Where we live in Las Cruces we have a small Target store so when we go to El Paso we usually go shopping at this location. The store is going through a major renovation so some of their sections are closed, resulting in major discounts, which is one of the reasons my wife loves Target. When coming here it was an okay experience. Except for the grocery food. A lot of the fruit and veggies were gross and some had rot on it. Also when grabbing a gallon of milk I was hit by a disgusting odor from inside the fridge. Literally the smell of shit was inside the fridge. I was so grossed out I didn't even want to grab any meat. I stopped by about an hour after they opened but only one check out lane was available. The employees said more lanes wouldn't open until closer to 10am. Really? The store opens at 8am but only one check out lane is available for two hours? The store was somewhat busy, even this early, and there was a long line to check out. read more

I Target!! Let me see, I went in ONLY for dog food, and came out with a rug, pajamas, adorable pants for my daughter, coasters, a frame, feather duster, cake pans, and of course, dog food! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They go out if their way to help a shopper in need, like me! I did use the self-check, a first for me at Target, and actually enjoyed it. I did not feel rushed, judged, or scrutinized whatsoever, and overall, very pleasant. I like the Target Bassett Place location as it is not too crowded. Recommended! read more

January 2021 Target Store inside Basset Center Mall. So, I actually like to visit Target but I don't have one close to my home so I seldom visit. I was impressed that this location was clean, not crowded, they clean every single cart before you are able to get it. (Unlike Walmart) Thoughtful Costumer Service, and price check boxes everywhere. One thing thou the items I was looking for which they usually have lots of options were available but with limited options. Unsure why. Been planning to visit Target for years just to buy such but this time I was sad in regards to options. read more

Today made a trip to Target to look for some make up sponges for my mom and to just browse around! We were able to find my moms brushes which is always a plus as they are very popular! We also browsed around and ended up finding my nephew a Batman shirt for his birthday! The store was very clean and I'm glad to see that Target is requiring mask again! read more

Stopped by here because we needed to replenish our supplies on our long road trip. This particular Target was fully stocked and has tons and tons of aisles of everything you need. We were also happy to see so many items on sale. The place was clean and organized but be sure to ask the staff if there is something that you cannot find. This one is old and much smaller compare to other locations but I come here a lot. Target is Target so you can find everything you need. What's good about this location is that you will always be able to park close to the entrance and take your time to shop in this quiet store. As far as Targets go, this is just what you expect. I went for their skincare and makeup section, which had a great variety and seemed well stocked. I've never seen a Target that was part of a mall, which was interesting. I think the SuperTarget is better, but it wasn't a bad location! read more

It's a Target, and if you don't know what's up with Target, I'm not sure exactly what to tell you... It's ummm, a BETTER/NICER version of Wal-Mart and K-Mart with cleaner facilities, less crowded, more designer products, whilst still having competitive prices. This particular Target is tucked into the Bassett Place Mall and that right there gives it a bit less of a crowd. Which is a GOOD thing. It has everything the Wal-Mart Supercenter has, including groceries... With a lot less hassle and undesirable folks. I go to Wal-Mart too now.. So don't hate. I'm just saying, Target is a lot nicer, and my wife and I prefer it. Believe it or not, the products are actually better, designer and the prices really at competitive and comparable. ok so understand that this is New Years Eve after all the sales and before they probably got all their new shipments in as you read my review. I was recently in the are and needed a place where I could one stop shop and get everything from hygiene materials to food and drinks to electronics. This target was right down the road from Home2 Suites where I was staying and I decided to take a drive down there. It was incredibly busy here. There really isn't a prominent sign sitting outside saying that there is a Target but I assure that there is. It's part of a larger strip mall - mall complex. Once you walk in the door you'll see it. The parking lot was surprisingly small for the number of frequently visited stores in this area so you may find yourself driving around a bit before finding a spot. When you first walk in, you'll see the personal hygiene section which then becomes a grocery section. They have frozen goods, drinks and fresh fruit that looked pretty decent. Take a further walk down and you'll start to see the discounts. This time of year it was pretty much all the discounted Christmas items and mostly empty shelves. Then you'll see the clothing/furniture area and then finally the electronics section. Was trying to get an Apple charger by Apple but I instead had to settle for all the alternative companies because they were out of stock. Check out was quick. They have self check out as well. Little disappointed with the stock because I wanted to pick up a few other things but they just didn't have it on the shelf that day. Perhaps I caught them at a bad time. read more

