Unable to get anyone to answer phone. Called several times. Tried looking up different phone numbers. Couldn't reach anyone.

I live super close to Brindleys, and I love supporting local! I have a professional model solid…read moresilver flute that I wanted to get overhauled, as it hasn't been played in several years. Everyone I spoke to was really nice, and I was able to get my flute serviced quickly. The instrument repair person is there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They did a pretty good job, but definitely didn't polish my flute, which I was kind of disappointed about, especially since I asked it to be thoroughly cleaned (this was also indicated on my service ticket they typed up). I was able to polish it myself after I got it back with a silver polishing cloth that I had to purchase. They have a huge variety of instruments, accessories, and books! It does seem to be more catered to guitars/percussion, but they still had a decent selection for woodwinds and brass. They also have tons of teachers that do private lessons. I will definitely be returning if I need anymore repairs done, as they did a nice job with those!

Bruce suggested that he could simply replace the "nut" which elevates the strings above the frets. Well, bingo he was right. Saved me some serious $. He and his team were a huge help when I was buying an additional guitar and amp setup. Brindleys is an honest to goodness music store! Thanks guys. - Mickey Keyes

His attention to detail, skill, and professionalism are evident from the moment he begins his work. If your piano is out of tune, I can't recommend Fred highly enough. He has an incredible ability to bring a piano back to life, and the difference in the sound is remarkable. I'm so grateful for his expertise and will definitely continue to trust him with my piano.

We purchased a new grand piano during a Rockley Foundation sale at Mesa Community College over the…read moresummer. As is the case with sales of this type, the pianos receive a quick tune on-site before the sale, but it is not uncommon at all to require additional servicing after they are delivered to your home. Such was the case with ours when one of the keys began sticking. Leta called me yesterday (Saturday) after receiving an email from the Rockley Foundation, whom I contacted after the key began sticking. Leta was very pleasant to work with. Her concern that we be taken care of was apparent. She dispatched Fred Smith ("Fred The Piano Tuner") that same day. My son-in-law met with Fred and was very impressed at his knowledge, 40+ years of experience and his kind and caring demeanor. He spent a remarkable amount of time with the piano and showed many things to my interested grandsons. We opted for the repair (covered by Rockley - thank you!!) and to have an extensive tuning done on it at our cost. By the end, several keys were "unstuck" and it was brought to "A440" (?). Fred recommends 4 tunings the pianos first year with us so enable the strings to "settle in" for it's lifetime. Thank you very much for helping us! Gratefully yours, Lori Wilkerson

Spring Cleaning Can Be Fun! Packing up old items that are…read morestill in good condition and trading them for in-store credit is a great way to broaden your horizons while clearing out clutter. As a mom, here's what my sons and I think is worth knowing. The boys always say, "Mom, they have everything!" They especially enjoy the summer book club and the kids' section, which is filled with activities and take-home kits. Here's what you need to know: Electronics: Clean them, charge them, and bring all accessories. Original boxes are a bonus. It's a great place to upgrade devices or find missing computer parts, gaming consoles, and accessories. Books: They accept a wide variety, including religious books, cookbooks, romance novels, fiction, comics, scrapbooks, and more. Music & Entertainment: Instruments, CDs, vinyl records, movies, and other media are worth bringing in as well. If you're not happy with your trade-in value, politely ask if there's any flexibility. I've always had a positive experience with their customer service. The Trade-In Process: Bring your items to the trade-in counter. They'll take your name and phone number, review your items, and call you when they're finished. You'll receive both a cash offer and a store credit offer. For registered items, you'll need a valid ID, and fingerprinting may be required. Happy spring cleaning!

I always feel like they give a really fair amount in trade credit, and somehow we always find new treasures to bring home. I especially love the board game section. It's packed with great options, though I do wish it was organized a bit more because there's so much to dig through. The kids area is wonderful too. On our last visit my daughter spent a ton of time browsing the young adult aisles and discovering new books. I only wish there was a location a little closer to us because we'd probably go even more often. Also throwing this out there... if they ever started a kids or teen book club, we would be all over that!
