I'm a big fan of Offset Coffee Roasters! Their coffee is rich and strong. The flavor comes through in milky drinks. There isn't a lot of seating, but it's a clean and modern open space with coffee roasting machines on the side. Pricing is reasonably moderate for the freshness and high quality. The service is very efficient. It is located within a decent size free parking lot. There are a couple of restaurants there too, so it's easy to grab a coffee or tea after a meal.
Wow, a Rootbeer float latte?! This drink is on their seasonal summer menu. It definitely tastes like Rootbeer, so you have to be a fan of the soda. Their coffee is so smooth & I love the uniqueness of their summer menu! There was also a yuzu lemon curd matcha option. Also, the staff here is great! They are friendly and helpful, and want to make sure that you love your drink! I would definitely come back. I wish they had cold foam options but other than that, it's a solid spot for coffee!
Ambiance: it's a trendy and popular coffee shop located in a narrow plaza near the airport, they have shared parking in front of the establishment and in the rear, it's getting crowded and loud inside from time to time, limited seats inside but plenty of bench tables outside Service: super friendly staff, very patient with questions, and knowledgeable about their drinks Drink: they have standard coffee drinks with seasonal specials, and also serve matcha drinks Counter Balance - **** rich espresso with steamed milk, balanced with maple and warm spices, bold, smooth, with a touch of sweetness, recommend Price: decent quality, and a bit pricey, expect about $8 for special drinks
Decent coffee/tea spot in El Segundo. Wanted a place to catch up with a friend over coffee and Yelp suggested Offset. Plentiful parking is a plus. Service is a bit weird, to be honest. My friend wanted to add Cherry Blossom Foam to her drink and was told she couldn't, unless her drink was iced. She ordered an iced drink and the foam was served on the side. Okay??? Then, I was told "No Cash" very abruptly when I tried to pay the bill, despite a huge jar of cash tips right next to register. My matcha latte and banana walnut chocolate chip loaf were good, though. Plenty of seating inside and out. Probably a good option if you live in the area.
Set in a non-descript mall just a few miles from LAX, I found the perfect spot for a coffee before my drive back to OC. Minimalist, basic, and clean inside, it's nice to see the small roaster and someone working up front roasting coffee. Just a very basic, simple, great setup. Girl at the counter was apologetic when they were out of drip, and said if it was ok if I could wait 5 minutes. I was fine with that and sat down to watch all the action-lots of traffic early on a Sunday morning. I had ordered the smaller size, but as a courtesy for waiting she brought me a large and walked it out to my table. Star for service. Coffee was light roast, delicious, the kind of cup I could sip all day. Definitely will hit this spot again when I can.
What a cute find near the airport and sofi stadium! We flew in from Vegas to see the chargers play and my husband happened to find this gem coffee shop beforehand. It was perfect location! Near the airport. It is such a cute little coffee shop, perfect for LA. I ordered the ceremonial strawberry matcha. It was absolutely delicious and perfectly made! Not too sweet and you can taste the hint of strawberry. The tea was definitely legit. I would get this again! My husband got the latte and loved it as well. We saw food and pastries that looked yummy! I'd come back to try! Service was quick and staff were very friendly!
Always wanted to tryout Offset coffee and my wife and I were able to try it finally. Not only that we always wanted to try out Phannys breakfast burritos. So we killed to birds with one stone. I had ordered the Horchata iced coffee and it was delicious. Will be coming here again to try out the other drinks. Service was great and quick. Loved the vibe of the shop as well.
Lox toast was good but I've had better. Avocado toast was bland but fresh. Strawberry matcha was good but I've also had better. Overall, this place was a disappointment to me. Pissed off I wasted my calories here. I wanted to order the biscuit but it was sold out. I wonder if that would've changed my experience.
Offset coffee is located just off the street (off sepulveda) keep an eye or you might miss it. There is minimal seating inside and outside. The coffee was so delicious, I have no complaints. The coffee had a smooth taste and I love that they have Clover organic milk! My hot latte was frothed perfectly and was also smooth and delicious. I will returning for sure.
Such good coffee! I got the winter warmer with oat milk. Great service. A little bit of seating but kind of loud inside if you want to work or study.
Coffee was good! I got a vanilla latte and the vanilla flavor and espresso were great. No burnt taste and no artificial taste! My one qualm is I got the cold foam top for an extra $1 and it was essentially nonexistent... not worth the extra cost at all. I also got a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. It was very delicious despite being premade. The egg was still a bit cold but the biscuit wasn't dry! $8 Friendly staff and a few tables inside and two benches outside.
About 10 mins from LAX comes this amazing, small coffee shop! I needed a great cup of coffee after my long flight and was not disappointed! From the amazing and conversational staff, to the flaky and mouthwatering biscuit sandwich to the flavorful cold brew, I'll be dreaming of this place long after I'm back in FL! There are hundreds of coffee shops around, but this is one of the best! Absolutely stop by! Chef's kiss!

