I love Costco! It is one of the best wholesale stores ever! Starting with the food court, I love everything there! Everyone who works there is very wholesome. They have a wide variety of everything, from food, to appliances, to electronics, to TVs! Everything there is really cheap and all their food is really high-quality and cheap from their Kirkland signature brand. Believe it or not they sell a hotdog and a drink for $1.50 which is a crazy deal in 2024. I would get the membership if I were you, it is incredible! read more

Review for Costco - Very Disappointed I left Costco feeling upset and disappointed. I had created and paid for my membership through the app, but when I got to the store, they wouldn't let me in because the payment showed as "pending." The customer service rep, Jasmin, claimed she had refunded me two days ago so I could be charged again--but I never received a refund. She said if she charged me again, I'd have to come back in person just to get a refund for the second charge, which made no sense at all. On top of that, her attitude was rude and unprofessional. She spoke to me with an ugly tone in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. I canceled my Sam's Club membership to give Costco a try, but after this experience--I'll never go back to Costco again. read more

This customer service desk is a joke, we came in to cancel our membership and ask about our rebate check we never received last year. The guy scoffed in our face and said he wouldn't be able to help us get it because it's a benefit of costco members... He said he'd only help us if we kept our membership. So we are no longer allowed a check that I was supposed to be rewarded because I am looking to cancel my membership? This place is a joke. Even though I live a ways from Costco I go there OFTEN.... I love coming to Costco because I always seem to find something new. My grandma is a regular at the pharmacy and they are so friendly there. They care for their customers. I always come to Costco for the best grapes ever called Candy grapes. I can only seem to find them here. Also I've experienced very friendly employees at the service center. Every Costco employee is always willing to help out and seem to walk around the store often so it's not hard to find an employee for help. The ONLY issue I have is that El Paso needs a second Costco built in the Eastside. That is all. read more

What can I say about Costco, or as the locals love to call it, "Costcos". It's phenomenal products at a great price. The place is always stocked, always clean and the selection is well thought and caters to the customer. The samples (pre-corona) were always nice but even without it, this place shines. Food court is also fantastic. I love to call and order a pizza I enter the store so that it's ready once I'm checking out. I've bought everything here, ranging from organic ground beef to laminate flooring and even all season tires. This place has it and their refund policy is more than generous. Gas prices are also the best in town. Anything else to add? No I don't think so. The Executive Membership is worth the price and I will always be faithful to their company and products. I wish more places were run like this. read more

Costco's P&G Rebate is a scam. If you purchase $100 in P&G products, you are eligible for a $25 rebate. However, any discounts on P&G products that you may have gotten at the time of purchase become null and void. So if you got $25 in discounts at the time of your P&G purchases, forget the trouble of working through the slow and inadequate P&G Rebate system, as you are not getting a rebate. You are only getting what was yours anyway before rebate system forfeited your discount. Shame on Costco for accepting such from hoax. read more

It's aight! I'm more of a Sam's person, though...sorry Costco. It seems like Sam's stuff is cheaper, too. I don't have a membership to Costco at this time. I've tagged along with family in the past but not recently. One thing I'm pretty fond of at Costco (more than Sam's) are their cakes! Not sure if they use fresher ingredients or what. I remember Costco had these really good chocolate sheet cakes with a rainbow on them. It's been years since I've had one of those but they were really good! The chocolate frosting was delicious! It was creamy and tasted just like fudge. The cake was also moist and delicious. It almost reminded me of a fudge brownie but much softer. Another thing I like about Costco are their gas prices. I'm not sure if they are less than Sam's but it's a good deal. Costco also has fresh produce which I also like. I have not bought anything else aside from produce. I've had offers for a Costco membership in the past. I've considered getting one from time to time. I'm still thinking about it. I'm not really in a hurry to make a decision. Should I get one, I'll update this review if needed. I'm sure I'll tag along with family if the need comes up to shop here. read more

