I was cancelled once so they gave me an appointment the following day at 5:00 pm. I took my pet the PetSmart and they told me that they would have my dog in 2 to 4 hours. I told them that they had schedule me for 5:00 pm. Their computer says that back in March, they had told me about the express. First of all the express went up and they were going to charge me extra. Second of all they did not tell me about the express. The groomer told me that she had two other dogs to do and that their appointment was also at 5:00. I got there before the other two dogs and still they told me that it is going to take 2 to 4 hours. I am very dissatisfied with there service and will never to back to PetSmart. They were kind of rude and the manager to rude too. So be aware about the extra service. read more

Visited PetSmart at The Fountains after checking PETCO and PetBarn for a Sling which all of them should have had but only PetSmart actually carried. Pet stores are always fun to visit because you take your loved pet with you and they are always excited. Perfect parking lot, excellent store layout, plenty of brand choices, Good costumer service, clean store, and predictable prices. I will definitely visit again. read more

I really gave it a good try Needed a exam for my dog got there and the estimate wait time they gave me was 45 to 1 hr wait. So I thought it was reasonable so I stayed 1 hrs passes and I think I'll be called soon but no 2 hrs laters no and I see people going in a out people that came in way after me leaving. So at that 2 hr wait I ask how much more waiting so she couldn't find my name or my pet took a while in the computer then she said the next technician will see me after the person inside then this technician comes out asks for Jazmin so I think it's us finally so ends up been a pet called the same so that's when I figured I wasn't gonna be called soon . Then this lady tells me the doctor needs to see my pet and he haves been in surgery and I didn't know this. I thought a technician was gonna see us first . But o well waste of my time. Come from another side of town to this clinic because they recommended it for this exam and I brought one pet here before and they took long then to to see us and that time was lesss people then today maybe the day makes the clientele different but still front desk person should have told me. The person that will see my pet is the doctor and i have to wait until his done with his surgeries . Have 3 kids at home and I estimated 3 hrs or so but. 2 hr wait plus. I don't know how long to get the exam. Plus a test plus X-rays that would have kept me there more hrs. I am a very very patient person but if they don't communicate with me this important details I can't work with this. I know they don't do appointments but I can't free my whole day for one visit I have other pets that need care and I can't take them all at once so I can't take this long of waiting times since I have to do several visits to the vet. Plus my kids. I want to say I would try another time. But I don't think I can . I need to know how far along my pet is on her pregnancy . read more

I think this PetSmart may be a wee bit smaller than it's Westside counterpart, but it still has a groomer and partners with local shelters to get cats and dogs adopted. I haven't brought any of my dogs to this location, but if I had to guess this would probably be their favorite since it doesn't have a vet (at least I didn't see one here). The selection here seems to be slightly different than the other two locations and I almost got the feeling that they carry a lot of tems the other stores don't. But that also works for the opposite affect... after trooping up and down all the dog food isles one day, it became very clear to me that they don't carry dry Adult Pedigree Dog Food at this location... which happens to be my dog's second favorite meal (the first being anything Mom makes) making the trip a bust. Price wise I have always felt like PetSmart is very competitive with other pet stores and major chains like Wal-Mart. I do like that because this PetSmart is in the Fountains it's a newer facility... sometimes the Westside location seems like it could use some sprucing up. And if you're looking for some cheap squeaker toys that your dog can devour in about 3.9 seconds (like they do with the expensive $10-$20 toys you buy), check out the toys on the displays. A lot of times you can find toys that are $1-$5. read more

