I am so thrilled that Off the Charts Games is still open! Went in tonight with friends and played a new game for us. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The shop was already fairly full with gamers but he was happy to set up a table and chairs for us. They have a nice selection of games and jigsaws in their library and they have very reasonably priced snacks and drinks. They sell both used and new games. The store was brightly lit and very clean. Ever watched the YouTube show with Wil Wheaton called "Tabletop? If you haven't, you should. This store has a majority of the games that show spotlights. They sell Catan, Ticket to Ride, Azul, Splendor ... all the games that your typical Target does not sell. Wonderful strategy, card and table top games. Ron, the owner, can tell you about any of the games. He has helped us select games that we can play with our elementary age kids. He also has helped us finding games that all ages enjoy playing. I believe this store is also a benefit to the community as "family game night" brings quality time with family and friends. While I have said names of games, shop locally! Go in and talk tonRon about the games. Off the Charts Games also has some games you can play in the store if you have time. Don't know what you want? Don't worry neither did I and it didn't matter a bit! Ron is the owner and is very helpful. He has played almost every game in the store. In fact if he has time, he will play a store copy of most any game with you. So far here are the odd questions I have asked Ron and he has helped find what I needed every time... "My 9 year old cried when I beat him at Risk, can you find a game where I don't have to decimate my children opponents?" We learned about "co-op" games. "I need a game I can play with my wife who just had surgery, she can't move from the bed" He found a dice game and some card games that don't require a board. "All my friends are super good at Ticket to Ride, I'm tired of losing all the time. Is there some expansion I can get to throw them off a bit?" I got an expansion and several "pro tips" for my next game. "Ron my wife yells at me when I shuffle the game cards, and tells me not to bend her cards, on a second infraction she kicks me under the table. Is there some magical shuffling device?" He showed me the custom sizes of card sleeves, I have not been kicked since. read more

Give this store your patronage! It may be a good idea to do some research before going, as during COVID you won't be able to go in and browse browse, but I will always drive out of my way to buy all my games from this store. I am always met with impeccable customer service, and they will help you shop through the window for a COVID safe transaction- have your cell phone ready so that you aren't out on the sidewalk yelling and miming your questions through the glass. Take recommendations, the owners of this store are knowledgeable and passionate, and you know you've found a good one when they light up! My spouse and two kiddos popped in here to kill some time while I had a dress fitted down the street. My son was looking at a Pokémon battle game, and the owner, out of the blue, told him he could have it on the house!!! A huge variety of challenging/entertaining board, card & dice games for all skill levels, as well as the largest selection of puzzles I have ever seen. I really love finding well run and stocked game stores and Off the Charts Games fits in that category for sure. Ron went out of his way to show me how games I was interested played. Ron spoke to me with zero pretentiousness and was excited about recommending others games that fit what I was looking forward. I picked up Honshu and Onirim while I was there, but they had so many more recent and popular "gamers" games. The store was tidy and neat and also had a nice game library and area to play. First time visit - it was super clean and quiet in there. It was Sunday, so I didn't expect it to be bustling. Wide selection of many popular games. I was surprised to see so many typically difficult to find limited run/small batch CheapAss and Dice Hate Me games. I snagged a couple on my way out. read more

This is what a game store should be. Amazing owners (super friendly and Ron can teach a game better than anyone I've ever met), very good selection, and regular game nights (Wednesdays and Fridays 6-9) with very good people. Off the Charts Games is a great place to buy and/or learn about board games. They have a couple of tables and a "library" so one can play a game to try it out before buying or just have a great afternoon with friends. This is not a game store focused on the RPG (role playing game) crowd though they do have dice and a few supplies for d20 games. Just a wonderful experience! Dropped in for our first visit while traveling on vacation. We have 2 children and asked for games we could play as a family. The workers, I believe they were the owners, were very helpful. They showed us several games and we played a demo copy in the store. This cut down the rule learning time and gave us a feel of which games to buy (we bought 4 out of the 5 games we sampled). Love this store! The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful and we always manage to find something we like. They also have a good size area in the back where you can try out games from their library before you buy them. If you come in when it's not busy the owner will even sit down and play for a while and help you figure out the mechanics.
