This is my go to place for all my electronic purchases. I recently acquired a 75 inch Samsung that was installed by Geek Squad and had from the get go some technical issues. The images would suddenly disappear and a white background with a line would show up. After two weeks, you normally cannot return the product and need to contact Samsung directly. I went to the store and they help me selecting a new TV and arrange a replacement. No question asked just a dedicated focus on services. I really recommend the Total package which is always really helpful. The also credit me for the install. This is great service and definitely great value! Best Buy no longer lets you speak to local stores. ALL calls go off shore, and they are not helpful. Warranty service takes multiple calls and visits. When requesting a supervisor over the phone, they flat out refused. Their policies, service, and follow up are terrible. I wish their after purchase support was as good as their in store support. I can always count on the Geek Squad at Best Buy- they installed a stereo system and hooked up speakers in my ceiling, they measured for and installed my new fridge and now I am coming to them yet again. I broke my ankle and am having some difficulty walking as I should. I spoke to my orthopedic surgeon and she told me to get a recumbent bike. I asked about a guys membership and she said no; I asked about a treadmill or elliptical machine- no and no. Peloton? No. She said that after looking at my X-rays, I need to take it slow and let things heal. So, I was on the hunt for a recumbent bike. I checked all the usually sporting goods spots and got a price. Then I searched Best Buy and they had an awesome deal for President's Day- the same bike I saw in other places was $388 less for the sale. I tried to order o line but I have a total tech membership that would include delivery and installation for free (got this when I bought the fridge) and I could not get the website to recognize it- and I had $45 in rewards certificates. I went into the store and they took care of me promptly and quickly. I was on my way in minutes and had a scheduled delivery date for this Friday. The team will bring it in my house and put it in the rooM of my choice, finish any needed assembly, connect it to my WiFi and make sure it all works before they leave. I am psyched! I was unable to find the process for leaving a review on the Best Buy interweb site so I'm leaving it here. Danny at the Westside El Paso, Texas, location immediately approached us and asked if we needed assistance. We definately did and and Danny was extremely patient for the 45 minutes as Danny educated us on high end printers and T.V. antennas. We purchased both because of Danny's knowledge, professionalism and patience. Danny's work ethic is the main reason we will continue to frequent Best Buy. I just bought an IWatch in Best Buy on West Side el Paso tx and after I picked up I politely asked if they could help me installed in my Iphone. I was told I had to pay 40 dollars. Needles to say if you go to AT&T they will do it for you. This is the last time I buy anything from them. Next time I will buy it directly from Apple or go to AT&T store. read more

We went in just to browse and waste some time before our movie started. They were pretty well stocked which is always a plus and all the employees were very nice. The reason I am giving a 3 is because of how disgusting the women's restroom was. Only one of the toilets looked some what decent to use but still decided to wait till the next store because of how bad it was. One of the toilets were clogged and the others had stains all over as if they haven't been cleaned in a week. Now I know never to use the restroom here while shopping. read more

WHY? I'm so disappointed with my experience with this Best Buy. How is it acceptable to send a damaged surface pro that I paid almost $1000 for in this condition? THIS is what I got. I don't even want to open the box because I'm about 99% sure that it's not going to work due to the damages. Is this the service that you provide? I wish I could this give this location 0 stars. Oh and not to mention that it was delivered late. So what's going to be done about this? I waited too long to get this in the mail because you didn't have any in stock And now what? I have to go back and return it to find out you still don't have any in stock and you have to send another one? And what if it comes back with damages? I obviously can't trust your delivery system. I watched people come in then leave, and when I asked to see a product they said we don't have it, yet when I looked it up for that store they had several in stock, they couldn't be bothered. I was there yesterday around 2:00 at the printer side, asking for some help with printers, i got helped after 45 minutes, guy was very rude. Even I talk to the lady she was in charge at that section she did not show any care , so we left the store very disappointed. Since this is a large nationwide chain, I'll focus on the quality of customer service or customer care. The associates usually catch me while I'm looking at stuff and ask if I need help with anything. Most associates appear to be in tune with the business while you may also run into the one individual who is outright apathetic. You would have to specifically ask the individual for assistance with something instead of them paying attention. This location isn't bad at all though. read more