This pets mart is in the fountains, so I already love it. It's like any other pets mart, big, has everything you need, modern etc. The staff is very friendly and I like that. Prices they have there are fair and reasonable and like I said, they have everything you need from birds to dogs, cats to snakes... If you have a pet, this place has what you're looking for. They also have dog obedience training classes. I'm my sure if other places do as well, but I thought that was pretty cool and a awesome thing to offer, at a cost of course. What I liked the most is the grooming service they offer. My dog has been shedding a lot lately and pets mart has groomers. They have a special anti shedding shampoo and conditioner that they will use and then brush your dog out for 30 minutes straight. Then clean ears, trim nails etc. Got all this done for under $60. I liked that and felt is was very much worth it. It's not like 100%, but they did say it takes a few treatments. I know she still sheds, but we went from using the swiffer on our tile floors 2-3 times per week, to once a week. We could clean every day still, but it's not like we are living in dog hair anymore. The treatment definitely decreased the amount she sheds. Very cool. If you have a pet and need something for it, come to pets mart. And bring your dog in with you! It's allowed! We went there to look for a bed for our puppy. As soon as we walked in, the staff came to us to see if we needed any help. She showed us where their beds are and recommended one. I was happy with the service. But the only reason I give them 4 stars is because groomers were super unfriendly. Before we walked out, we decided to check the grooming room and see the price range. Even though there were so many groomers, nobody really tried to talk to us. But anyways, for trimming nails, bath, cleaning ears and cutting hair for a middle size dog (my dog is about 50 lbs) cost about $55. They also offer some dog training classes. Today's service was amazing! I must have looked lost in the store. The employee came up to me and asked if I needed help. I sure did! Ha! Anyway, she directed me to the product I needed and I was on my way. There were only two lanes open. I think overall they have good service! Managers are more nonchalant than the employees which was weird but hey they have great employees who are genuinely nice! I was at the location on Saturday 1-6-2017 around noon! As I walked in, it just looked as a average Petsmart. We knew what we wanted so we started to head in and look for that item. As we are looking some employees walk pass and never once ask if we need any help at all. So we looked at the prices and they were a little more pricey than the two previous stores we had visited, so I wanted to know if they would price match. But again remember no one was really paying us attention. So as we started to walk out, I noticed a beautiful female dog collar that I believe was a MUST HAVE for my baby girl..and even better it was on clearance! Again I seen three different employees walking my way and I stopped them to ask if they could help me with figuring out the price. Without hesitation the guy turned the collar over and stated it was $12.99. I said "sir, this item is all over with the clearance items but some of the prices have been pulled"....so he proceeded to say then you need to take it up front and see because I am unsure. Well I understand he doesn't know but I thought he would at least try and walk With me to assist me at least...but he didn't he just continued talking to his other co workers. I then proceeded to re front of the store with my item, and the only cash register that was open and there was not a employee there. So I looked closer by the door and two ladies were chit chatting over the iPad machine they had in their hand. I politely said "excuse me" and they turned around and asked what did I need. I stated I was wondering the price and so one of the ladies came over and checked it. I did think it was nice that she also made sure to ask about any discounts and did I have a rewards card with them. So all in all my experience at the register was the best experience. I don't live too close to this one...in fact I live closer to the joe Battle store. But i was sick of that one (read that review if you want to understand why). Anyway I called Thursday to make an appt with a particular girl. The girl on the phone was so polite and friendly. Booked me for Saturday at 9. I show up and there's no record of that at all. But the girl I can't remember anyone's name but it doesn't matter because they were all friendly and so much nicer! She said "because we care over here!" Yes I agree. The girl gets my dog in with a different groomer at 9:30. No biggie. I was going to shop the fountains anyway. I showed up before they called and lucky me he was on the table! He was so funny to watch and jodecai was AMAZING with my crazy boy. He was definitely enjoying his time on the table. she was so good with him and his squirrelly self!! He doesn't not like his paws being touched but she was calm and patient with him. It made my day to watch how good she was with my dog! The other groomers were so sweet too with their dogs on the tables. So fun to watch. When I picked him up Jodecai also helped calm him down from his barking at other dogs. He only does this at the groomers which is weird. If you are looking for a good caring groomer take your dog to this location. read more

I love coming here with our puppy Winston. It's a great place because you can bring your pet in with you to shop. They are one of the few places that carry the food our dog likes to eat. Let me tell you this story! I took my Chihuahua to the groomer at PetSmart to get her nails cut. My dog is a rescue dog. She was very timid and nervous when we adopted her and still is around strangers. She had been abused terribly. I told the girl at the shop how she was and suggested to her to put a towel over her head so she would not get so nervous. The girl did not do this and when I picked my dog up the groomer told me she snapped at her. She did not indicate that my dog made any contact with her physically. Two days later I have animal control calling me and then coming to my house! PetSmart told them my dog broke the skin of the groomer. I never saw proof of this or told about it. I was then handed papers and told to take her to the vet for home quarantine, she is all up to date with her shots etc. Well to make a long story short my vet took her temp., listened to her heart and charged me $49.00 and then it will be another $30.00 when I take her back in 10 days. I should have been shown the bite mark when I picked her up. I will never step foot in the store again. I want PetSmart to reimburse me the $79.00 because they were not truthful with me. read more

Took my lil guy here for a cut and bath they did great. Only issue was his lil beard was still a lil smelly but I'm not upset about tht. His beard always smell lik iams lol. Brought our two dogs in to be groomed on a Saturday at 4pm. The staff was extremely bland and unfriendly. When one of our dogs got nervous about being there, the woman taking them was impatient and acted like she didn't care. I wasn't comfortable with that. I will not be returning. read more

