this is the best mediterranean food that i have EVER HAD!! As a vegan, it was super cool to see that they have a vegan and vegetarian section of their menu. The falafel was not dry at all, instead moist and flavorful with a delicious crunchy outer layer. Their tahini sauce is vegan and the combo was heavenly. Also, their dolmas were so good, and their pita bread was warm and freshly made, perfect for pairing hummus or falafel or rice. the only regret that i have is that i don't live closer to odeh's. This place a secret gem. Everything was fresh from the bread to the hummus. They were super good at following COVID procedures and were very kind people as well. My kids had the shredded chicken sandwich was was light and they both enjoyed it given my son is a picky eater. Made sure to have the pita bread and it did not disappoint, you could taste the freshness in the bread like it was just cooked that day with the freshest of grains. We stopped for the night in Elko on our trip west to CA. Based on reviews, we decided to get takeout from Odeh's for dinner. Absolutely delicious! Some of the best Middle Eastern food we have EVER eaten anywhere - and definitely the best thing we've had while driving across the country. The service was friendly and our order was ready exactly on time! It was still piping hot when we got it back to our hotel room. We ordered the Shisk Tawook and Kuba plates with a house salad and pita. Our sides of tzatziki, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj and hummus are common options - but Odeh's versions were just scrumptious! We really enjoyed our lunch at Odeh's we had Falafel sandwich, shawarma sandwich hummus and Tabbouleh. We took our dessert baklava and date cookies to go. This place is kind of funny on the inside - it was clearly once a panini place. However, the food is fresh and made from scratch, and it's a fast place to grab a good meal. They even delivered to my front yard once! I have never been able to try their falafel as they have been out of it every time I've gone, but I did thoroughly enjoy their chicken shawarma and salad. read more

While on a road trip from MA to CA my boyfriend and I ended up in Elko. Due to the many many 5 star reviews we decided to try this place. It did not disappoint. The rice was well seasoned. Every side I had, (hummus, tzatziki, and tabbouleh) felt homemade. It was the best tzatziki I have ever had. My boyfriend got the falafel sandwich, which he ate every bite of. The pita was thick and so soft. The women running the front were extremely friendly, and our food was made quickly. You should definitely eat here. read more

Started our epic road trip for the Four Corners and after driving 420 miles from Sacramento, CA, we stopped in Elko, NV to have dinner. Found a jewel in the middle of the Nevada desert. A Palestinian Christian family-owned restaurant filled with delightful entrees. Michael ordered the Mediterranean Chicken salad while I had the vegetarian combo. Big entrees with lots of fabulous items. The chicken was outstandingly tasty while my vegetarian plate had incredible hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, home-made pita bread, etc. If you need a place to eat, this place is an excellent choice. read more

The second time we came we were greeted with a "welcome back. Good to see you again." I am dairy and Gluten Free. They were great about accommodating dietary restrictions. I love Mediterranean food and this is now one of my "must" places to eat in Elko. Today, my first time here, I had the Kofta with Tabouli salad and hummus, and a side order of dolma. Let me just say the dolma almost didn't last for this ride back to the hotel. SO GOOD! The dolma was PERFECT! Cold, tart from the lemon dressing, the leaves were tender - but not mushy, and the rice filling was delicious, and like good caviar, burst in your mouth when chewed. The Kofta was tender and spiced to perfection, floating on a bed of (again, perfect) rice. Yum! The tabouli was lovely, the hummus flavorful.
