However it was made up for by excellent food.

Yello chicken curry, rice and soda.

This is the third time I've had Pattaya and I can say the food is consistent in flavor, which is good. If you're expecting quick service, don't, they are slow. To me, they are a little expensive. I bought the soup only and that came with the rice and ordered a soda, the price was almost $20.00. Overall, it's good.

    Paneng curry with chicken

Came here with my aunt, it was delicious. The server/cashier introduced herself as Veronica and chatted with us our whole visit, it was refreshing and I felt warmly welcomed. She was very nice. As an appetizer we ordered the fried spring rolls. They were hot and tasty. Very good. I ordered the Paneng curry with chicken. Iam a Paneng curry fanatic. It's what I look for at Thai places. It was sooo good!! I could not stop thinking about it after I left. It was in a delicious curry sauce, had lots of vegetables, and delicious thin cuts of white chicken. Just how I like it! With white rice on the side. The chef came out and asked how our food was. She was also very nice! After we ate, we stayed and chatted with the front of house worker. I definitely cannot wait to come back to Patayas!

This is a cute restaurant with friendly staff and clearly marked vegan options. The food was delicious and filling. I ordered the Umeboshi Salad and The Outsider ramen. They also have some delicious zero-proof beverages, which is nice if you don't drink alcohol, or if you're simply not drinking alcohol at the moment, and want something a little different while on vacation. If you do drink alcohol, it also seems like a great place to enjoy some drinks. I'm happy I decided to try this place. Before coming to Alaska, I wasn't sure how easy it would be to find vegan options, but so far I haven't had any issues. That has been a very pleasant surprise.

The cocktails were amazing, and everyone in our group loved theirs. The ramen was very good, although I'm not a big fan of extremely thin noodles, as they can overcook so easily. The ramen eggs were cooked to perfection, and the pork chashu was flawless. The tonkotsu broth in "The Hook" could have used a little more depth, but the chicken broth was sublime, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Make reservations.

Mine may have showed up 20mins after my neighbor's. The quality of the food items were just ok. I had comparable sushi at another sushi restaurant a few blocks away. -Idiot Fish: The most exciting thing was the name. It was a pretty firm fish, no fat, and quite a few bones. -Sashimi Platter: 6 types, with 2 each. We got mackerel, yellowtail, tuna, salmon, white fish (snapper?), and octopus. -King Crab Roll: What I thought was the imitation crab was actually real crab. The coloring was so ...fake looking. It's not a bad roll, but I'm not sure the flavor of the crab came through. -Beef Steak Japanese Style: Big dish but awful cut of meat and had a semi off taste. Either freezer burn or the fridge. It was full of sinew and super chewy. -Herring Roe on Seaweed: This had a strange bitter aftertaste. I couldn't eat the beef after having this, it made the beef bitter too. It was a super fun texture though. Very snappy, very poppy. Only come here if you absolutely have the time for it. My dinner took about 3 hours, and there were 5 other tables.

Downside: the wait for food and service can be very long, but Sam's a one-man operation -- and absolutely worth the patience! If you plan on bringing three or more people, be sure to reserve seating ahead of time. I definitely need to try the ramen menu next!

As a Hawai'i Native, its hard to find great sushi outside of Hawai'i (other than Japan of course!),…read morebut we were craving sushi, so I turned to Yelp and we ended up at Miso Sushi. When we arrived, the parking lot was pretty small and seemed like it could fill up quickly during peak hours. We had to wait about 5 minutes for a table to be cleared before we could be seated. Once we sat down, I immediately noticed how sticky everything was! The table, the menus, and even the soy sauce (or "shoyu" for all my Hawai'i people) were noticeably sticky! The booth seats were also cracked. Luckily I was wearing long jeans so it didn't bother me too much. Normally, I don't mind a little noise, but the restaurant was extremely loud. Everyone around us seemed to be talking at full volume, to the point where we could hear entire conversations from other tables. It definitely took away from the overall dining experience and vibe. As for the service, it was underwhelming. Our drinks were never refilled, not even once, and we had to go without refills for the entire meal. I also noticed some of the staff eating behind the sushi bar while they were still working, which I found a little off-putting and unprofessional. We started with the garlic edamame, which was loaded with garlic, something I personally love. Unfortunately, the edamame itself was mushy and overcooked. We also ordered a shrimp tempura roll, combination fried rice, and a bulgogi bento. The shrimp tempura roll was decent and ended up being the best dish we ordered. The bulgogi bento, was VERY sweet, a little too sweet for my preference. The salad dressing wasn't anything particularly special, and the tempura was just okay. Overall, I really wanted to love this place, especially because I'm always on the hunt for good sushi outside of Hawai'i, but unfortunately, the food and overall atmosphere didn't quite meet my expectations. There were some decent dishes, but I don't think this will be a spot we rush back to.