So my wife and i are traveling thru out the us with our 2 days 1 lab hound mix and a little 30lb border collie mix and decided to take them in for a bath and haircut for the little one because she has long hair so we drop them off and go over everything and she says do you want top dog packages we look at one another what is that? Oh we do this and this etc fine plus she says since the dog is smaller then a full size collie it would b cheaper. We go about our day and they call us we go over to pick them up got a bag of dogfood small one and something else for 10dollars so 32in total then we get the bill for both dogs and its 163 dollars in total what? The lab mix 39dollars ok great the collie mix had a haircut so i know its extra go to the register person couldnt get the right billing idea because we had points from buying dog food etc so thats 30dollars off because we had a coupon that the groomer gave us now i will tell u this the groomer did a great job nice haircut dogs were great my gripe is that the register person didn't have a glue as to how to deduct what should have been plus they called for a full collie not a small one which she said she would a extra 30dollars plus on top of that she then tells us that pet smart ups its cost of a grooming adog 6bucks thats right if you took your dog either a week before or a week after it would b 12 dollars cheaper before u drop off your babies make sure u go over exactly what its going cost so we inquired about the bill they were vague evasive about it and said oh yeah we owe u some money come in to get it wait u make a mistake charge us 12dollars plus 30 so 42dollars then want me to come there not a chance they ended up taking off 10dollars on the bill Corporate greed at its worst shame on you pet smart read more

I had higher expectations for this store. The store was very clean, but that should be expected being that it is almost brand new. This store also seems to have a little larger inventory than the other couple of stores in town. I was able to find a few things here that aren't available at the others, so that is definitely a plus that will bring me back. Now for the frustrating part. My whole purposes in stopping in today was to drop my dogs off for their grooming appointment. I had called yesterday to schedule their appointment, and had verified that my dogs shot records were good to go in the Petsmart system (I vet with Banfield, so this is a hard thing to keep current with them).. when I get into the groomers, they couldn't find my dogs shot records (even though it was verified yesterday), and it took almost 30 minutes for them to finally get it worked out. After I finally was able to get my incoice, I walked out to the checkout counter inside petsmart. No one (staff) to be found. I kind of walked around a bit, and then just sat my stuff down on the checkout counter and waitied, thinking that someone would see me and come ring me up. Nope. I waited there for just over 10 minutes, and then I heard someone call a cashier to the front (prob a manager who saw me there on camera).. it was another couple of minutes before someone finally came. I wasn't in a big hurry, but in my opinion that isn't very good customer service... and it is also just asking to get robbed lol. Anyway, this place has some improvements to make before I'll give more stars. read more

They did a wonderful job grooming my collie minus the hemp treatment. I would not recommend the hemp treatment. I was told it would last six weeks, but my dog no longer smells great. She isn't an outdoor dog and for an extra 24 dollars I would have expected it to last longer than a day. read more

I honestly always loved your store. And recently every time I tried to go, there was a note that said there was an emergency so the store was closed. I figured if I ordered online, it would be faster, seeing as I have two jobs, work 15 hours a day and don't have time to go around hoping the store will be open. What's worse is I keep having to call to check on my items, and after being promised it would come yesterday called today only to find out it was damaged and shipped back to your warehouse. It's Friday, and a holiday on Monday. I was on the phone for an hour with two representatives, and neither could do anything but cancel my order and ask if I wanted to order again. When booking the grooming appointment online it stated it was for three hours which is average for a full groom. I dropped them off at the scheduled time and verified they would be done by 1200. The groomer advised me they would be done between 1200 and 1 pm and they were required to have them done by 1 pm. At 1:15, I called to see the status and they were still working on one of my dogs. They did not even finish with them til after 1:30. The dogs looked good but I believe they put there walk ins over a appointment. The next issue is the website clearly states that all military veterans receive a 10% discount on all grooming services which they were refusing to honor because they don't know there own special offers. I had to talk to two managers and actually show them on their Petsmart website they had that offer. The manager was very rude and stated in order for someone to receive the discount they had to show them there own website. Bad attitude and slow service. It is stressful enough for some dogs to go a groomer but leaving them for 5 hours is even harder on them. read more

My dog had her pad cut with the grinder today which bled considerably. I had them discontinue with the grinder and only cut nails. Refused to give me a one sentence note about what happened for my protection as well as theirs if it becomes infected and requires a vet bill. I didn't take her in hurt and bleeding and don't expect that to happen there. "I'm sorry"doesn't undo what was done. Seems they want to hide guilt by not providing a written statement and then will suddenly have amnesia if it escalates to something more serious. I'd give a zero if it was possible. read more
