Lunch special: tofu stew + spicy pork
    Allison K.

Went here twice with my parents. Bulgogi is excellent - definitely no "boiled" texture, you could tell it was grilled. Hugeee portion too, has like 5 servings in there. The lunch special with the tofu stew + spicy pork is an excellent deal at $14 for both items!! The spicy pork has a delicious marinade and isn't too spicy, plus the tofu stew is decent and a good portion. No frills, high quality food at a fantastic price.

Bare bones KBBQ, very traditional, very old school. And that's what makes it so great if you wanna get lots of meat and don't care for variety then this is your place for a really affordable and filling meal. You do have 90 minutes to interdine, but this was plenty of time for me and my partner. They also offer a choice of soup or Steamed egg to go with your meal. They also offer very simple banchan and a small thing of rice, which is great to cut the fattiness and complex flavors of the marinated meat. Pretty much all the meat is marinated, so you may get sick of the same flavors. I can see this place being a family tradition or favorite restaurant for its affordability and homey feeling.

I would come back here just for the ssambab! Unlimited ssambab M-F which I missed since I came on a weekend but just ordered the a la cart version of it. The spicy pork is really flavorful and I love all the veggies it comes out with.

    Sesame dipping sauce - delicious!!

This was our second visit (the first visit was during throes of Covid) and our first time opting for the all you can meat option ($29.99). We came early afternoon on a Saturday and there were still a few open tables. Despite some idiosyncrasies, we enjoyed our meal and will be back. The meat options include beef brisket (but was not available when we here), pork belly, bulgogi, chopped marinated beef steak, marinated boneless pork ribs, chopped marinated pork steak, spicy boneless pork ribs, marinated spicy chicken, marinated chicken and beef intestines. You can order two meats at a time. We tried the pork belly, bulgogi, beef steak and spicy chicken. My favorite was the pork belly (so we ordered a second round of that). We also especially enjoyed the beef steak. Curiously, the meal comes with only one bowl of soup, even if there is more than one person at the table. Scrambled/steamed egg comes in a separate bowl, for adding to the soup. The meal also comes with a bottomless banchan tray. I liked its light macaroni salad and the banchan vegetables were very good. Each person is also provided with a covered bowl of white rice. The award for best flavor of the day goes to the sesame sauce that you can drizzle over your meat, rice and vegetables. The restaurant staff cooks the meat for you, frequently coming over and stirring/turning over the meat in the grill on your table. They were pretty good about that, except for one time when they forgot about our meat cooking and the chicken was burned black. They did give us a replacement. But overall, service was excellent and attentive.

It's been awhile since I came here but when I did I enjoyed my experience. I just came with a friend for a quick nice meal and thats what we got! Service was good but I would say the ambiance kind of didn't match the vibe. Like it's so dark and stuff but I would consider this more of a homey place. Perhaps their night life is popping? idk but I should try the bbq next time.

One of the more affordable AYCE KBBQ spots in the DMV, but not sure I'd be back anytime soon. The pork belly and brisket were the best cuts out of the ayce.

' Way gah gib' that's how it's pronounced. Had to ask because I'm not proficient with Korean spelling and pronunciation, but I know food! If you've never been here before, or not familiar with the area, you will miss this place because it's tucked behind a Mexican restaurant. It's not fancy by any means, but the meats are really good and so is the dip that is provided. It's sesame based for sure. It comes with 4 types of banchan and a delicious salad to share for all. There is the option to get soup and steamed egg. If you want more than one bowl each, it's extra $2.99 a serving. The soup has a little bit of a bite so be wary if you don't like spice. I love spice and thought it was just right. The servings of meat are quite plentiful. We got the pork belly, marinated steak, spicy boneless pork rib and beef brisket. That was enough for the 3 of us. They also cook the meat for you! That was kinda nice. They dont stand there the whole time, but they come back quite frequently, adjust the burner if necessary and let you know when meat is cooked. They are very efficient. We didn't need to wait for anything. Thay have another side menu with pancakes, rice cakes , mandu, and more, but that's extra cost. Not necessarily needed at kbbq, if you want the grilled meat. You can also ask from garlic and jalapeño on the side, Would definitely dine here again if I. The mood for kbbq.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This has become one of my favorite restaurants. The staff is quick and tentative. They have a great selection of meats for the all you can eat with brisket being my favorite. The Bulgogi and marinated steak are also great options. What makes this place so amazing is the sauce they give you and the soup!! The soup is a must try!

