I like TSC. I never knew they had so much of everything, but now that I do know, I appreciate the large selection of items and products and brands. It's not terribly expensive, considering what you're getting, though you might fair better if you have some type of membership / discounts with a place like Chewy online. Again, product dependent really. I know TSC has some form of military discount, but it wasn't easy to use. I had to register and go through some process and then, I think I get the discounts retroactively? I honestly have no idea, I just know it is not a show your CAC (ID Card) type of discount. Service is great and I'll continue to go there for all my equine / horse needs. 6:15PM... drove across town because the other Tractor Supply had the adapter stolen to refill my RV propane tank. Drove 30 minutes across town to arrive and be told by the supervisor on duty that store policy is to not refill propane after 5:00PM. Asked what the logic was and was told... "I dunno, store policy". Explained that I drove across town from the other store because of a lack of adapter and was told "that's not my fault". No compassion or understanding. No logical explanation for not servicing the tank either. Bunch of BS. Funny that as I review other comments, people have had issues with propane here also. Not coming back to this store. On the hunt for a nice sized bale (at a reasonable price) for some Halloween crafting I was doing, I remembered that there was a Tractor Supply a couple of miles from my house. A bale at a hardware store? If you could need it in farm country, you can find it at TSC. You know, El Paso, Chaparral, Anthony, and even Sunland Park all have their farming areas so it's kind of surprising it took us this long to get a TSC, but we have one now. This one is a lot smaller than other ones I've been to. The ones I've been to have been Wal-Mart sized (literally old Wal-Marts turned into TSCs), but what I gathered from the inventory inside, the only smaller section I really saw in comparison to any other TSC was the hunting attire which makes sense because this area doesn't have a large hunting community. I was able to find my perfect, less-than-$10 straw bale, but it was so hard to not purchase something on ever other isle. Bird feeders, hummingbird feeders, hatchets, super warm looking gloves, beanies, candles, tins of cookies, trailers... like I said, anything you could need in farm country. I'm glad we have a TSC or two in the city now. Great place for your hardware/auto part/pet supply/rustic decor needs. Oh, and no tax! read more

I was going to give one star but I have to give a shout out to Spencer for taking down the 2 cases of dog food for me. Andrea R however...not so much. After about ten minutes of waiting in line (which may or may not have been her fault) she goes on to charge me per can even though they're clearly in the case. Even the nice lady behind me tried to explain this, but Andrea R didn't give 2 effs! First time in one and I was looking for a choke collar. Cashier by entrance looks at me and smiles and says welcome! That doesn't happen often. I ask an employee where the collars were and he actually stops acknowledges me and walks me over to where they are and then proceeds to help me pick out one we think will fit best. Different cashier suggests signing up for promotional emails so I can get coupons etc.. is as friendly and appreciated my business. I'm happy. Obviously the employees are happy as well and it shows. This is one of my favorite stores. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Their prices on the out door equipment, tools, towing, feed, and other items have always been competitive with other stores but I find them often cheaper. If you sign up for the email discounts, you will also be prompted when items are discounted. Not a large store but definitely worth a look. read more