I purchased the new iphone 15 pro along with a case and a screen protector recommended by this west side store. Some time after I dropped the phone and the phone broke from the back casing. I took it in for repair and they said they would need to order the part and I would have to leave the phone there with them. I agreed and they asked me to remove the case and screen protector. The gentleman was as shocked as I was that this phone broke from the back with a case. I mentioned to him this was my first time ever seeing an iPhone break from the back ever especially with this expensive case which was recommended by them. He recommended that I return the case since it had warranty which I later did. As I handed the phone to this gentleman he and I noticed how immaculate this phone looked other than the cracked back area. There were absolutely no nicks or damage to this phone. Approximately a week later they called and said it was ready. When they presented the phone to me I immediately noticed the nicks along the side of the phone. I told the gentleman about and he noticed it as well and said he would get someone else to assist. After a few minutes they came back and proceeded to tell me that they didn't damage the phone. I told them it was brand new and in the case sine I purchased it. They kept saying there is no way they damaged it as the back was removed with special tools that don't touch the sides of the phone. I even suggested if it was possible it was damaged while in their possession when it was moved around? They said no and also said that they were not calling me a liar but can't call their techs liars either as they must back them up. Another gentleman came to counter by the name of Brian with a very aggressive attitude and said I broke the phone and caused the damage when It was dropped. I gave him the same run down about the case and he said he was not going to take responsibility and continued to be super agreessive and began to intimate me by calling me tough guy over and over again. I was also purchasing a $1200 surface which he made quite unpleasant and frightening. He continued to call me tough guy. I finally noticed his name was Brian from his name tag. I was finally able to pay and also take the new iPhone 15 pro that they damaged while repairing. I have never felt so frightened, harassed, and intimated by anyone. Brian was super aggressive and needs customer service training. I would definitely give this experience a no star review if possible. Very disappointed read more

I went inside to get a European travel adapter, a portable phone charger and a dishwasher. At electronics I was sent to mobile devices but no one was available to help. So Jason at the front left his area and helped me search for the charger and adapter. They were out of adapters and he showed me one charger. I am not an expert so I grabbed it and asked for help at the appliances. Jason had a hard time getting an employee to help but someone walked by and was told to help me out. He asked if I knew which dishwasher and I said yes but I would need to point it out to him. He told me to walk back to appliances, take a photo of the SKU number and meet him back at his station because he didn't want to lose any other sales by walking across to appliances. Umm, seriously?!? The store was extremely dead and there were absolutely no lines. Super frustrating. So I left and will order online from another store as they clearly weren't interested in helping me out with my order. read more

I don't really see what separates this place from any other best buy. My boyfriend wanted a fit bit so we went. Honestly no one really bothered to help us. We wondered around and nothing. Oh well we had done our own research anyways. I also was happy to know that my BF knew exactly what he wanted. We checked out with no issues it was late when we went so no crowds. read more

Don't bother trying to reach anyone to make an appointment. No one answers. If you do get someone they transfer you and you get disconnected. Takes weeks to install anything in automotive department because there's just one guy trying to do it all. The tech at sunland park was really awesome in person. Not trying to blame him. They called the Las Cruces store, which was the only store in the district who had the retina display, to see if they could hold one. WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I was pretty much forced to buy a $150 uninstall for a wall mount to get my new tv installed. (Moved into new home with existing mount - which they put in.) Technician said new mounting was unnecessary. MAde phone call to MANAGER - told me take in receipt and get refund. When I did, I was treated like a piece of dirt by two asst mgrs. Went to buy a pair of wireless headphones today and they were all priced wrong. Pairs for $100 were marked $49, those for $49 were marked $34.99. Manager was unwilling to give me the marked prices and offered me the $100 ones for $75. Either honor your marked prices or get it right! I'm almost positive the entire frontline workforce is under 30, which should emblazon an energetic atmosphere and some semblance of knowledge regarding tech, pop culture, a personality--something. Every time I visit, the only two types of people who can muster any product knowledge or direct me to a specific area in the store are the employees at the Samsung section, and the imposing male they always post at the front, with an earpiece, who is supposed to serve as a CSM and maybe even asset management. Last week, my HP Spectre laptop (generation 8 bought 2 1/2 years ago) would not take a charge from my AC adaptor. I took it to Best Buy's Geek Squad and they found my AC adaptor to be working and said that most likely it was a motherboard problem. They said that buying a replacement motherboard and installing it would cost almost as much as a new computer. So I bought a new HP Spectre laptop (generation 11 which, I found has another power problem--when the AC adaptor is unplugged it still says that it's plugged in thereby rendering power level notifications and battery saver inoperable) and came back and asked them to transfer the data from my old laptop to my new laptop. They said that they couldn't do it because of the type of hard drive that the HP Spectre, both old and new have. I told them, "You mean that you cannot service the products that you sell," and they replied "Yes, that's correct." read more