    Smelled rotten and tasted BAD

This was, without question, the worst experience I've ever had at this restaurant -- and I've been here over 10 times. Let's start with the bill: automatic gratuity has always been for parties of 6 or more. Since when did you start forcing it on parties of 4? Forcing customers to pay extra without transparency is dishonest and unacceptable. Now the food and service: I know exactly how your green salad and bean sprouts should taste because I eat them every single time I visit. What I was served tonight was spoiled -- it smelled rotten and tasted bad. When I asked politely for a new plate, the server glared at me and snapped, "WHAT'S UP WITH IT?" Then challenged me with, "HOW? We just made a new batch." Excuse me? A paying customer should never be interrogated or disrespected like that. If the food was fine, why would I bother to ask for a replacement? Instead of apologizing, he brought another plate that was just as bad, shrugged his shoulders, smirked, and walked away. No apology. No respect. Nothing but arrogance and rudeness. This is beyond careless -- it's insulting. Food that tastes spoiled is a health risk, and a server who laughs at customers and dismisses their concerns has no business working in this industry. To make it worse, you automatically added a 20% tip to a party of 4. On a night like this, that server deserved $0. Forcing customers to tip on top of terrible service is pure robbery.

There was a lot of sushi and sashimi( of course it won't be grade A ...it's a buffet) but you'll survive. LOBSTER: They bring out a limited amount of lobster every 15 mins and if you don't time it right, you won't get any. Hubster and son preferred the crab. I've been here couple times and always leave full and satisfied and make sure to get there at or around 5pm. Main reason I come here is to eat crab legs. It's genius. It has so many good food varieties that it's hard not find something you will enjoy. Hot pot food selection is not bad at all. Always get this too when are here. But always curious, aren't these small hot pot containers a hazard? What happens if someone accidentally knocks it over? Good thing we arrived early enough to beat the crowd and get dibs on the food that alone would be worth $20 if eating by itself in a typical Chinese resto - examples include the seafood (which my wife says was surprisingly fresh compared to all other buffets we've had in the past), ribs, roast duck, pho (yes...PHO!) - to name a few. The place itself is quite spacious, modern looking, and clean. Tables were NOT crammed together like some other buffets might be. Restrooms were big and clean. Speaking of cleanliness - plates were clean AND DRY (unlike every other buffet I've been to where the dishwasher seems to be so overwhelmed that plates come out wet...yuck) Staff is amazing! Friendly, took their time, efficient at removing dirty plates, and gentle...not sure what I mean by that, but I feel like it made my dining experience that much better. Food-wise, I'd say was slightly a step above in terms of the non-seafood items. My wife says the seafood was top notch. I really enjoyed the ribs, chicken stick, and beef broccoli - although everything else was quite tasty. My 7 y/o enjoyed the pizza, fries, and chicken nuggets. The taro bun was nice and soft - a definite departure from the stale, hard-on-the-outside buns I was accustomed to at other buffets. Most surprisingly was that they had pho!...which I've never ever seen before at a Chinese buffet. I didn't have a chance to try it, but will certainly do so next time. Parking-wise - there seems to be dedicated parking at the resto level (at least I didn't see any other businesses at that lower level) which can be accessed by driving straight towards the buffet and NOT going to the upper level where the Burlington strip mall is. If lower level parking is full, there would certainly be more parking in upper level....then simply take the stairs down to buffet. I'm excited to go back....and excited for YOU to try it! Definitely one of the best....if not THE BEST Chinese buffet I've ever been to. And having experienced the Chinese buffets in Southern California, that's saying a lot! NOTE: Don't compare a buffet to a traditional Chinese restaurant. In a buffet....it's more about getting your fill. Here, I think you'll find that you not only get your fill, but you'll be satisfied. I also loved the made-to-order noodle bar, where I customized a pho bowl topped with beef, wontons, and roasted duck. It was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. Wasabi was chalky and ginger looked days old. Soy sauce? Evaporating. Buffet choices were super slim, mainly shrimp. Beef and chicken stir fry didn't look worth the plate space. Two kinds of fried wings in total, which didn't help. Another staff had their phone volume maxed out, so the noise never stopped. Salad bar was a sad scene; brown edges and limp leaves, with dressings crusted over like they'd been sitting since breakfast. Forget the dessert section and fruit; nothing looked tempting.
