    Taking care of business
    Marie G.

I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised! I had to come into the Spectrum store to take care of some business and the location has great hours! They even had Saturday evening g hours. The wait time was short and the staff were friendly fly and helpful. This mad my transaction smooth and hassle free. Thank you Spectrum!

I have to say dealing with Spectrum Enterprise is a nightmare it can be a very frustrating experience. I signed with Spectrum Enterprise to get fiber and a dedicated line. What a mistake. The upload speed was only 25MPS for more than $300 a month; and still many network failures. I cannot reach any agent representative. Called their 800 number and dealt with the automatic voice that transfer to tech support when I want to cancel the account. I have waited for hours on the phone. The speed was so slow we could not download brain tumor images for treatment while my son was in his PC. And when you reach a rep they don't really have any decision power and they make it very difficult to close an account. It is always the wrong department. The manager David G .does not returned phone calls. They keep moving you around. I recommend to move to YouTube TV for a cheaper and great alternative to cable!

I got my first bill and was 79.99 and I called 3 times to complain and they said they would take care of the problem and the last one was a manager and that I would get email with the correct amount within 2 hours which I never received anything. I had to call again and talk to representative who said that the bill was 79.99 and I explained everything to him and he said the promotion was not offered when I got the service, so then their representatives lied about the promotion which is not my fault. I then talked to a manager who was no help and only wanted to give a one time credit and I told him no that I was promised 49.99 and what I am going to pay and not going to pay 30.00 more. I was then transferred to loyalty department which was no help as they kept saying they were going to check what the other representatives told me, then she said there was an error message and to call back in 24 hours. I told her I already called 4 times and they still can't correct the problem. This is the worst company ever and will have to look for another company. I should have stayed with t"mobile as they keep their promises they told me. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from AT&T as they lie to you to hook you in and then they change everything and that promotions were not good when you got the service. I wish they would keep their promise and charge you what you were promised. The whole company is bad from Representative , to managers to loyalty department.

I feel like not enough people are talking about this company. And if they are, they can't seem to…read moreseparate them from their former namesake. I mean, if you're a customer, then it should be fairly obvious that Spectrum and Time Warner are totally NOT the same company. You see, I've lived in [and out of] El Paso over enough years to remember the abysmal days of Time Warner. Most of you know what I'm talking about. The days where cancelling service was about as pleasant as getting a root canal and about as convenient as driving your car to work with only three tires. Back when Time Warner was still a thing, my Internet service would drop its connection literally every 15 minutes at worst...to once a day at best. One time their service techs came to my property, ripped out all the wires from the ground so they could replace them with newer (faster?) lines. Guess what happened. That's right--the Internet kept dropping like clown pants on a pratfall. But then...I moved down the street to a house with better interconnectivity infrastructure. And then...Time Warner was ancient history like yesterday's garbage. Next thing we know, in walks Spectrum like John Wick tearing it up at a nightclub full of gangsters about to get slayed. Near as I can figure, the game changed tremendously once Spectrum took over. From much more open communication with tech support, to tighter ETAs for scheduled house installations, to more frequently upgraded (not to mention functional) hardware, to simply...ya know....operating like a STEADY ISP!! For the most part. See, Spectrum is not perfect. No ISP ever is or will be. We still experience random disconnections. But they are few and far between. My only real complaint with that is how their new router and modem configuration causes the resetting process to take well over 6 to 10 minutes to reconnect. Now, that may not sound like a long time. But imagine waiting that long for the service to return as you're waiting for the rest of "My 600 Pound Life" to finish buffering. *Disclaimer: I do NOT watch 600lb Life, guys; my wife does. I just wanted to use a reference more folks could relate to. Oh, but what of the main headquarters, you ask? Well, it's quite efficient, actually. Not much to say, except for the fact that they are doing well to adhere to COVID standards. More interestingly, they have greatly simplified and reduced the wait times in the lobby with a digital sign-in service. Customers are called up by name in the order they signed in and the few times I've had to come here to return equipment, the lobby is never crowded. This place hasn't been reviewed in over 4 months and most of the one star reviews date back to 2019. I really don't know what these other blokes are on about. And I realize ISP experiences vary from customer to customer. But as for me, I'm sufficed to give Spectrum 4 mostly steady Internet connections with minimal downtime out of 5. They ain't perfect. But it sure beats the hell out of expensive satellite service with monthly data caps.