Me and my family went to get some new underwear and a couple pair of shorts for everyone, we ended up getting the items we need but had to go back for fabric softener and it was so simple to get in and out with all the products we needed. The employees were nice and helped when needed, a nice man also helped get red tags off the shorts I had even though I was at self checkout. It was clean and had a great experience. One thing I will note is this target is in Bassett place so it is quite business in the afternoon time. read more

Nice large Target Greatland just off the 10 freeway. It's your typical Target with some groceries, except that this one has entrance inside a mall. (Kinda different....) But same conveniences as every other Target. (I can't remember if there's a Starbucks here or not though...) read more

But, the "customer service supervisor" found every reason not to price match the item. I found my item and much better customer service at Lowes. (Lowes also gives 10% military discount). I shop here a lot and nothing usually sticks out as particularly awful or great about this place, but recently I had to return a DVD I bought. The DVD was missing a disc. I brought the DVD back and the customer service attendant treated me like I was responsible for stealing it. They didn't have another one in stock, so they said there was nothing they could for me. I called a manager and eventually they refunded my money after seeming annoyed for being called to customer service. Yes, I got my money, but, after the first salesperson treated me like a thief because someone didn't do their job the first time and allowed it to be returned and they resold missing the product, I'll try my best not to return to this Target. read more

I love Target, and this simple fact usually gets me in to trouble. This chain offers very affordable and stylish clothing, shoes, and accessories to complete your outfit, or decor to add your personal touch to your living room, This particular location also offers a few grocery items and wine. The cafe located inside the store is nothing fancy, but its sure to curb your snack craving. This Target location is located inside of a small mall with a movie theater, so you can catch a flick after your Target extravaganza if you so desire. The one draw back to this Target: they seem to be understaffed. They have 20 available registers, and at any given time, no more than 7 are available to customers, and this usually ends up leading to an obnoxious wait. Love the store, but it definately wouldn't hurt to hire a few more people!! read more

this is the worst unhelpful rude target ive been to!! im never shopping at target again! everytime im in there i always get rude, unhelpful people! target is my #1 place to shop and now im never shopping at this specific store ever again! if you are using coupons..i highly recommend not to go here! i went here today and they said that the coupon policy "changed" and they do not accept coupons that look "iffy" or "blurry" but it doesnt specify on the coupon policy! it says "we accept internet coupons that are scannable" so i went across town to another target then i asked customer service "how it changed?" the service rep said that they scan and theyre good to use! bassett target you really need to educate your employees about the coupon policy. read more

The entrance is hard to find, I drove all around till I saw it shared the same entrance as Rue 21. Its a smaller target than I'm used to but it was quiet and I got in and out with no problem. Bonus, it had self check out. I docked one star for no visible entrance or signage that that was the entrance. read more

They re-modeled this Target to add more grocery options, its quite nice, not as much variety as a Super Target, but definitely more stuff than there used to be. The store is clean (which is kind of surprising since its inside a ghetto-ish mall), and well stocked. About the only drawback to this store is having to navigate Bassett Center's mess of a parking lot. read more

Pretty organized compared to some target stores that I've been too. Customer service is pretty good. Was looking for key locks today but they didn't have any brass heavy duty key locks. The school year has started and I needed to buy supplies for my assignment. I was absolutely thrilled to find 2-pocket folders, similar to what my district had purchased in previous years but there are no current funds to continue buying them. These folders might be a slightly less quality, but they were only FIFTEEN CENTS apiece--what a bargain! I bought all on the shelves, and will investigate other Target stores to see if the same lucrative deal exists. My only fault--and truly it is mine--is that I didn't get the name of the cashier who had to put up with my bringing a huge quantity through. She is the epitome of a great employee, cheerful and helpful. I like Target and will return! read more

On February 14, 2013, our high school living skills class went on a field trip to Target. Students were to look for household items to purchase. Some of our students require the utilization of communication devices to speak for them. While in the kitchen section, one of our chaperons, asked an employee for help so that the student with the communication device could ask her where to find a certain product. At this time the employee rudely stated she was off the clock. The chaperon then asked if she could find another employee to help and once again the employee rudely stated she was off the clock and walked away. While still searching in the kitchen section, the chaperon observed the same rude employee stocking items and wheeling out more items to stock. When I approached the assistance manager about this he stated that if the employee was off the clock there was nothing he could do. I called the main Manager, Jeff Block, later that same day and have yet to receive a response. It is a shame that Target is represented by such employees/managers. Any school taking special needs students Target should reconsider. It amazes me that Target would allow such blatant disregard for these students. read more
