Food 8/10 service a no go. Yolanda was rude and had zero personality. Never will I ever.

    Excellent pecan smoked ribs

Best BBQ we had on the Texas BBQ Tour in Ft Worth Out of the 3 places we went, this was my overall favorite. It is Off-The-Chain good The pork baby-back ribs are slow cooked with pecan wood. You don't even need sauce because they are so good The brisket is pretty good The sausage is very tasty The sides are amazing! Homemade Mac N Cheese. I don't really have that much Mac N Cheese much anymore but this was delicious. Beans were delicious...good vibrant flavors The Potato Salad was some of the best I've EVER had

Brisket, sausage, ribs, whole chicken cut into half sizes, smoked turkey and bread. Pickles and onions.

Was in town visiting family and decided to try a bbq spot after finding this place on Yelp I decided to order online and I'm glad I did cause when we got there to pickup our order the drive thru line was 15 cars deep!! I was glad we picked this spot cause the food must be good because who waits in a line that long if the food isn't good.. and I was glad we did an online order because they brought out food right out to us in the pickup order parking spot. We ordered so much food and everything was good the sausage, turkey, brisket and whole chicken were all so good. The turkey was my favorite. We also ordered tons of sides Mac & cheese, potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw. We also ordered the peach cobbler. The Mac &cheese and peach cobbler were so good we went back the next day and ordered more the family size kits are perfect. Glad we chose this place I will be coming back

Pretty good BBQ. Not the best I've ever had but certainly good. Read about this place in a magazine so expectations were high. A bright spot in kind of in a run down area, located in a rehabbed Dairy Queen. Locally owned and operated. Super friendly service! Very casual and laid back. I had the ribs and chopped beef. Ribs were excellent. Very smoky flavor and juicy. Chopped beef was very finely chopped, completely saturated in sauce. It was okay, sauce was kind of sweet. The two sauces they have are okay: 1 sweet and one spicy, peppery. If you are in Dallas and feel like taking a side tour, check out off the bone!

Burnt, Dried up Ribs, Old hard bread on Sandwiches. Called to order a replacement and no one answered. Horrible experience, poor quality of food.

They are extremely friendly. The food is not up to my standards. My brisket is better, potato salad definitely does not come close to mine.

There are plenty of interesting options, making it easy for everyone in the group to find something appealing. We started with the Giant Pretzel and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and both were excellent. The pretzel was warm and flavorful, while the Brussels sprouts were crispy and well-seasoned. These appetizers ended up being some of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the pork ribs. The portion size was just right, leaving me satisfied without feeling overly full. The ribs were enjoyable, but they didn't quite measure up to what you'd find at a dedicated Texas barbecue joint. They were good, just not particularly memorable for a region known for exceptional barbecue. One of the restaurant's biggest strengths is its location. Situated right along the river and close to other shops and attractions, it's a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The outdoor setting and overall vibe create a fun, lively experience that encourages you to linger a little longer. Overall, The Woodshed Smokehouse is a fun destination with a fantastic location and a unique menu. While the food was solid, the restaurant's atmosphere and setting are what truly stand out. It's worth a visit if you're looking for a casual meal and an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon.

I ordered the pork chop plate, and the server kindly let me try both a fried pork chop and a smothered one since I couldn't make up my mind. I also had fried cabbage and yams. The cabbage had a little unexpected heat to it, but that's actually the same way my family cooks theirs, so I ended up really enjoying it. One thing that stood out to me was the staff. I'm not sure if the restaurant is always staffed this way, but I was genuinely impressed that all the front-line workers were men -- and every single one of them was courteous, respectful, patient, and mindful of each customer. While I enjoyed my meal, I watched them treat each person who walked in with the same positive energy and attentiveness. If you're in the area, go support this restaurant. In today's world it's comforting to know there are businesses verifying identity! Kudos!! Once seated at home I opened my container to hot fried catfish, tomatoes and okra, Mac n cheese and hot water cornbread. My first bite of everything was very good and seasoned to perfection. I got so full so quick that I wasn't able to finish but it made for perfect leftovers later that day. On to the desserts! My mom got a slice of pecan pie and I enjoyed the strawberry cake. Both were tasty and prepared perfectly! I will stop in again for fried pork chops when it's time for an off plan meal.

We got the Hells Half Acre at around $100 and it could easily feed 6 people. So much food and extremely delicious. There were 3 of us and we barely made a dent. Meats: they were out of the ribs and sausage :( but they substitute with anything but their brisket. We got a double order of their pulled pork and turkey. The meats alone were worth the trip. Sides: we got the Borracho beans and the cream corn. My daughter is a huge fan of their corn so we got 2 of them since the Hells Half Acre comes with 3 sides (and they are huge) Convenience: no 2 hours to wait in line before they open, just show up and order. Usually places like this are a step below but the taste was on point! Sauce: food doesn't need it but boy does that sauce hit. Cons: didn't come with bread and the counter service looked less than thrilled to take orders. Ranking: tied with Hutchins. For context I've been to Franklins, Goldees, LeRoy and Lewis, La Barbeque, Cattleack, Hard 8, Terrys, Pecan Lodge and others in Texas and from an overall experience they don't come close to Panther City. When you don't have to wait in line and the meat is just as good and the sides are better- no brainer!
