$1,200 paid, no training received, and an extremely disappointing experience…read more We paid Dogon'Wild $1,200 upfront for training. On Friday, the day our dog was scheduled to begin, we spoke with owner Erron Reid because we were running late and also had concerns about the training methods and collars. Erron suggested that we talk through our concerns and create a plan to move forward. We appreciated that and believed we had reached an understanding. On Monday, we called to do exactly that. Instead, the conversation became extremely unpleasant. We were told we would need to pay again, and because two dogs would be involved, we would need to pay double. The interaction became increasingly confrontational and, in our experience, unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Erron then sent us a message stating, "At this point I'm not willing to work with you guys anymore." That is what is most troubling to us. We paid $1,200, received no training, and were not asking for a refund. We were trying to work out the plan that Erron himself had suggested on Friday. Now he is refusing to provide the service at all while retaining our $1,200. The contract does state that 24-hour notice is required for a missed class and that the training fee is non-refundable. However, we do not see anything stating that one scheduling issue means forfeiting the entire $1,200 training package, or that the trainer can then refuse to work with us unless we pay again. Beyond the money, we were very disappointed by the way we were spoken to when we tried to resolve the situation. When someone is trusting you with their dog and paying a significant amount of money, concerns about training methods should be met with professionalism and a willingness to communicate--not hostility. We tried to find a solution. Instead, we are left with no training, $1,200 paid, and a written statement from the owner that he is no longer willing to work with us. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Dogon'Wild get every detail in writing beforehand--including what happens to your full prepaid fee if an appointment needs to change and what training methods and collars will be used.

The staff goes above and beyond to take care of them, and is so reliable. We had a puppy that needed eye drops and meds, and they kept a track list of every dose for us! They truly love animals here and the dogs just have FUN! As far as safety, when you board your dogs somewhere with other animals that play, things happen. My dogs have come home with scratches and gashes, this is part of boarding people! The facility can not be responsible for every little thing that happens. Also, if your dog has aggression issues, do not board them and then expect to have no issues when you return. I HIGHLY recommend Howl-A-Day Inn for all of your boarding needs!

I took my dog to a 2 week training program they offered (that by the way cost 600 usd) the night…read morebefore the second week was over at around 10pm I was outraged when I received a call from Reidsan telling me they had LOST my dog. It was until the next morning that my dog came home full of blood from wounds he had all over his legs and body. My first instinct was to give him water since he looked parched. He drank water non stop for 10 minutes before I could take him to the vet. Turns out my dog was 10 pounds lighter (I highly doubt they even fed my dog, he devoured his food in a matter of seconds) and needed several stitches in his leg. When I called Reidsan Kennel they invited me over to see how my dog had escaped. Turns out he broke out of his individual cage and broke a small window just to escape and come home. I'm still in shock on how a dog as big as mine (Neapolitan Mastiff) could fit though a window that's less than a foot wide. Makes me wonder how badly they must treat the dogs. The only explanation given to me was that my dog is "mentally unstable" and not only did they not even bother to give me a solution but they kept the 600 dollars from the training (which by the way was a total scam) and offered to pay only half of the vets bill. Weeks have passed since the incident and my dog is still traumatized! I can't even pet him without him flinching in fear. I have no idea what went on the night of the incident, but it's safe to say I will NEVER step foot there again.

Before starting a class, you need to have a private class with Mary, which is $45 (I believe) for an hour to make sure if your dog can join the group class but the group class is $100 for 6 classes. You don't have to come every Sunday as you can keep the 6 credits when you pay. I've never really looked into other classes here in El Paso but I believe this one is the cheapest! We always start with simple tricks like sit, down, go around, through but after that we use some obstacles. I believe they have an agility class too. I see many people come in when my class is over. The owner Mary is really good with any types of dogs. She understands them and she's been training for a long time. One thing I wanna tell you is you need to reconfirmed the appt for your private class like 3 times! She's so busy and she tends to forget it. I had to reschedule it 3 times before I finally got to meet her. Overall I'm really satisfied with this class and I'm sure so is my dog. I'll take more pics of available obstacles in class when I get a chance! :)
