I got a puppy in January. Since then Petsmart has been my go to place for pet products and food. And you get credit for products you buy to use them on future buys. Let me say pets are no cheap. Love being able to shop with my dog. He picks out his own bones. But what I love the most is the groomers! A big thank you to Nadine she did a awesome job with my big boy! They are one of the only ones willing to take my Great Pyrenees he is a big lazy boy! He doesn't like to stand during a bath. But they work with his goofiness. What I like is they are a great staff and everyone can see the dog being groomed, Easy to book Appointment. The other thing I really like it so I don't have to leave my dog there all day I dropped him off at 12 they called me at 1:20 saying he'd be ready in 20 minutes so total time there was an hour and 40 minutes not all day. Today visit was to pick up my cat Sassys food! She had eaten science diet since we adopted her from the shelter and Pets Mart is the only place I can find it at! They have a HUGE section of Science Diet and have a variety of flavors/age groups which is a huge plus since my little one is 12 years old! This location is always the best in my opinion! I tried to drop off my dog, but Erin said that I needed to bring my dog's rabies record. As I searched for it in my emails, she left me waiting there only to come back and help other customers. I found the rabies record and searched for someone to help me. A young lady came out. When I showed the young lady that came out from the back area the rabies vaccine, Erin came back. Erin interrupted and asked to see the vaccine record for herself. Then Erin confused me for another customer ( she called me Ms. Jefferson) and told me that the Sunland location had issues with my toy poodle. I told her my poodle was a service dog and have always been told that he always behaves excellently. When she called me by the wrong last name, I had enough of her horrible customer service amd left. read more

This fancy new spot is awesome!! And the customer service is super friendly!! Walked in on grand opening day and they were giving out a free cat toy. A CAT TOY!! I feel like that almost never happens for cats lol. And they were giving out these scratchers too which could be worth 5$ or more of store voucher which is always a plus! Really wish there could have been another Banfield part to this because thats the only way they sell the prescription food my cats need. Aside from that, the grooming section, the Natural/refrigerated food section, even the cats kennels... fabulous!! Probably one of the few pet spots that made me feel like the cats get more love and a happier, cat friendly space for adoption. Breaks my heart when they're just in caged, small spaces. Plus, they seemed to have better options of everything, especially cats which is almost always more difficult to come by. I almost never buy anything from petsmart thags not food, but today, on this very grand opening day.... i walked out with a pumpkin! A pumpkin! For my cats to have a makeshift house from! I made an appointment for my dog at the grooming salon. They called to see if I could come in earlier since they were free, I did and when I got there one of the employees of the grooming salon immediately told me he couldn't receive my dog because he'd been vaccinated out of state and that it was against petsmart rules which is a total lie since I called the Sunland Park location and they said it was not true for non residents of El Paso. Vaccines are universal and it is fine if you have the sticker you should be able to take your dog for grooming. They don't even ask for it crossing on the bridge, I think it's a ridiculous excuse to use to refuse giving somone service. read more

My dog just had the worst grooming experience of his life at Petsmart on Artcraft by Maria. Although he did have some matted fur on his tail and around his neck, they completely shaved his ears and his tail. He had been in before with worse mats but with a different groomer that didn't shave either area. I know it's just fur and that it will grow back, but he went in adorable and came out with a whack job! I spoke with the manager but they are standing by their policy of shaving it all off. read more

I had gotten a guinea pig from here about a year ago and we thought it was nice and healthy but we had thought wrong. The guinea pig had an Upper Respiratory Infection that the cashier never told us about. The guinea pig died in A WEEK. Basically, never buy a pet from pet smart. read more

The store is nice and clean! The reason I'm giving this location two stars is because the associate in the grooming salon was rude to me and told me that if I got my dog shaved then I didn't "love my dog." I don't understand why the grooming salon would offer this service if it was harmful to my pet. That statement was enough to make me never return to this location. read more

The grooming salon is not one of the best. It's expensive and my doggie never gets fully groomed. Last time I took his cut was choppy!

This groomer is a joke!!!!! I made an appointment to have my dog groomed. I was on the phone with them over 10 minutes making the appointment!!! Today I took my dog in for her appointment. WOW!!!!! What a surprise!!!! They did not have an appointment for her. I called and spoke to a manager (That would not tell me his name). He said let me put you on hold, and then proceeded to talk to another manager and told him a totally different story then what I just told him! I heard the entire conversion, because he did not even know how to put me on hold! He then put me on hold 3 different times. Before he figured out how to get me back on the phone. I explained the story to him again!!! This guys was like, "OH another complaint, when he was talking to the other Manager. I was so angry, he did not care about anything I had said!!! Whatever happened to customer service????? PetSmart this was the last straw!!!!! You lost a faithful 20 year customer!!!!!! read more

Just LOVE this location. Easy to get to and the store is great. We take our fur baby to get groomed at PetSmart with Nadine. She always does such a GREAT job!! Just got our two new shelter dogs groomed at the new location. Chanel did an excellent job. Our 2 yr old lab mix had a regular bath, brush and ear cleaning. Chanel was very detailed about what she did and that our lab needs more attention to her ears. Our husky mix had the furminator treatment with her bath, brush and ear cleaning. Our 1 yr old husky was matted and had a lot of shedding undercoat. She looks so beautiful. Chanel also gave us information that our husky has healing bite marks on her shoulder and backs which was important to know since the humane society didn't have her history. Poor doggie, glad she's with us now. They took about 3 hours to groom to make sure the dogs were calm and comfortable being new to grooming, provided helpful information about our new dogs, and had a good price with the 25% off weekday evening bath coupon.