By far the worst customer service and members I've encountered in my life!!! Members are rude, don't put up their shopping carts, and park illegally especially in the handicapped spots. Customer service is subpar! When I bought up illegal parking and shopping carts their response was "well take care of it thank you" yet I still see shopping carts all over the parking lot and illegal parking. When my membership expires, I'm going back to Sams Club, they have better customer service, their members are respectful. They have the worst customer service! They treat you like they are doing you a favor or you are stealing or getting it for free. When I travel, I stop at other Costco and they are not as rude as this warehouse. They are worse than the customs at the airport. Get checked at the door for your membership at the line and at the register. The employees are the worst and belittle you. Sam's Club is way better than Costco in El Paso, worse of the worst employees. I pay for membership and the items products and still get treated so poorly, not an enjoyable experience at this place. I honestly dont know how ive gone this long using my Costco Membership without raving about it! First and foremost...CHICKEN BAKED RULES ALL!!! Lol that is one food item that will never go away, besides the staple hot dog and pizza of course. That bread with chicken, bacon, and cheese filling is simply to die for! I feel like i diet all summer long for their delicious, crispy crust and savory, meaty cheese filling lol. Anyway, aside from my food love affairs of this place, lets talk about more food! I absolutely LOVE saturdays the most because I can legit eat my way through all the sampling stations as my lunch for the day and be full enough! Lol they have a lil bit of everything from each section! Granola, chicken nuggets, fruits, deli, dessert, juices, and more! What im not crazy about is how their food is limited to members only and can only be accessed inside. I just remember how the Costcos in Cali would be out in the open and free for anyone to partake in, not just members. Im also not a fan of their toilet paper lol. TMI! I still have my Sams Club for that department lol. But you cant beat Costcos EXCELLENT clothing selection. Lucky Brand, Carter's, Calvin Klein. Really mostly top of the line brand of clothes at warehouse prices! Love them all! Its definitely worth the 60 bux a year membership for their high quality selection of food and product. I have used Costco gas in many places across the country in this particular place it was clean and well attended with staff available to help you no matter what type of situation you may need from forgetting your card to trouble at the pump. Costco has lots of things for the consumer to feel good about 1st of all the quality of their gas is excellent especially for the price point and I really need premium and it's anywhere from 10 to 20 cents a gallon less than is in the general market. It's a great value. The quality of their goods are also excellent in the store. Including lots of organic food in the crazy value of their $5 roasted chicken just like a miniature turkey. But most important they pay a livable wage for their average employees including health care and benefits and I always want to support a large port a large retail Box store that does this type of thing. Generally they have excellent covid 19 practices. read more

Abysmal disability access: only five electric scooters for the whole store. More than an hour wait for one, and I was told this is typical. Small grocery stores have more scooters available for their customers. Never experienced this at another Costco, not in Washington, New Jersey, or Mexico City. Manager (Rigo) said they "couldn't afford" to offer more, and that they do what the law requires. That's not enough. These scooters are not that expensive or hard to make room for! This store discriminates against those of us who for whatever reason can't walk easily - whether because of age, disease, or injury. A shame for the Costco brand. read more

Customer Service is top notch and wonderful in Texas but not in Alhambra California! Sandra Gomez had to step in from El Paso, Texas. We had very rude, lazy & vile treatment from Customer Service at Costsco Alhambra in California. BUT this is the tradgic part, there was one gentleman in Alhambra customer service that helped us and called my mother in law in El Paso Texas to help us resolve the issue two weeks previously. Sadly, this gentleman that gave us help and actually listened to us was thrown under the bus for listening and trying to help resolve an issue by the Supervisor. This Supervisor was trying to stir the pot and got her minions to support her bad customer service. I feel bad for the young man in customer service, he was great. Why isn't this guy a supervisor?! He gave us professionalism and courtesy ...he should be a supervisor?! Why?! Why is it that this great customer service rep in Costsco Alhambra is not promoted to supervisor. He listened and tried to help us but instead we got Supervisor Tweedle dum and subordinates Tweedle dummers trying to make us look feel like trash and swindlers. One subordinate was named Norma, she stood out for being the worst, she yelled at my hubby when we attempted to go back and get that gentleman to help us as a second attempt. (We thought we would get the next shift and avoid those lousy abusive Customer Service Reps and her repugnant Supervisor...that didn't happen!) It took us two weeks and two days for my husband and my mother in law to get this stupid thing "resolved." Perhaps it may take longer, we need to go back to Alhambra Costsco and give them an email for Costco El Paso Texas so that my mother in law can retrieve and change the membership. My mother in law wants to mail the rewards to us...lol. The funny part is that I have dealt with customers when there were strikes on the ports...so I dealt with crazy customer. 8/4/23, El Paso Costco customer service supervisor refused to give me a Paid Receipt, she was very rude, insulting, and bad-mouthed me with all her co-workers, and ultimately with the manager. I was previously given a Paid Receipt for another laptap purchase made online, which they failed to provide me a Paid Receipt, and again I purchased another laptal online only 4 days ago, 7/31/23, and no Paid Receipt. So, I personally had to drive to Costco in El Paso Texas. The customer service female refused to give me a Receipt, in spite that I didn't get one, and she went to talk to another female worker who approached me disrespectfullyand also refused to give me a paid Receipt, giving me run around and hostility stating she was the supervisor. I requested a manager and she declined they had one, but one later came. Meanwhile, the disrespectful supervisor had been talking to virtually every Co worker as both staring at me as she gossipped about me. I noticed and mentioned it to the manager. The manager was polite and a nice person, but the supervisor got in the picture back again telling the manager what to do and the manager told me they cannot give me a Paid Receipt in spite that it had been done before with the first laptap online purchase, and No Paid receipts were given either on my second laptap purchase. I indicated to all of them that if Costco would not give me a Paid Receipt for the laptap in its new unopened box from me, (only they were able to open it to make sure it was in its own manufacture box as I requested), that I would return back the laptap and get a Return back money Receipt. They still refused to give me the Paid Receipt for my laptal, therefore, they list my $1,299.99. It was all because those people at Customer Service were not trained like a previous worker whi did know how to give me a Paid Receipt from an online purchase that did not give me a Paid Receipt, and All of these other Costco representatives, supervisor and manager were not trained on how to give me a Paid Receipt for my Paid laptap online. Although, the manager, Carlos was very polite and a nice person, the supervisor was not just ignorant about handling issues on merchandise purchases and Paid receipts, but she was very unprofessional, rude, Hostile, and she had a very ill intent behavior telling every Co worker things about me staring with hostility, and she was putting ideas in the manager's mind so that he would not know how to resolve giving me my requested Paid Receipt for not given one in the first place when I paid a large amount of money, or regardless how small amount of money anyone would pay made no difference. These people did not help Costco for their revenue, rather Cistco lost $1,299.99 because I returned back to them the laptap at issue. Female worker at around 2:46 pm on 8/12/23 was very condescending. took my mother to buy groceries and the worker first thing she said to me was to pull my pant zipper up which it was.. then i was gonna pay and she told me "it has to be your card it can't be your moms" and she kept insinuating i wasn't using my own card. receipt printed out and she threw it on me and said "okay bye ". worst employee ever. they need to do something about staff. even if my mother did pay the restrictions on that are as follows: Only Costco members may purchase items. which she is my additional user but since i was going i just took my card. and i did pay with my card. read more