A great pit stop for coffee coming from or going to LAX. The inside is very modern and stark white opting for a more minimalist decor style. With a gentleman tending to a blocked off bean roaster off to the side, you can tell they take their craft seriously. So far, I've been twice and the menu seems very nontraditional and unique, especially their seasonal stuff. I have tried the Tiki cold brew, matcha latte with oat milk, and the dirty horchata, which were all pretty decent but not spectacular. The tiki cold brew jabs you with sour sweet pineapple and then uppercuts you with a base of coconut. Tasty! The matcha was underwhelming and definitely tasted more oat-like than matcha. The dirty horchata had good flavor but the sunken layer of cinnamon was a little too gritty for my liking. Overall, I would still regularly come here but I think I'll try and get more traditional fare next time. read more

I've been coming here for a while and they have Very good coffee, but they have very bad customer service it's horrible you basically have acknowledge the staff and and you ask them something they give you an attitude. Why work with customers! read more

Unfortunately, this Matcha this strawberry Matcha taste really synthetic and it's extremely sweet and there's a lot of milk. You can barely taste the Matcha. It's basically like a Starbucks Frappuccino very sweet and very synthetic. The service was OK. It seemed like there was one person doing everything and they told me I couldn't bring my dog inside to order and take it to go. Basically dogs are not welcomed in this shop. So after I order, they said I had to go sit outside and they would bring my order to me. It's not like I was sitting there chilling with my dog. This is Los Angeles.... Many dogs are welcomed a lot of other places and for that reason I will not be coming back I would rather bring my dog inside order and go then leave my dog in a hot car. read more
An awesome coffee shop at El Segundo right smack on the biggest thoroughfare here, Sepulveda Blvd. They have the added advantage of opening so early in the morning so you could get a cuppa before your shift. Their CORTADO is amazing. The LATTE is well balanced. They sell both their own roast, OFFSET, and HEART Coffee. There are plenty of free parking in the center. read more
I absolutely love matcha and found this spot for my best friend and I to try on our catch-up date. She's a coffee girl so I wanted a place with options for us both. The lavender matcha didn't lack any lavender-ness, and was still able to maintain the matcha flavor; one never overpowered the other. Although I don't drink incredibly slowly, the ice melting didn't make the overall drink feel watered down either which I loved. The customer service here was great, too. The barista was very patient as we decided what we wanted, and when making the drink, double-checked our milk selections just in case. Although we just went with the default whole milk, it was nice for her to make sure. read more

Delicious coffee and super quick service. I ordered one of their specialty drinks and received my drink in less than 5 minutes. This is a cute study or work spot if you're looking for a sit down coffee shop that is nice and quiet with amazing coffee. read more
This coffee shop came highly recommended and it did not disappoint ! Tried the vanilla iced latte with oatmilk and it was absolutely amazing!!! The coffee was so smooth and rich 10/10 recommend ! Also tried a bagel that was delicious! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend for anyone to stop by! Pros* Lots of parking ! And great customer service and great ambiance !! read more
It was my first time visiting Offset coffee and I don't think I'll be back... This location is in a small plaza with a decent amount of parking. There are some tables inside and outside to sit at which is nice. The service was not that great in mg opinion. But the drink is why this is a 1 star review. I got an iced vanilla latte and just by the look it I knew it wasn't going to be good. It was a really really light brown as you can see in my picture. I could barely taste any vanilla flavor and definitely didn't get any notes of espresso. It just tasted like sweetened milk with a hint of espresso. read more
We were looking for coffee near the airport and thought to give this place a try - and no regrets at all! I ordered the matcha latte and it was super good - it wasn't too milky and had a decent matcha flavor to it. The biscuit sandwich I got though was to die for. The fillings were great but the biscuit itself was so good - super moist yet crumbly. I would go back just for this. read more

