I went to the store on Sunland to get a notebook I needed for recording note's on a project nearby. The young man a salesperson and cashier were very helpful. The register did not have enough money for my change. The Manager came out and said he didn't have enough change in the store because it was the end of the month. It was mid September. He then mentioned that if even if he did have enough change it would take most of the store's money and the store could not function properly. He recommended another store nearby. I mentioned that was very poor customer service and that I will report it. He then went to the back and a rude young lady came out to hand me my change. Things change. I recall first finding Office Depot when I was in graduate school, and was thrilled. Now, the last visit will be my last! Why? Simple one word: PRICE Not just high but outrageous -- $10 for an iPad, rubber tip stylus--supper short--is just about TEN TIMES more expensive than what I later found on Amazon or even Walmart. Something similar happened months ago but I simply ignored it--again with the same store only that time I just put the item back on the shelf and left. Think of Office Depot as a one-stop shop for printing and school/office supply needs. When it comes to making copies, I prefer coming here over any other place. Their prices are very reasonable. The awesome part is that they actually make/print the copies for you. All you have to do is e-mail them what you want and they'll do it. It can't be Disney or any other copyrighted items. They have a list of items they won't accept. I've noticed it's really packed in the afternoons around 1 or 2 pm. If you go in the morning or later in the evening, there's maybe one or two people in line. If you need something to be faxed or scanned, they also do that. There's also shipping services with the post office and FedEx. Aside from this, they have a good selection of items for school and work. I hardly buy these items unless they're really marked down in price. They even have snacks and drinks for the office. Talk about convenience! I'll continue going here as often as needed. read more

There were 3 bankers boxes on the shelf that usually came in a pack of 10, but they were not in a pack on the shelf, and I thought the cashier would divide the price of the pack of 10 and charge me for only the 3, but she charged $127 dollars by scanning the bar code and didn't understand that there were only 3 boxes. I completely prefer this Office Depot over the nearest FedEx for my printing purposes as well as most of my office supplies. Actually most recently, we even bought a L-desk and office chair here and they're great quality. Strictly speaking about their printing services, they do it all. And they'll format things for you. And the prices are decent. And the employees are nice. Last time I was here, I did spend what I thought was going to be a pretty frustrating hour here, but the employees were apologetic, rolled with the punches, and had me leaving in a happier mood. I received an email saying my items were ready to be picked up, arrived and they weren't... but as soon as I said this, the employee (wish I would've caught her name because she was great) immediately had my items printed even though there were people ahead of me. I also needed some additional things printed in a new format and the employee that was helping me didn't actually work in the printing department so she asked a manager for some help to format it the way I wanted and they even printed out drafts to make sure they were what I was asking for. It definitely took longer than I anticipated, but they did have a line of customers (during the day on a Thursday strangely enough) so I understand. I didn't leave upset, but in the future I'll be sending my print jobs a week in advance just to avoid this on the day when I actually need it. Outside of the printing services. They have office supplies to the max. I buy all of my school supplies here and in my opinion they have the best selection of notebooks (for when you don't want a Lisa Frank notebook, but you also don't want a boring composition notebook). The office furniture is almost always on sale so you can usually get a good deal. I actually check their prices against Amazon and Wayfair and they offered the best price on the desk we purchased. I have noticed they don't have a large Apple section (I don't think they sell Macs at all), but they do have a few Apple accessories. They will continue to be my first choice when I need large amounts of pages printed. And anytime I need highlighters, markers, pens, notebooks, scissors, glue, or tape, I'll probably head here first. read more

I had an issue with the laptop that I purchased from Office Depot (El Paso - Sunland Park) and I tried to resolve the issue through FairTrade, the insurance company. I worked with FairTrade's tech support representative for hours and, yet, my issue wasn't resolved in a satisfactory manner. So, I contacted the store to see if they could help me resolve the issue. The store manager, Eddie, tried to contact the insurance company on my behalf and when they didn't respond in time, he decided to fix the issue by giving me store credit for my original purchase. In addition, he asked a very knowledgeable sales associate to help me find an appropriate replacement. Terrible place specially at the Copy and printing section, its manager and staff are very rude and ignorant, they don't care about your needs and if you asked them a question about the reason of the delay in your order they would say : I don't know why?!!!!!!!!!!!! Really really disappointing , I gave them a book for coiling and they did it like half a work then the machine was broke so they told me we have no idea when your book would be ready!!!!! It took 1 week until I could get my book which was in a terrible condition in regards coiling !!!! read more
