Store front and an iced campfire mocha
Serena S.

There's no reason the coffee here should be great! But it is! If you want caffeine near the Hollywood theater, this is your only option. On top of no nearby shops, it's a 5 minute walk and open super late, til 10 pm. AND this shop is primarily a table top rpg shop, and a really good one! But the coffee here is still great! The campfire mocha was delicious. Given that the Hollywood theater doesn't even carry Red Bull, I feel like they should have a sign promoting Battle Grounds! This will def be my new pre-movie ritual.

D&D Summer Camp focused on inclusion, collaboration, mini painting, and how to be a better player & DM!

The greatest li'l gaming cafe that could! Inspired by a neighborhood need for an FLGS of its own, the Hollywood district finally has a super game store and a locally-sourced cafe now, too! Every Tues is Mini Painting Night, and there are other awesome events every week for each kind of gamer -- even those that are just beginning to explore the hobby! The genuinely friendly staff and the community support make this a worthwhile drive from any corner of Portland any night of the week, hands down. That's not even mentioning the incredible summer camp they're launching soon, either! (Check that out here, fellow parents! https://piecemakers.us/dd-5e-summer-camp-the-circle-of-everwyr )

I was excited to come for their opening after visiting their booth at Rose City Comic Con. The space is totally bigger on the inside. They have lots of fun games for sale as well as house games in back for play. Everyone was super friendly and kind. I loved how cozy it was and look forward to coming back sometime.

Special Pride month bagel from Spielman's, with a Buckleberry Fog to sip on.

Welcoming spot with friendly & helpful staff. There are small cafe tables in the front, and bigger tables for more involved gaming in the back, as well as an extensive game library to give you the opportunity to try out something new. An excellent way to spend a little time away from a screen for all ages. I highly recommend the Buckleberry Fog made with D&Tea's Shire Second Breakfast, a frosted sugar cookie from Spielman's, and a game of Dice Throne!

It has lots of tables, a few sofas to sit down and enjoy your coffee and also kind of a bar counter sitting as well. It also has some tables outside when the weather is inviting. It has a Scandinavian vibe of decor which I love. For a Sunday morning it was super busy. Service is super fast and they are very friendly. They have great coffee options including some very interesting Specialty drinks like their Turmeric Latte. They also have their in house made syrups. They are a Coffee Roaster and their bean quality is excellent. We ordered a Lavender Cappuccino and a Turmeric Latte. Wow, they were both delicious. They do have fresh pastries but nothing gluten free. Definitely a place to hang out and enjoy your coffee alone or with friends and family.

I popped in on a weekday morning and it was bustling with people. The line wasn't long and I got helped quickly. The person taking my order was friendly and offered solid information comparing their chai to the London fog. He proceeded to ask me about my day and seem like he actually cared. I wasn't sticking around, but there were open tables. Things were clean. They also have plenty of room to sit outside if you'd like. There are pastries and some cold drinks in a case. There aren't a lot of gluten free options, but they did have one muffin I could have had. The drink preparation takes a bit of time. There were people already waiting and many of their drinks have special preparations (pour overs, steeping the tea). Have a minute to wait. I had the London Fog and the baristas advice held true. The flavor was worth the wait and I will surely go back. They roast their own coffee and make you feel welcome. Plus, there's a bookstore across the street. Love all around.

It indeed wasn't far from where we needed to be when the appointment time neared and it proved to be a good stop! I got a London Fog drink. This is one I like returning to as Autumn approaches and into winter. This was a good version of the Earl Grey dominant drink as it had all the presence of this eye opening black tea and the frothy dreaminess in the foam that makes me very fond of this hot drink. I also got a S'Mores cookie that I liked very much. I had it warmed and it made it nice and gooey. This is a good sized coffee shop and there is outdoor seating as well so when the weather is cooperative that is an option to hang out as well.

Love charming venues like this! They have a variety of seating areas inside and outside. There were three different rooms inside to sit in. We ended up ordering the crustless quiche and iced coffees. The quiche was outstanding and served on a bed of spinach. The coffees were yummy too! Prices were reasonable. The two ladies helping us at the counter were friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful first visit. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch menu! Would definitely recommend.

I should have ordered the biscuits and gravy. I watched some guy eat it and was instantly jealous. Not because the bagel wasn't good but because I have food fomo ha. The staff is super friendly and interactive. They were also super polite for being so busy. The coffee shop is quaint and small. Not sure if they have an upstairs area but some seats are inside and outside. It's on Main Street and very nice area. I like this place!

It was a Thursday morning. There was only 1 person ahead of us in line. The person who took our order answered all my questions. (They do keep a steady stream of customers it seemed.) We got our food and headed upstairs to find a seat. It looked crowded when we got up there, so we went back downstairs to sit outside. Someone came out and grabbed us and told us about a seating area they had that was kind of hidden. It was perfect. So, we had a nice, cozy spot to eat. The place remained pretty busy and it seemed like patrons stayed a while. The food was great - we had the jalapeño bagel, biscuits and gravy, and an egg scramble. We were all very happy with our picks. For drinks we had a golden milk latte, pumpkin spice latte, and a strawberry lemonade. All of them were great. We loved everything about Brewed and we just really appreciate the service and yummy food and drinks.