Offset Coffee isn't offset from the rest of the best coffee shops in town. In fact, it's become one of my new favorites! I had been searching for a place with quality ceremonial grade matcha (I've been taking a break from coffee) after recently transferring jobs to the area. Came for an after lunch pick me up, and this matcha did not disappoint! Matcha was definitely quality and not pre-sweetened, which I appreciate. They have a simple but good menu here. Love the untypical drinks they offer like their earl grey latte and strawberry matcha einspanner (though this one is trending nowadays). The service is sweet at this small South Bay chain (they have a few other locations throughout Manhattan Beach and Torrance). They also appear to roast their coffee in house (they have a giant roaster in store). I wouldn't recommend this spot for studying/work though, as space is limited to a standing table inside and a few tables outside. But that doesn't take away much from how much I have come to like Offset! read more
Love finding small coffee shops. This was a great find along the busy street of El Segundo. Place was currently roasting beans, people enjoying the scene both inside and outside. Wanted a quick pick me up and chose the dirty horchata! It hit the spot. Not too sweet with a good amount of cinnamon. Service was cheery and quick! Solid coffee spot! I found this place on Yelp after looking up some nearby coffee shops, and saw the great reviews. We came at around 9 or 10 in the morning and it wasn't too crowded, but we had to wait a few minutes at the register before getting our order taken. I was interested in the matchata since I wasn't sure what it was, but was informed that it was a mix between matcha and horchata. Since I'd never had that before and always love trying new things, I knew I had to get it (with oat milk!). The drink came out super fast, and was honestly quite good! I could taste the horchata for sure (maybe even a little too much) but could also get the notes of matcha behind it. I do wish the horchata was a little less strong so the matcha could shine through some more, but it was still a good drink nonetheless. I enjoyed the balance of sweetness which wasn't too overbearing. Worth a try! read more

This is just what I needed after a 2.5 hour drive into LAX. This place just ruined it for me! Seriously, the top rated, best ever, oatmeal latte I've ever had. Now I know it's possible to get creamy foamed oat milk--I am ruined! And what beats fresh roasted beans in a. Coffee. Highly recommend to try this place if you ever have spare time while traveling out of LAX. read more
Offset coffee is my favorite coffee! I come at least once a week, it's that good! Today staff went above and beyond. I was having a rough start to my day and had ordered online at another coffee shop before my sons baseball game and the coffee shop never made my coffee so I had to cancel and right after my sons game I drove over to Offset coffee and ordered online and this time I placed the order at the wrong Offset location so I felt like I was never going to get my coffee this morning! But the offset staff came to my rescue and was so helpful and helped me with my mistake. Staff is usually very kind and helpful but today they just went beyond! Drinks were amazingly prepare as usual! Thank you offset staff for making my day better! read more
Very hipster and cool coffee shop located next to Prime Pizza. They have a good selection of fine coffees and a cute merchandise offering as well. The space may still be a work in progress based on what I saw, but the service and menu are both solid. There is ample parking so you shouldn't have any issues accessing the shop. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available as well. We ordered a cold brew with their holiday peppermint foam and a matcha latte. The service was great as well - a very nice barista served us. I'd definitely come back again if I'm in the area. read more

I wish they were open later for my late days. My favorite drink is the maple latte and i really hope they keep it because it is my go to drink haha hot or cold but mostly cold because even though it's autumn, it's always in the hotter side when it comes to so cal. If you want good coffee here is a place to try in El Segundo. I've been coming here for a while and have never been disappointed with the product. Have purchased beans from them too which are super tasty. Lots of parking available and lots of options. Had not been here in a few months and they now have food and lots of pastries too. They usually have some type of "special" coffee like horchata latte. Very yummy, little but sweet for my taste but sure for many it would be perfect. I'd love to give them 5 stars but they are just missing one thing, customer service. I've been here soooo many times and ONE time a young lady roasting the coffee said "welcome" and "have a nice day". Not even kidding, the rest of the time everyone else seems like a robot and there's very little interaction with the customers. I thought maybe it was just be but I recently had a lady tell me "I love this place, just wished they'd at least smile every once in a while". So if that can be fixed I'm sure folks would have a better experience coming here. read more

All of the workers seem to not want to be there. Had to remake our drinks because they spilled it and made the order wrong. The picture is the drink they gave me versus what was pictured. Overall, was not good at all. You just taste milk. read more