I've been a long time customer of Costco not for the ready made food, but for the bulk items you get that most places don't carry. Sadly the brands have slowly been washed out with Kirkland products leaving you no alternative but to buy their products. Unfortunately the quality just isn't there. As for ready made food such as the ready to cook meals already prepared for you well let's just say that the level of incompetence is shines through clear as day. Most items are days from rotting and what is cooked is cooked poorly in favor of making a buck. Take the chickens they serve $4.99 sounds like a good deal, but do you want to risk getting sick from it. This has been an ongoing problem from day one. Both Sam's club and Costco both try to convince you that they are cooked properly and even post temperatures that sound legitimate. In the end if you know even the slightest bit about cooking you know they're doing improperly. I've included photos as proof of what they're doing so decide for yourself and maybe make a complaint to the department and see if enough people can convince them to cook it fully instead of trying to rush it just to make a sale at your expense. read more

I can't express how much I love Costco. I. LOVE. COSTCO. We come here for our usual run which is about once a month. Our bill totals up to $80-$120. Which isn't bad at all! Our shopping cart consists of... Kirkland brand water $2.99 (40 bottles) and we get about 4 of these. Bulk Cesar dog food $20 (2 boxes) Dog snacks $20 (2 bags) That's our normal run. And then sometimes we get toilet paper. It's our preferred brand and it lasts us a looooong time. Baby wipes. And sometimes just random food. I don't normally get produce here because they tend to get bad real fast. Most of all I love the food court! Costco pizza is a staple when we come. $9.99 and it's not just a LARGE but an EXTRA LARGE. I like to get a slice when I'm by myself, $1.99. The ice cream and the mocha drink is really good as well. I like the açaí bowl but it's not like the real thing. I'm used to the açaí being real fruit blended, theirs just comes from a machine. I still get it though haha. read more

Extended warranties offered by Costco via Allstate Protection Plans. I've wasted 10 hours on the phone over 2 separate dates while customer service reps (call center employees) passed me from person to person who had me do the exact steps that the last person did but only after giving them every bit of information (model number, phone number, etc) over and over again. It appears that the entire process was to avoid actually fixing the problem by claiming that was a software issue when it's obviously not a software issue which off course isn't covered in the 5 year warranty. In the dozen Allstate employees I've spoken too their accents were too thick to understand with very loud background noise from other call center personnel. Costco's extended warranty programs are a scam intended to sweeten the deal so you'll feel good about buying a TV. I love Costco but they're either part of a sales scam to sell more electronics or doing business with a third party vendor engaged in deceptive trade practices. read more

I live with my grandparents and they LOVE going to Costco. I've been really busy with work and haven't had a chance to take them so when they wanted to go by themselves this week, I was REALLY nervous; mostly because I didn't want them to do so much by themselves. When I got home that night and asked how it went, my grandparents explained how "a wonderful young man" helped them with loading all of their items into the trunk of their car. He noticed them struggling, while he was pushing carts in the parking lot, and he began helping them. Just because of that, it makes all the sense in the world to pay for membership. Where else would I get my Aidelle sausages for just $12? Over the years we've purchased furniture, electronics, even vacation packages, and theme park tickets. I especially love how their products are backed by a great warranty and return policy. Costco is now expecting children 2 years and older to wear a mask. This exceeds state guidelines, goes against the science and is next to impossible to shop with a 2 year old while keeping them masked. I called to share my concern with a manager as well as to make sure my understanding was correct. He confirmed that 2 years and up is required and made it clear that Costco didn't care about my concerns and did not need our business.
