I trusted the restaurant to give me what I ordered and so I didn't think I had to double check the boxes since they were in a bag that was already tied. I bartend at a local bar in the area and often recommend Bridge city to our customers. Never again. I feel robbed. Never again will I order my kids birthday cakes there either. I know it's just a few dollars but it's principle. Integrity is everything to me. And the biggest issue is honestly not the mistake in the cake, I have never ordered a salad at any restaurant my entire life and been charged for salad dressing. Have you? They also hold fun events, so follow them on Instagram for updates. We recently visited them for their annual special event of a holiday treats & holiday ales pairing (4 treats paired with a taster flight of 4 holiday ales for $21) and it was so yummy! We even picked up a couple of vintage specialty Fortside Brewing beers in bottles to take home. The lady working the taps was so friendly & helpful, too, even with how busy they were she always had a smile on her face. They have rustic decor giving it a lodge feel inside.