Good coffee period. We got a flat white and pumpkin spice latte. I usually don't get these because they're usually too sweet for me, but the baristas assured me it's subtle, and it definitely was the perfect amount of syrup. My husband also thought the flat white was really good. The baristas were so friendly and sweet! They answered all of our annoying questions, and were so approachable. They even brought us our coffee to our table. 10/10!! read more

Came here with my friend for breakfast since we were in town for work. We looked up places the week leading up to our work trip and knew this place was perfect for a quick breakfast! My friend got a coffee and their avocado toast while I opted for their lox toast. Our food came out pretty quickly and I was ready to dig in. My lox toast was fantastic and I really enjoyed the combo of flavors. I think I'm going to attempt to try and incorporate this into my breakfast rotation. The tomatoes were a nice sweet bite to go along with the toast. If I am ever back in the area, I'll be sure to swing by again! read more

I just got off a 3hr airplane fever dream and badly needed a boost. This flat white woke me right up - the espresso is balanced, not too much acidity or bitterness for me but still rich and bold. The shop is 10mins from the airport car rental area, there's sufficient parking, and the staff is very kind! I'll definitely have it bookmarked for any future work travels. Next time I'll definitely stay long enough to enjoy my brew and maybe pair it with an avocado toast :) read more
"NO OFF DAYS" (5 stars) WOW. Good stuff, they roast their own beans. Meetings require coffee. Don't pass this place up! Sure there is coffee at your Companies campus but this place definitely worth a visit. - bean strength: strong (light roast = more caffeine) - bean taste: smooth - service: chill, friendly, knowledgeable employees - price: fair Note: decaf lovers, i apologize I forgot to ask if they were Swiss Water Processed. I usually ask but I was half awake and in a hurry. I searched for coffee shops in the area that weren't familiar to me and settled with this one because it's literally close to our El Segundo/Redondo Beach office and it had very good ratings. It's location is tiny and kind of hidden and if driving south - hard to get with the traffic on the busy road heading north. There is parking that's available. VANILLA LATTE (decaf): wish I had time to have it there and served in a ceramic cup to judge their foam art but I was on the go. They roast their own beans. The beans were very smooth and nice. Although caffeine strength in light roast might be a little strong for me (hence why I got decaf), light roast you don't taste the acidity or bitterness or any kind of fruit'ish profile in the bean flavor profile. This place is awesome! I was in LA and wanted something to eat/drink for my first "meal." I found this place and I'm hooked! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got a Dirty "Oatchata" since my horchata had oat milk. It was AMAZING! The flavors melded wonderfully. I also had their avocado toast which was just perfection. It had cherry tomatoes, lemon, olive oil, micro greens, chili flakes, and of course smashed avocado. They also sell Offset merch. You have to check this place out when in Cali!! read more
Been meaning to try Offset for the longest time since I drive by it everyday on my way home from the gym. Today was the day that I decided to stop in! I got the iced oat milk latte, an avocado toast and a lox toast. The toast here was very pretty and I love that they used micro greens... I forgot to take a pic before I ate them so no photos. The lox toast was so good. Perfect amount of cream cheese to salmon to bread ratio! Seasoned well. Unfortunately, I felt like the avocado toast wasn't nearly as good. I actually think they might have forgotten to season it. There was no salt or lemon. The sourdough bread that they used for both was really standout! It soft with a slight crunch to the edge. I'll have to come back and try their avo toast again to be fully convinced if they forgot to season it or if that's just how it is. The latte was really good. The espresso was strong enough and wasn't burnt! I find that some coffee shops burn the espresso and I can't stand that taste. All in all, highly recommend. I can't wait to come back! read more

Delicious Vanilla Latte! You can taste the nodes of the coffee beans and the vanilla is so subtle and sweet. It's very tasty. I can't wait to try their other drinks. The cashier and barista were very nice. The shop is located near a pizza shop. It's a very chill ambience. read more

Coffee shop located on PCH and El Segundo Blvd. I ordered an oatmilk latte, hot, which is pretty much what I always order. Place was empty except for the 2 employees. The ambience inside isn't super welcoming but it has potential and has some cute elements. An oatmilk latte cost $6.25 which seemed very reasonable! If you are traveling north on PCH from the Beach Cities (Manhattan Bch, Redondo, Hermosa) stay in the right lane and stop here for a coffee!! This plaza is kinda difficult to get to so I'm sure they don't get as much traffic as they would like. read more
